Private Studio Personal Training
Our Trainers have college degrees in Exercise Science and/or are Nationally Certified. I only accept the top 4 National Certifications: the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) or the National Strength Conditioning Association (NSCA) all requiring continuing education to maintain. In addition, we regularly earn Advanced Specialty Certifications in a variety of disciplines.

A few years ago I was diagnosed with osteoporosis. The beginning of this summer I finally wanted to be proactive in making myself stronger, as I knew stronger muscles would create stronger bones. I wanted to work with someone who understood osteoporosis and who would customize my sessions to meet my needs. I was paired with Lauren Grochmal. She genuinely listened to my concerns and created workout sessions that I knew were safe for me to do. She also emphasized the importance of correct alignment when working out. By the end of the summer I felt so much stronger and confident in how to safely continue working out. Lauren is a great trainer!

After multiple joint replacements I know the importance of a regular workout program with a qualified trainer who knows my limitations. Unfortunately I took a fall February 2017 which resulted in a broken neck. But fortunately after two surgeries, physical therapy, and my doctor's approval, I was able to start working with Stephen Sibert at Personal Training Associates in July 2017. He has helped me regain strength, stamina and to feel better about myself. I am back to normal in a few short months and am actually enjoying my workouts and have continued to this day.
