We have been at this gym for the past 5 seasons and love it! The owner is super hands on and the director Jess is literally phenomenal! If you have concerns and reach to Jess she will absolutely drop what she's doing and address the issue. I can't say enough positive things about the gym and the leadership it's under.

The gym is unbearably hot, smells horrible, bathrooms are filthy always overflowing with trash everywhere. I had to pull my young daughter out of toddler gymnastics because it was so uncomfortably hot. My older daughter was in a team but we never felt like coaches or staff truly cared about her growth or overall well being. There were never team bonding activities or any team like experiences. We never truly felt like it mattered if we were there or not.

It’s so hot
They yell l at you while spotting somebody else
They yell at us for practicing balance and coordination on the barrel together
There is no air conditioning
I was yelled at for trying to walk on the mat that no one was currently tumbling on and not getting ready to tumble on.
They open the big doors/windows for heat control but it doesn’t help
they also have a lot of bugs everywhere
I do not recommend coming here.
And they yell at us for trying to help the other person get off a barrel that they were stuck on
They said that “your not allowed to be helping the other person on the barrel we told you once and told you again if you do this again you can’t come back” we were just trying to help the other person get off the barrel cuz they were stuck. WERE NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGIAIN WE HATE THIS PLACE!!!!

Worst experience ever. My daughter has been enrolled here for about 4 months. Everything from the Owner, to the organization of the competitions, information shared about rules, schedules, changes of schedule, to the gym facilities, which is in a shady warehouse, is handled in an amateur, unprofessional and rude fashion. They only see you as a cash cow, not as a customer (and the membership is twice as expensive as the fanciest gym) and if you complain about anything, they have zero accountability or interest to resolve it. The gym has no limit of people there, they accept everyone, making the experience crowded and not personalized. And yet they don’t renovate the facilities nor upgrade their employees. For example, competitions time are scheduled with less than 24h of information. This is unacceptable. They make you drive your child 3h ahead to a far place which is chaotic from an organization standpoint, they put the teams waiting in hallways for to perform less than 2 mins with a team of about 30 people at a time. They don’t communicate that they don’t want parents in certain areas. There’s a woman, Coach Jessica, who treats athletes and parents in a bully and rude way. Both me and my daughter experienced this from her. She doesn’t ask, she yells at you, she undermines girls self-esteem and when you complain, the owner’s response is unprofessional and protective, instead of acknowledging that there’s a recurring issue with this person who works for him. I have never experienced such a poor behavior from a business like this. They post pictures of your kids on their social media without permission and block you from taking pictures of your own child. They shouldn’t be in business.

I’m a cheerleader at VT and come to the gym for adult open gyms whenever I’m in town, the community is welcoming and pushes you to better yourself as an athlete and person. I’ve had nothing but positive interactions with parents and staff and regularly find myself inviting friends to come to the gym to hang out.

I cheered at Phoenix Elite for three years in high school, and being a part of the Phoenix family was a major highlight of that time!

The coaches and other athletes are so supportive and caring, truly making Phoenix feel like a home away from home. When practice ended, I never wanted to leave.

I was on Phoenix’s first Worlds team, and I am so proud of the gym for growing to where it is today. It is so special to find a cheer gym with the perfect blend of individualized care for each athlete and also a competitive work ethic that leads to success, but Phoenix has it!

If you are an adult wanting space to build or refresh skills, a college student looking to continue summer workouts, or a young kiddo looking to start, this is the place for you. Stay away from this place ! My daughter went there yesterday afternoon 7/23/24. The instructor welcomed everyone there with open arms. “ hello how are you” my daughter was ignored by the instructor and made my daughter feel very uncomfortable. We brought this to the instructors attention then she wanted to act like she cared asking my daughter if she was coming. At this point my daughter does not feel like going in. Did not expect my 6 year old daughter to be discriminated against by a grown adult. She continued to ignore my daughter basically like if you don’t wanna come in that’s your problem. My daughter has done many different activities and the teachers always try to get my child or even other children that are shy to still come in. This teacher did not care whatsoever. So my daughter decided she didn’t want to stay. We later called to try to talk to a manager about what was going on and we get Jessica on the phone. Jessica was the rudest most unpleasant and unprofessional manager I have ever spoke to. The issue was brought to her attention and her response was “how would you of liked us to treat her” if you have to ask this question as a business that’s works with children maybe you should not be in business. Our response was “we wanted her to be treated equally just like everyone else”. She’s a 6 year old child and for a grown adult to be acting that way is unacceptable. We pay just like everyone else does and my daughter should not be treated any different. The response that came from Jessica’s mouth next was a little mind blowing to say the least. “Do you just want to cancel the class”. So right at that point we decided it was best to go ahead and cancel the class. I’m not sure who the owner of the establishment is here but Jessica is the worst manager of all times. She’s very unprofessional and could benefit from a couple values classes. I will make sure my word gets heard. Will be posting to Facebook, yelp and anywhere else I can get my review on.

My daughter started at Pheonix Elite three years ago with no tumbling or Cheerleading skills. she has since excelled in her tumbling skills, cheer skills and flying skills thanks to the coaches and staff at Pheonix Elite. Every coach she has had has been professional, personable and provided expert knowledge. My daughter made her HS Varsity Cheerleading squad because of the Phoenix Elite coaching and she continues to attend classes and private lessons there. We have been very happy with Pheonix Elite and will continue to attend classes there. We drive 45 minutes each way. we have tried other gyms and find that Phoenix Elite is the best gym around. I highly recommend this gym.

I've been using Phoenix Elite for about 3 years now and they are fantastic. With two (2x National Collegiate Champions) on their coaching staff, I know that my girls are able to learn and grow from the best. As a former college cheerleader myself, I know that they stress good form and technique to all the athletes they coach. They have great communication, and have even helped me, as an adult, get back to the mat after suffering an injury to my hand (non-cheer related!).

If you want a well-rounded athlete with a team of coaches that really care about them physically, mentally and emotionally then I highly recommend Phoenix Elite Cheer. They are competitive while still maintaining a focus on each child as an individual athlete. They even have a special needs team and encourage junior coaches so the athletes learn about giving back.
