Nia is my trainer, and she is superb! Prior to investing in myself, I lacked consistency and was wasting my own time.Consistency is a requirement for physical and internal results from strength training.Nia brings energy as bright as her smile, but firm guidance to challenge you to gain strength and get results.Her availability aligns with my busy life.Currently with four months of sessions and no end date in sight! Nia is absolutely amazing! She is extremely positive and encouraging, but also helps you to push your limits and understand your own strength. We went into get my 15 year old on a workout plan and Dana and Jon told us that he would be meeting Remi and he would be the primary on his workouts. After meeting with Remi and my son starting to work out with this trainer, the changes in him have been more than just physical but mental, his confidence has been built right along with it. I couldnt have asked for better for my son. Remi really has made such a huge positive impact on him. Thank you all for taking the time to listen to my concerns but most of all matching Remi up with my son. He has been a positive influence from day 1.

I have been doing personal training with Dana just over a month now and I am impressed how much strength and progress I have made. She never hesitates to pivot if an exercise isn’t comfortable for me that day especially since I’m hyper mobile and have auto immune diseases. She’s been super flexible with my schedule as I work full time and have two toddlers. She is always encouraging and never scared to correct my form. It’s been a great experience and I intend to keep up my membership at the gym even after my personal training sessions have ended.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to start my fitness journey!
As someone with zero prior gym experience, I was a little nervous to get started. Jon did a fantastic job of making me feel comfortable, and putting together a training plan tailored to me. In just 8 weeks I've already seen tremendous improvement!

I have been working out with Dana for 8 months, and I couldn't recommend her more. She is so supportive and encouraging. She constantly pushes me to do more, even when I think I can't. Dana is a very caring person who loves to help others. You can just tell that she loves her job.

I have always been a little nervous about the gym environment and working out around people. Optimal Prime Fitness has totally eliminated that for me. I feel so welcomed every time I go in whether it’s by Dana, who is an amazing trainer, or other members of the gym. Everyone has been so kind and non-judge mental. I absolutely recommend trying it out and doing personal training with Dana if you’re feeling lost with where to start getting fit.

Hands down the best gym in the area! I just finished an eight week training program with Jon, who helped me meet and exceed all of my goals. Jon provided training 3 days a week for me and helped me build a solid nutrition plan. He was always available and responsive outside of our three sessions each week to answer any recovery or nutrition questions I had. The Prime equipment is some of the best out there, and this gym has everything you need. The gym itself is a great atmosphere and everyone supports each other in achieving their goals! Needless to say now that my training program is over, I will continue to workout at this gym as long as I’m in the area. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for great equipment and great people!

I've been going to Dana for 4 weeks of personal training after many years of a avoiding strength training. After only one session I knew she was exactly what I needed to motivate me. I have grown to love her because she pays attention, reads my expressions, and knows what I need to push me. I leave each session stronger and wanting to push harder next time. Optimal Prime Fitness manages to pack everything you need in a gym in a commercial space without feeling cluttered or cramped. Everything is well organized, easy to find, well maintained, and clean. Classic style metal plates and weight meets top-of-the-line machines and equipment really gives a new- meets old-school vibe, and I dig it 100%.
Jon and Dana were immediately welcoming and made me feel right at home upon my first visit. While I had used similar equipment in the past, Jon gave me some pointers to really ensure I was getting the best out of my training.
My only negative comment is that I wish I had known about this gym sooner as I am moving in about a month!

After 1 1/2 years of strength training on my own, I wanted personal training to learn what I was doing right and what I was doing wrong. Jon provided a series of upper and lower body exercises for me that were safe and effective. He was extremely knowledgeable and I learned a lot during my sessions. He emphasized the importance on the proper use of the equipment to make sure I was getting the most benefit. Every session I was lifting more weight and I felt much stronger than when I started. Definitely recommend Optimal Prime Fitness for personal training or for those who are looking for a gym membership with top of the line equipment.

Optimal Prime fitness is easily 5 stars. The gym is clean with great equipment but the most important thing is how welcoming and friendly the owners are. Being someone who hasn’t set foot in a gym in years, they put me at ease. The community within this gym is amazing-always cheering you on and motivating you. Dana has been the best personal trainer. As a cardio girlie who has never really done weight lifting, I was pretty nervous (but excited) to start the weight lifting class at Optimal Prime! After the first week I was absolutely hooked! I love how welcoming the environment is, the group classes are SO fun, and I have seen SOOOO much progress in just the one month I have been going! Jon and Dana push you and encourage you and are truly there to make sure you grow in whatever way you want. Whether it be just growing your consistency in getting to the gym, growing your muscles, growing your comfort level, whatever, they are the optimal support system to help you reach your prime!

I am currently doing the 8 week personal training here. I am loving it so far! Dana and Jon are so encouraging and have a lot of knowledge about strength training. This is the best equipment I have used! The atmosphere is sort of like a party like atmosphere but the healthy kind. The manager actually showed me new ways to lift that made me more sore than I’ve been i a long time. Happy new gym goer here. Better than the Y or the old gym in dahlgren.

My 12 year old daughter and I are just about to complete our last week of women’s beginner strength training class at Optimal Prime Fitness. Dana is an amazing trainer. She’s easy to talk to and very encouraging. My daughter, who has never been a fan of any type of sports, found that she enjoys coming to the gym to do weight/strength training with Dana. I am nearing the end of my 8 weeks of personal training 3x per week, and have loved it so much that I’m going to sign up for another 8 weeks! I just completed the women’s beginner 6-week workout program, and it's been both challenging and rewarding. I feel better overall—more toned, sleeping better, and best of all, my hip pain has disappeared. Previously, I had sporadically worked out at regular gyms, but now I realize I wasn't doing it effectively. Just two days a week for six weeks, and I've seen more gains than ever before. I joined Optimal Prime Fitness back in January. I had zero weight training experience so I started by taking the Women’s Intro to Strength Training class. The class was fantastic! The owners/trainers Dana and Jon are awesome. They made sure to explain everything to everyone in class so we knew what we were doing and made sure we were doing it properly and safely. They are very knowledgeable and super encouraging. It was the first time ever that I was excited to go workout. The women in my training class were all great as are all of the other members I have met. I loved it so much I decided to enroll in personal training with Dana. She kicks my butt in the best way possible and I am so happy I took the leap to personal training with her. I continue to get stronger every week. I’m excited to see how I progress over the next few months. So glad I joined! Highly recommend!

My cousin and I saw a new gym open in our town, decided to check it out and realized they had classes you can attend for free if you have a membership there. We decided to join to help us get over our fears of the gym and hopefully get some tips and tricks about nutrition. When I say, this gym has helped us tremendously with both of those things, I mean it! The owners are wonderful and truly care about pushing you to become the best you. They are so kind and understanding as well, always try to make sure everybody is okay or if they can help with something if they notice you’re uncomfortable. It’s such a nice gym as well, very clean machines. 10/10 recommend, me and my cousin love going here 💚
