I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Onelife Fitness Fairfax! While it was a great gym when it was 24 Hour Fitness, it's now a FANTASTIC gym - new, unique equipment, expanded workout spaces, strategic layout that makes getting your favorite machines easy-as-pie, and upgrades galore! CLEAN and upbeat, plus friendly, knowledgeable staff. If you're on the fence about joining this gym, don't be. Here, you'll reach your goals sooner than later and have so much fun while doing it. Ask for Ben or Louis - they'll take good care of you!

I've been a member of Onelife Fitness since 2018. I tried this location just right after the acquisition from the 24 Hour Fitness and didn't like it at all. Now, I see positive changes: added towel service, new equipment, and renovations. The only thing that I would like to see in the future is renovated lockers and showers. There is still a moldy odor in the showers.

EDIT: after my review, the staff posted a reply to reach out to the manager. I reached out and nothing happened. They just said they can cancel my membership. What a joke. Replying on Google like they are going to help to look "good" and then actually doing nothing.
Personally am not a fan of the change from 24 to Onelife. Only negatives from the takeover: 1. the operation hour even got shorter and only opens until 7pm even on weekdays, 2. no equipment really got updated, 3. it is now more busy for some reason, 4. buddy passes are not honored.
I was paying the highest tier for 24fitness with a buddy pass and they said they will not honor any membership differences or membership perks and just change all previous 24fitness members to regular membership for Onelife. I usually pay one year upfront so this now means that I basically paid more to be just the same price as all other members who paid the basic membership... I understand the cost difference between memberships for the two brands, but it's not like there is any advantage for members from this change.

We recently joined OneLife Fairfax, after having been a member of another gym in the area for three years. OneLife is fantastic - lots of different equipment, in excellent condition, and organized very well; it is well-lit and spacious. The pool is beautiful and it has a nice hot tub & sauna. The locker rooms are kept very clean. The staff are super friendly and the membership manager, Ben, was great in introducing us to the gym & signing us up. HIGHLY recommend OneLife Fairfax!

I’ve been coming to One Life Fitness for a while, and the recent remodeling made it even better. The weight training area is now much larger and well organized — plenty of machines and free weights. Everything feels clean, new, and motivating. Definitely one of the best gyms around!

Onelife Fitness is an excellent gym for people who want a full-service fitness experience with a wide variety of equipment and amenities. The facility is modern, spacious, and designed to suit all kinds of fitness goals—whether you’re into strength training, cardio, group classes, or swimming. Many locations feature pools, saunas, and even recovery areas, which make post-workout time relaxing and enjoyable. The gym also offers classes like yoga, cycling, and HIIT that are led by enthusiastic and professional trainers who keep the energy high and workouts motivating.
One of the biggest strengths of Onelife Fitness is its community atmosphere. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and genuinely interested in helping members reach their goals. The gym stays clean, and the machines are usually well maintained. However, during peak hours, it can get crowded, which sometimes makes finding equipment or space in classes a bit challenging.
The membership plans are flexible, though it’s always smart to review the cancellation policy closely before signing up. Despite that, the overall experience is positive, and the value matches the quality of the services provided. Onelife Fitness is ideal for anyone looking for more than just a gym—it’s a place where fitness, wellness, and motivation come together in one vibrant and supportive environment.

So far so good! Glad I found Onelife Fitness Fairfax! The gym has received much needed upgrade. Sufficient equipment and seems like the facilities are efficiently run. Shoutout to Ben. He’s professional, approachable, and genuinely cares about the members. Thank you also for every staff checking in people - always going the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome and supported. Kudos!

I don’t usually write long reviews, but Manager Steve B. at the Price Club location truly deserves it. From day one he has set the tone for what great leadership looks like in a gym. He’s visible, approachable, and actually listens—then follows through.
Steve has personally helped me with a couple of things that could’ve turned into headaches elsewhere. He handled a membership/billing question quickly and transparently, explained my options without any pressure, and made sure everything was corrected before I left. That level of ownership is rare and really appreciated.
You can tell his team respects him too. The front desk is friendly and consistent, the trainers are upbeat, and the floor staff are always moving—wiping down equipment, re-racking weights, and keeping traffic flowing even during the busy hours. That doesn’t happen by accident; it’s the result of a manager who sets high standards and leads by example. I’ve also noticed how fast equipment issues get addressed—cards go up, repairs are scheduled, and Steve keeps members in the loop.
Beyond operations, he creates a welcoming culture. He remembers names, checks in on members’ goals, and treats every concern—big or small—with the same professionalism. I’ve brought family and friends to this location and they all commented on how clean it is and how positive the vibe feels.
If you’re on the fence about joining, this is the location to try. Steve B. runs a tight, member-first ship, and it shows every time I walk in the door. Great manager, great team, great gym.

I’m a member of this gym, and today I was shocked by how poorly I was treated. I went to use the restroom with my 3-year-old child, and the staff told me I wasn’t allowed to go just because I had a child with me. That’s completely unacceptable and disrespectful especially to a paying member.
A gym should be a welcoming place for families and members, not one that embarrasses or discriminates against them. I expected professionalism and basic human decency, but unfortunately, that’s not what I found here.

I am a new member but very happy with it. I don’t care for gyms but I do like fitness classes. So far I have taken many and found them all challenging and diverse enough to not be bored. The instructors are encouraging and do a good job for explaining the moves with options for more/less advanced students. Being on the beginner end I have never felt out of place while surrounded by much more fit participants. The class variety and times make it easy to attend. I am pleased with my investment here.

Different free pass policy than what I am used to at my local OneLife which is understandable considering it’s a different location. Front desk guy gave poor customer service about explaining that. Kind of just ignored us after he told us to pay $15 which is upsetting since I am a member.

I’ve had an amazing experience at Onelife Fitness in Fairfax! The gym is always clean, well-maintained, and has all the equipment you need for a great workout. What truly makes the difference is the management especially "Stephen Berg". Stephen goes above and beyond to make sure members feel welcome and supported. He’s professional, approachable, and always willing to help with any questions or concerns. You can tell he really cares about the members and the quality of the gym.
Thanks to Stephen and the whole Onelife team, this location has become one of the best fitness centers in the area. Highly recommend!

I would give a negative star if I could. I usually never review things but this has frustrated me to no end. I shouldnt have to pay $90 to cancel.
When transitioning from 24hour fitness to onelife, not only was our previous contract no honored ( no more buddy system), I signed up on a reduced fee service without being told it was a 12month contract. I was told I could cancel when my partners membership expired but now I am being penalized for trying to end my membership early. Also the only way to cancel is emailing and cant do it in person at the gym? What is all this bs and horrible customer service?
This transition has been a nightmare and I feel hoodwinked into things with people telling me different things everytime.
Get your policies in order and stop changing them on people when we arent even the ones involved in or wanted this transition.
You should at least honor the old contracts as that is what people signed up for and be transparent about thr new policies.
I will never go to onelife again or recommend it to anybody. STAY AWAY.

plus a pool and hot tub, sauna, or steam room.

Used to be a 24hour fitness, now a onelife and its hours suck. What kind of gym closes at 6pm on a Sunday? Frustration with membership payment and feeling like the customer has to cater to THEIR hours. As far as gym facilities go, the transfer over from 24 hour to OneLife has made the hours worse, shoehorned in intrusive e-tools (The OneLife app is among the worst designed I've ever had the displeasure of using,) added a parasitic nickel-and-dime "Pay for services at gym" fee structure, and the managements unwillingness to cancel dissatisfied rollovers from 24 hour fitness's acquisition is distinctly unpleasant. The "Million dollars in renovations" means nothing to someone who just wants to terminate their contract with a gym that is not what they signed up for under a contract they distinctly did not agree to / or sign.
We were rolled over into a OneLife contract when 24hr fitness sold to them (And by extension the private equity fund 26North Partners.) Canceling the unwanted contract with the new-ownership has been an ordeal and one that contradiction of the FTC's "Click to Cancel" law. Which will be brought up with the FTC if OneLife continues to not comply with the membership termination request. They already violated the terms of our original contract by dropping essential parts of it when 24 hour rolled over to Onelife, I have zero intention of staying.
I have reached out to OneLife's customer support multiple times to terminate my account and have, as of writing this, not heard anything back. I have also talked to the manager of this facility who stated that he was "Unable to cancel memberships from here."
At this point, I'm better off filling out VDACS's complaint form than expecting OneLife to do the right thing.
I honestly feel bad for what OneLife & 24hour's did to the staff here, they were, prior to the buyout, pretty dang great. Now they're stuck using cheap plastic garbage that is designed to fall apart.
If you need a gym, I sincerely implore you to go anywhere else.
06/13/25 Edit & additional information. I ended up having to file complaints with VDACS & the BBB to get One Life Fitness's "live-online only" services to terminate my membership. It effectively took legal threat to get them to terminate a membership. Go. Somewhere. Else.

I wanted to recognize Melanie a lady who works at the pool area in Fairfax gym near Costco. She has a great work ethic. She constantly monitors the pool and remind people who uses the gym longer than 30 mins so that others who are waiting in the queue has a chance to use the pool. She is always speaking in a professional manner and a big smile making customers feel comfortable. I applauded her and wish you have more people like her working at your gym.

Been coming here for a while, and loved it. The price was great, and buddy system was awesome for allowing my little sisters to work out with my wife and I. OneLife will be getting rid of that. Now, even just paying for my wife and I, an annual membership (previously was $311 for wife and I total) will be shooting up to nearly $960 per year with OneLife’s new monthly costs. Not to mention how dirty 24Hr Fitness did their staff by not telling them in advance of the sale. Super lousy thing to do and I hope OneLife does right by these employees. One last thing—touting nearly $1million in renovations to try and keep people returning here doesn’t work when you’re doubling or tripling the cost of their membership. Especially when the renovations haven’t happened yet. Grace period or not, that’s way too big a jump in price change to ignore.
Super disappointed. I loved this gym.
Edit: Adding on to this a month later. Nothing says “1 million dollars in renovations!!” like replacing the perfectly fine weights with garbage Amazon plastic weights that have no grip and tiny handles. Meanwhile there’s still dust from 2023 on all of the machines. This place is going downhill fast.

This is no longer the 24h fitness that used to be in Chantilly. The equipment is filthy and the mens locker room even more so showers appear to have not been washed since new management arrived. New management is already desperate to squeeze money out of establishment claiming a million dollar renovation price hikes are already happening. There is also the buddy pass system which they are dismantling without considering how it is written into every single one of the contracts provided by one life fitness and new agreements have been signed or members notified clearly this establishment no longer needs my business nor yours. This place was great until it got bought out.
I’ve never felt so misled and frustrated with a gym membership. I’d only been signed up for about two months when Onelife took over my 24 Hour Fitness contract and revoked my buddy pass without warning, forcing my partner to pay for a separate membership if he wants to join.
When I reached out via Email, no one responded until days later, I suddenly received a call. The manager’s phone call felt more like scolding than customer service. He offered zero real solutions, no refund options, and explained that if my partner joined on his own, he’d face a three-month buyout fee just to cancel. It feels like they’re trying to fund their “$1 million renovation” by squeezing existing members for more money.
If you’re looking for honest, respectful treatment and transparent policies, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. My experience with Onelife has been disappointing, stressful, and purely about profit—not supporting members.
I wish I could give zero star.

Not sure that this will even be seen by the folks at Onelife Fitness but I'm very disappointed that the first move they made after taking over ownership of this club is to reduce operating hours. Sunday has always been an after work gym day for me and with the gym reducing their operating hours from 8pm to 6pm this will no longer be possible and may be a factor for me when deciding whether or not to maintain my membership under the new ownership. This is very disappointing.

I’ve been a member of 24 Hour Fitness ever since this location (Costco Plaza) opened up. For the first couple of years, it was awesome. Equipment was new, facility was super clean throughout, and you could go anytime throughout the day and be able to use equipment without having to wait. That unfortunately all changed around 2019, and it’s only been exponentially getting worse by the day.
Equipment - most equipment, especially treadmills, stairclimbers, and weight machines are in dilapidated condition. Treadmills and stairclimbers aren’t maintained at all if not already broken (with a sign saying…broken), generally in poor condition and randomly breakdown mid-workout. The gentleman we used to see all day going around inspecting, maintaining, and repairing the machines is gone. I haven’t seen him (or a replacement) in years. As for the weight machines, most of the rubberized grips are either gone or replaced with cheap alternatives that easily slide off.
Facilities - Disgusting. That’s the best way to describe them. The general floor is always dirty, walls all have holes around the sanitation equipment, and generally stained. There is also a lingering vomit inducing odor as soon as you step inside. The worst part are the changing rooms. I can only speak for the men’s but you walk in and you see caked dust all over the walls and around the ventilations. The floor is probably mopped once a week, and if you come in the evenings, it’s disgusting. The edges and corners of the floor also have caked dust and dirt. The showers are OK if you know which one to go to. Some only have ice cold water, others have sewage odor. There used to be dedicated cleaning staff that you’d see throughout the day. I haven’t seen one in years. All I see now are the front desk staff themselves doing the cleaning. The worst part is when you see the manager (yes, the manager) vacuuming the floors. You’d expect the manager to be…managing the operations and his staff...not doing the cleaning himself.
Last but not least, good luck being able to workout in the evening. If you’re lucky to find a parking spot, you’re unlikely to find available equipment. This was not the case in the past. I could be wrong, but I attribute this to their steeply discounted annual plans that allow members to bring a buddy every day.
My membership is up in May and I will not be renewing it after 10+ years coming here. I know every gym probably has it's own issues, but guessing they at least have operational equipment, dedicated cleaning staff and clean facilities, and don’t have the 2 for the price of 1 membership bullshit (free buddies).

I've been to many gyms across the state throughout my lifetime and this one by far has been the biggest disappointment. Being a D2 player in the past, I have not seen such poor quality courts and damaged rims in any other gym. Aside from the very slippery and humid courts(i've seen people get injured due to that) I understand that the rims do get damaged after awhile but it's the gym's responsibility to replace them after they clearly look bent. I expect change to be made as a paying customer for these poor quality courts as this is an expense for other's health and satisfaction of playing basketball here.

The club manager is very attentive and engages club members when he’s not busy. He also takes it upon himself to make sure that the club is clean, stocked, and organized.
The club maintenance crew is also very diligent with finding and fixing issues with the equipment. This club has the best uptime on equipment of any busy 24 Hour Fitness that I’ve visited.
The bathrooms are usually kept very clean outside of the puddles of water from people returning from the pool or the showers.
I wish the club still provided a good towel service but the optional towel service requires an additional monthly fee and the towels that are provided barely qualify as dish rags. It’s an optional service so I won’t mark down the rating because it’s completely optional.
My one wish is that they would dust the club more or have air filters because when you look up at the fan blades or anything hanging from the ceiling you can’t help but notice the layers of dust and grime that have accumulated from a lack of extra cleaning.

Been going here for 6 years now, when I first started it was great, low rates, never busy, OPEN 24 HOURS!!! Since then things have changed, they skyrocketed the price more than 130%. Also they are super inconsistent with pricing, some memebers have been given a rate of 30 a month and others(myself included) have been given a rate of 50 a month. Their hours are also awful now, they keep reducing, how do you call yourself 24 hour fitness but you only open till 10 on weekdays and 8 on weekends+Friday. They also dont restock the paper towel sanitation stations very often as I find them empty alot. Overall the quality of this gym has decreased over the past 6 years and the price has skyrocketed, make it make sense. But hey they basketball court is fun and I enjoy the people that go there!

Deleting old review and updating. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE.
I travel a lot for work so I didn't know when my membership was renewing or expiring. I spoke to STEVE one of the managers and he said he doesn't have that information and that charges go out at the beginning of the month, and since it's July, it will go out in August. Canceling my auto renew would also mean terminating my membership then he said. So, I said I will wait and left the country on business. I got back a week later to see that I had been charged. My bank won't dispute it because it's a membership and I didn't cancel it and the gyms won't refund me because it's outside of their grace period. I am moving out of the country at the end of the year and I don't need another year membership. If you do the math, who in their right mind would pay $55/month at this mediocre gym?
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHODDY GREEDY CORPORATION.

Clean and organized, nevertheless this isn’t your usual chrome & glass gym, you will see some serious competitors working out at high intensity — and we all can learn from them — similar to the garage gyms we knew and loved “back when”. Though labeled 24Hours, call it a misnomer. Still, the hours are quite extended, and there are rows of top quality machines, weights, and equipment so you never have to wait to do your best to make a better YOU!
Plenty of free parking, fitness regimes and variety of sports drinks sold at prices not unreasonable, and free, easy to use lockers right near the entrance. The ever-friendly management serves to help you set achievable goals.
See y’all there?! Yeah, get swole, yo! 🏋️♀️ 🏊♀️ 🚴 🇺🇸

The manager has attitude when he dealing with my membership cancellation, I tried to explain clearly the reason why i need to do it but he just didn’t care and refused to listen at all. He just interrupt me and repeat his gym policy whatever with his attituded face. English wasn't my first language so i had trouble understanding the policy when I bought the membership and personal trainer session with the manager Steve, I tried to explain to him that I would like to exchange to month to month membership or switch to Falls Church location since it’s near to my place. Also I was a member of 24 hrs with Falls Church location last year then I paused for a few months because of my working relocation. I just trying to resume my gym routine when I get back this area.
Additionally the personal trainer he assigned to me has been busy all the time. She has strict limited availabilities for my schedule and 4 sessions of 4hrs training, which I only did 1.5 hrs for $299. I told her when she asked me if I would like to renew next session with her I specifically told her No, as you know I still got charged $299 because of late cancellation… Then for the second session package she didn’t reply back my message when I texted her to schedule training. However the manager didn’t care at all or tried to help.
I understand the manager is running a business and they have policies, but I don’t believe there’s nothing they can do for customers had troubles when customers really need to cancel membership or make changes. I even reached out headquarter 24hrs, I did complaint email step by step, no response for sure🙂

Dirty. Dirty floors. Dirty showers. Bathroom stalls without toilet paper. AC is nominal if any at all in the main gym area. Only saw one college age employee more intent on watching his phone with earbuds than pointing out where the locker room was located. I signed up for a guest pass and the only interaction I had with an employee was to be asked for my license to hold onto!!?? Needless to say, I won't be joining this gym.

Its not even 24 hrs…. Weights on machines have had missing numbers so you gotta quick maths to find the weight. Half of the cardio equipment doesnt incline, like the machine is broken. Old equipment, they are missing a lot of key machines such as pendulum squats, shoulder lateral machines etc. gym is overly crowded with tik tok kids all times of the day. Sauna is only avail at core hours of the day ( joined co-ed, not in locker room) Only reason to come here is the good price. Equipment, and overall hours make this place booty cheeks

Did a tour of this location and was extremely excited with the condition and amenities of the facility…. But when talking to staff I was made aware that “24hour Fitness” is in fact not even close to 24 hours. This is a solid gym for those looking for a straight forward gym experience. I am a former competitive bodybuilder and have tried every kind of gym in the past. I choose to belong to 24 Hour because it's affordable, it has all the necessary equipment (and much more), has 6 squat racks, 2 smith machines, etc. It's a very solid gym at an incredible price.

My visit to 24 Hour Fitness in Fairfax for a membership was a complete letdown.
Unfortunately, the customer service experience was disappointing. No one was at the front desk to greet me, and despite waiting for nearly 15 minutes, I received minimal assistance from the manager. The manager (his name is Payam) demonstrated an awful attitude and lack of professionalism. He was aware of my presence but made no effort to assist. When I finally sought information, the response was dismissive, with a casual suggestion to "look around" and a lackluster follow-up when I returned with questions. The disregard for customer concerns and the manager's apparent laziness left me thoroughly unsatisfied with the entire experience. I do not recommend this place to anyone!

***Not for the True Fitness Enthusiast***
As a dedicated fitness enthusiast, I found this gym to be more of a commercial establishment rather than a place for serious workouts. The new management, who don’t seem to share the same passion for fitness, have imposed numerous restrictions that have negatively impacted my experience.
The use of chalk is prohibited, deadlifting on the floor is not allowed, and additional restrictions are imposed seemingly at the whim of the new manager, Steve? The removal of office chairs, which gym members used for resting between sets, is another example of the restrictive environment.
The new manager's approach to management is overbearing. He treats members as if they were his children, dictating how we should use the gym. He once told me, “I don’t want my gym floor to be damaged,” due to heavy deadlifting, and warned against scratching the walls by placing weights next to them. It seems he would be better suited to managing a different line of business, not a gym.
In times of economic downturn, cost-cutting measures are understandable. However, reducing operating hours and turning off some lights, resulting in a darker, less motivating environment, is not the solution.
In conclusion, if you’re a serious fitness enthusiast looking for a place to push your limits and work out without unnecessary restrictions, this may not be the gym for you. 😊

This would really be 2.5 stars if possible.
Great lifting machines and free weights. Well maintained and kept.
Cardio area is pretty bad especially for treadmills. I’m 250lbs and typically run at 7.0 mph. This is not possible on these treadmills, as the belts will slide forward making it unsafe. Simply they’re very outdated with the cardio. Considering their general consumer this works because they aren’t putting a high output. But it’s disappointing considering the potential of this place.

Crowds... It's packed and good luck finding a bench or squat rack after 5pm.
Staff was friendly enough, and price isn't insane. Relatively clean facilities.

I kindly request training for your employees on the Silversneakers program offered by Medicare insurance companies. My grandfather had a frustrating experience at the 24HR Fitness center, and I believe better employee knowledge about Silversneakers could have resolved the issue.
My grandfather arrived at the 24HR Fitness center at 9 AM to use his Silversneakers benefit. Unfortunately, he was unable to access the facility. I also received a Silversneakers card online and attempted to provide the membership number to the front desk. However, the front desk staff declined to speak on the phone and insisted that the manager, who was unavailable from 9 AM to 10 AM, was needed to resolve the problem.
This all happened on 11/3/2023.
Update: After speaking to my grandfather via person, it turns out that the manager was at the scene but denied to speak on the phone or to help my grandfather out.

This was something I had mentioned but was told at the time it was due to covid.

Worst service I’ve ever experienced. When I signed up they told me after you cancel your membership you get 30 days to still come to the gym. I canceled my membership and I asked if I still get the 30 days and they said yes. After 5 days i was told I couldn’t come anymore. When speaking with someone they told me their employee gave me the wrong information. I don’t understand how it’s my problem that they don’t train their staff. He also kept saying “I think” and was never sure about what he was saying. The person I was speaking to was also the same persons that canceled my membership not even a week ago and told me I have 30 days. Mind you he is the so called “manger” and never had an answer for me. He ended up not giving me the 30 days and when I asked to speak to the manager he lied and said that he was the manager. I know he is not because I had this same issue last year and I know who the actual manager is. The whole staff are unprofessional and don’t know what they are doing. They will try to hustle money out of you and will lie through their teeth. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS GYM!

When I signed-up for the gym I was informed by the Manager that this gym is 50,000 square feet of awesomeness, and he is right! After my first day in the gym, I have to concur that he is right. From the Olympic sized swimming pool to the basketball court, I am thoroughly impressed. I've never personally been a member of such an enormous gym like this. I've been to a rec center that has a similar size, but even that rec center had less equipment than they have here. Just the amount of cardio equipment and the number of treadmills alone blew me away. I have typically worked with just 5 - 6 pieces of gym equipment in the past, but I think I will get much more of a gym routine from this gym. At 7am there were already about 50 people in here working out. I hope that I can stay as committed as they are, and I have a feeling that this gym will help me do it.

I’ve been going here for years. They noted over the past few weeks that they were taking steps towards addressing how crowded it is. Today (peak hours) I couldn’t get in on a bench, any barbells or any cable machines. They are clearly not addressing this issue, as I watched them signing on new clients during this. Also not 24 hours as the name implies. Place has a lot of potential but I wouldn’t recommend it unless the location is REALLY convenient. They offer the same experience for $40-$50 that competitors offer for $10-$15.

Gotta love the privileged people that use this gym. They back their cars in front of the Subway blocking people that go the the restaurant, from actually parking there. Plenty of parking in front of gym in the lot, but no, I'm special and park in front of someone elses business. They seem to love those 3 spaces in front of the business next door. I feel sorry for the owners of the Subway. But every night, 4-6pm, those gym rats need to park there. No shame.

This is hands down my favorite gym I have ever been to!!! I have been a member at many different gyms over the years and this one, by far, has the best equipment and environment! They have a great selection of equipment, plenty of space to workout and lots of amenities to offer (pool, spacious studio, classes, etc.) The gym is incredibly well maintained and you will notice the staff, especially the gym manager, going around and cleaning consistently throughout the day. Signing up was a breeze thanks to the gym manager, Steve. I was able to get a great deal on my membership and able to get signed up over the phone in a matter of minutes. I have been loving my workouts at this gym and would highly recommend going to this gym over others in the NOVA area!!!

I took my daughter to the pool this evening, and had a very unpleasant incident.
On the way in, there was a wet tiled area, and she slipped and fell. A female employee came over, and her first words were “where is the wet spot?” She put a sign there, but never bothered to ask about my daughter, which upset me. I said to her that she should have asked how the child is doing, not where the wet pot is, to which she did not reply. I proceeded to the pool.
Then a gentleman came over to me and asked to speak to him. The gentleman accused me of using swear words (which I did not), telling me, I should not treat the employee that way, and insisted that I apologizes to her. I stated I did not use any swear words, and told him to check the security camera to verify. I actually felt humiliated by the way the gentleman accused me.
Then after the swimming was over, I stopped at the front desk to speak to the female employee, and she refused to talk to me. He walked over to the office to talk to the gentleman from the earlier conversation, and this time, him and one other man accused me of mistreating the female employee. He treated me very rudely. Given I was with my daughter the entire time, I walked away and came home, needless to say, pretty upset.

Came here with the 3 day free trial, and was not impressed. The gym, specifically around the benches and dumbbells smelled awful. Like, "floor hadn't been mopped and nothing had been wiped down in months" bad. None of the equipment seems to be well maintained or taken care of. Lifting platforms are all uneven and need replaced, which is incredibly annoying while deadlifting or doing Olympic lifts as the barbell rolls around sideways instead of staying where you put it. Very limited amounts of plates. I spent 15+ minutes each day wandering around trying to find plates to use. Cable area was meh- very low quality attachments, and the cables use some arbitrary weight measurement which is not transferable to any other gym. The base price of $40 per month is absolutely not worth it. *Maybe* if you are interested in the pool/cycling/group classes, but if you just want a gym to lift, this isn't a great option.

This club is one of the cleanest in the company. This sign partially explains why. They have an active cleaning schedule that they follow. The hot tub is sparkling and the lifeguard is friendly. The state of Virginia must require lifeguards at indoor pools. The rest of the company should hire them also as many locations are in need of a serious cleaning. Not this one. Definitely not the best gym I’ve been to, but not the worst either. Well maintained. Good staff. Pretty good equipment. Primary issue with this location is it is an extremely over-populated gym. Good luck finding any open equipment after normal working hours, and even during working hours the place can be pretty crowded. There will be 3-4+ people surrounding a single bench at times, with nowhere to stand anywhere near their rack of dumbbells. Can turn out to be a waste of time some nights.

This review is not about the staff at 24 hour fitness, this is about lack of training by their corporate and not canceling accounts. When I was using the gym two years ago, I never had an issue with the front desk staff. I just noticed on my Visa Card that the 24 hours fitness center is charging me $49.34 a month for the past two years. I canceled my membership two years ago to try a closer gym to my home. To cancel your membership you have to physically go in to terminate your membership for which I did. The person at the front desk I called now to discuss the charges on my credit card for past two years, was not prepared how to handle my call or request. I encourage everyone reading this review to check your credit card statements and make sure you are still not being charged post cancelation of your account. There are plenty of other gyms in the area that would welcome your business with much superior account management policies and amenities.

Filthy locker room, limited hours not 24hrs and even more limited pool hours , they cut towel service, and they continue to charge same $$ as they cut all services....far from the good value once delivered.

Nice equipment but they need to get rid of the plastic bags in the locker rooms. No one else is going to save the planet- it’s up to each one of us.

Been going here for a bit now and I really love it. They have a good mixture of cardio and weights (machines and free). Only downsides are it can get a bit packed so you have to find the best times to go, and the water fountain is never cold/there’s no ice for your water (unless I’m blind and haven’t seen it). The people at the front desk are super friendly, and the manager is a really nice guy who is always happy to chat and help out with anything. Definitely recommend!

It is considered the best quality of 24 hour fitness in this area. The employees are always super nice and smile at you. The equipment is constantly renewing. The locker room is very clean. The pool is clean as well. This place is way much better than the one at seven corner and Tysons.
