Wonderful yoga studio, I started recently and enjoy the variety of classes offered. It's a very positive vibe, I really enjoy these classes, and appreciate the wonderful caring instructors here. After a short time I already feel stronger and I will continue with this studio to improve my practice and get stronger and healthier.

Hello everyone,
I’m someone who’s in the gym training 5 days a week. I was looking for a yoga studio to give me better mobility and flexibility to compliment my daily hard training. I came across Peace of Mind & Body and I’m just so grateful I did! This is not what I would consider your typical yoga studio, where you go, do your poses and move on with your day. This place is more than that, it’s a place where you really connect with your body, your mind and your spirit. It’s a place of healing beyond the body. I didn’t realized how much I needed it. Aliya is the owner and the teacher for most of the classes there, she’s a very spiritual individual who is just wonderful with words and how she teaches. I highly recommend her if you are looking to connect your mind, body and spirit ❤️

Love this studio!! Being new to Yoga I wasn't sure what to expect but Aliya has such a calming and supportive teaching style that I instantly felt at home. The gentle and restorative classes are perfect for newbies like me. If you've ever been curious about Yoga, this is definitely the place to start.

I started to participate in yoga classes a couple of weeks ago and it’s already showing a big improvement! Going for a morning Gentle yoga class gives me a wonderful start for the day ahead. And it’s not just about physical activity it’s all about finding the perfect balance between your mind, body and soul! The Peace of Mind and body is a powerful, great and very friendly place! I was doing yoga before in two different places but Peace of Mind and body is like not other places… it gives you much more for your everyday busy and demanding life! I am so happy that I went there for a try of one class in the morning. The owner, Aliya is a real gem and she guides us through the process with all her heart and great knowledge!
I would recommend that place to everyone!

Aliya just added an all chair class. I’ve been going to Peace of Mind yoga for three years, and I am surprised with the workout in the all chair class. I felt my muscles working yet very relaxed and comfortable. This is the class for you if you have knee, back issues or even if you are just “stiff”.Alyia can “read the room” and knows what each individual needs. It is an amazing class.

I enjoy going to Peace of Mind and Body! Aliya is a great instructor who is very kind and wants to help you. One aspect I really enjoy and do not see in other places as much is how she incorporates mindfulness into her yoga practice. This is the reason I keep coming back to her classes. It is a whole mind and body experience that is beneficial for your physical and mental health.

Aliya is simply wonderful. I came for the first time this weekend and I felt rejuvenated, my back felt relief, and my mind felt decluttered. She’s an amazing teacher that walks around to make sure our form is good so we get the most out of the poses. Very happy to have found Peace of Mind and Body!

I’ve been attending classes for about a month after taking the intro to yoga workshop (highly recommend as a starting point). There is a nice variety of classes offered, and Aliya is a great teacher! She has created a very welcoming, kind, and judgement-free space. I also really appreciate Aliya’s care for our local community and the ways that she does good through her studio.

I have been coming for about two months now and I never thought I could do yoga. It had been amazing to see my body change and do things i didn’t do before. I started because I’m trying to get healthier and get my cholesterol down and after two months of yoga and eating a little better, it is down over 40 points! Really enjoying the classes!! (deep stretch, gentle and restorative). I was always interested in going to yoga and finally took action. Aliya mentioned after 3 weeks I would start to see the affects. I originally contacted Ms. Aliya because I needed to rent studio space to prepare for an upcoming performance. She worked with me to rent the space for a price that was within budget and I'm so grateful because I feel so much more prepared as the event gets closer. The studio is also well kept and a peaceful environment.
I also got to take her Pilates and Hatha Yoga classes, and as a dancer I found them to be a great addition to my other weekly workout, and a good reminder of my own Pilates training! If you need to work on your core definitely take the Pilates class.
One last thing, my first Hatha Yoga class felt like a good reset and a wonderful workout all in one. I definitely got challenged in my balance and stretching ability, but in the end as I sat in the dark listening to her instructions and parting words, I definitely felt calmed, centered, and ready to face the crazy of the outside world.

Aliya has not only helped me cope with my anxiety through yoga but also my 9 year old daughter who loves going to her private yoga/reiki sessions. I have seen a noticeable difference in her ability to focus on the present and turn negative thoughts into positive ones. It's a nice retreat from regular talk therapy and possibly a start to learning how to cope without the use of medication. I love the fitness aspect of it too as I am trying to get back into shape after the birth of my 2nd daughter. Aliya is very attentive in making sure I am doing the poses correctly and takes the time to answer all of my questions.

I work at a massage parlor, so I have gotten quite a few massages from many different people, but I can honestly say that Aliya's Thai massage was one of the best I'd ever had. It was incredibly relaxing and I felt so good when I got up afterwards. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

I have been going to PMB yoga for the last 2.5 years. I just left my *first* reiki massage with Aliya (for pain that I've had for the last month in my shoulder and arm). I haven't had full range of motion. Basic movements like reaching to do my hair, turning a steering wheel, or handing someone something has been difficult. I've been waking up at night because of the pain and my body has started to naturally guard/protect the arm from any movement during the day. My doctor suggested I might need physical therapy, but after today's session with Aliya, I can raise my arm all the way up without flinching. The pain has been *significantly* minimized. The experience itself was calming and informational and for a few moments I felt as if I was floating. Aliya was gentle with my arm, only lightly massaging it (until I'm able to push further). I'm looking forward to my next reiki sessions. Aliya will take care of you!

I signed up for the 4 class package last month and I absolutely loved it! I was able to try out some of the different yoga classes Aliya offers and I enjoyed all of them! I enjoy attending her classes because I feel as though doing yoga is a great way to disconnect from the social world and really take time to focus on yourself. I highly recommend taking classes with Aliya at her awesome studio!

It was my first ever yoga class and I am so glad I did it with Aliya. She was so lovely and very welcoming with our group. As for the class, I really enjoyed it. I liked the fact that it wasn't just "stretches" and she actually touched on also exercising your mind. It definitely lives up to its' name. 10/10 would go again.

One of the first yoga classes i’ve ever taken and it proved to be just as amazing as everyone says! Aliya was an amazing instructor who was not only very supportive and helpful, but also very relatable. She began her class with a personal story of hers, shared with all of us what it taught her, and encouraged us to take those lessons from it as well. With the way she interacted with other class attendees, it seems like a genuine bond was built between them, and I can understand why some keep coming back! Although I’m just getting my feet wet in the world of yoga, Peace of Mind and Body was a place where I could comfortably explore what yoga is and how it works without being afraid of judgement. Overall, it was a great experience that left me feeling very peaceful and one with myself. Totally would recommend!

Aliya never ceases to amaze me with her knowledge of Yoga. I’m proud to know someone like her, someone who gives more to her community then anyone I’ve ever known. The more in need you are of spiritual awareness, healthy body and downright needing a friend...she’s the yogi for you. Come in one time and you’ll be hooked. Seated Yoga is a great class to start with if you’re uncertain of what to expect. Also on Wednesday nights...Candlelight Yoga. Ahhh! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love going to Peace of Mind and Body Yoga! Aliya and her team host a range of classes for any skill level or physical need and give you such great care and attention that you’ll feel like a VIP. They’re always doing special and fun activities outside of the normal classes (winery weekend, wounded worrier yoga, etc.). I’ve been a client for a little over a year and the difference in my flexibility and stress level is amazing! I feel like I’m in my late teens/ early twenties again. I highly recommend you try out this studio.

I have been going to this studio for six months now after had never been exposed to yoga and all it’s benefits. Aliya is the kindest, well grounded person I have met all my life. Aliya also offers Reiki massage and Thai Massage. I now do both massages. Reiki offered me a peacefulness and stillness along with complete relaxation that I have never experienced. I had my first Thai massage a few days ago and still reaping the benefits. The energy and looseness of my joints and muscles is incredible. My only regret is I did not find Peace of Mind Wellness Studio years ago. Thank you Aliya for enriching my life.
