I hired Val of phased fitness to help bring some structure to my workouts as a jiu jitsu athlete. Within a few weeks of her program, I noticed a big difference in my capacity for work and, combined with healthy eating, I was pleased with my body composition as well. While I worked with Val primarily as an online client, the app she uses for programming is very easy and has great calorie/macro tracker features as well. She is very knowledgeable and helped me improve several of my compound lifts. Definitely recommend.

Valerie really loves what she does and you can tell that as soon as you start working with her. She easily finds ways to relate in as she has had her own journey with fitness that she is very open about. I was at a point where I was attempting different lifestyle changes such as the ketogenic diet for weight loss and was not getting the physical results or general feelings of wellbeing I desired. I really had hit a wall and felt that making any progress by my self was no longer a possibility.

Valerie is an exceptional coach. I have hired couple of coaches from bodybuilding forums and nothing comes close to what Valerie has to offer to the clients. She is very knowledgeable and ensures that she meets client needs and the feedback she provides on the exercise form is phenomenal.

I have been a Phased client since 2020. I work with Valerie on strength training and, more recently, have added a nutrition component to work on body composition. I really can’t say enough about the impact training with Val has had on my life. She firmly and compassionately helped me move from a sedentary to an active lifestyle—something that sounds great on paper, but is far more difficult to consistently implement. Her focus on mastering bite-size, incremental goals has enabled me to mature further into strength training than I ever expected.

Having worked in gyms and fitness facilities for many years myself, Valerie is probably the most “fluent” fitness professional I have come across in terms of her understanding of the human body, movement patterns, various training approaches, and nutritional support. She has numerous advanced certifications and continuing education, and draws fluidly on each of them to design completely tailored programs for me and her other clients. Valerie is very thorough in making sure your goals are met. I feel she went above and beyond the call of duty. When she’s not doing the basics like helping you with workouts she’s talking to you about better ways to train you.

Trying to find a con here because I like weighing pros and cons to make a decision. the only con I can see was the prices. Getting a powerlifting coach will be expensive. I found her prices to be similar to others and given her depth of education and work ethic they’re definitely worth it. I’d recommend signing up with Valerie.
