We LOVE LOVE LOVE Pink Pearl! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this gym and the instructors! My daughter Charlotte has been attending for about 10 months. Originally, she was in the hour class and she moved to the 1 1/2 hour class about one month ago . The coaches are incredibly talented, professional, encouraging and kind. They only ask that the girls pay attention, be safe and try their best. If they do this, they are rewarded with a lollipop, stickers and pearls (beads)!

I watch the girls and they are truly enjoying themselves. Under the instruction of these talented coaches, they are all excelling! They have learned so much in such a short period of time. It is such a fun and positive experience!

I’m glad I chose Pink Pearl Gymnastics after trying few different one around the area.
The place is clean and simple.
The vibe is more set to help kids learn gymnastics with less chaos.
- Schools or activities should have the right to discipline the kids in able to gain respect from the kids they teach/coach, which also helps them get kids to focus and learn better. I’m glad the Coaches are great on balancing being Strict yet Patience with the kids.

My 4 and 5 year old girls have been going here for a little over a year. It’s a hidden gem. They are extremely professional and the girls love them. It is a family run business and they genuinely care and know what they are doing. We personally appreciate that there is order and structure in the class. At the end they get to play around a bit and have a game. The skills they are learning and the fun they have is worth every penny. Our youngest is very petite and her leotard was a bit too big, the owner sewed it for me (for free). I can’t say enough good things about the family that runs this business.

Mrs. Margaryta is a truly wonderful and genuine coach. She works so well with children, always encouraging them to try their best and celebrating their progress, just like schools do with stickers and small rewards. She gives pearls, stickers, and candy as rewards for good behavior and following directions, and the kids really enjoy and look forward to it. It helps teach kids that when they do well, they earn a reward, and when they don’t, they can try again next time. It reinforces positive behavior in a simple, encouraging way.

I also love how her classes focus on just one group at a time. It allows the kids to learn more and stay focused on their gymnastics skills, unlike other gyms that run multiple classes at once, which can be distracting.

She positively motivates the kids, especially when she knows they’re capable of even more. She has been a fantastic coach to my daughter for almost two years now. She even does cute, thoughtful things for the kids on holidays, even though she doesn’t have to. Her care and dedication really shine through in everything she does.

Heartbreaking and Unacceptable
My 6-year-old twins have been in this gymnastics class for about a month, and everything seemed fine until tonight. At the end of class, the coach gave every single child a lollipop — except my two. Watching my kids stand there, confused and embarrassed, while everyone else got one was absolutely heartbreaking.
This isn’t about candy. It’s about humiliation. My kids are only six years old, and they were singled out in front of the whole group. To make it worse, the coach actually said she told my son that if he didn’t “participate the way she wanted,” he wouldn’t get a lollipop, again I’m sorry — these are 6-year-olds in a class we pay for. Using candy to exclude and embarrass a child isn’t discipline; it’s emotional punishment.
And yes, my twins are the only Black children in the class. Whether intentional or not, the optics are painful and impossible to ignore. When I brought it up, the assistant coach got defensive instead of showing any empathy.
We came here for consistency and a positive environment — not for our kids to be shamed in front of their peers. No parent should ever have to watch their children’s faces fall like that. It was cruel, unnecessary, and deeply disappointing. Back to the YMCA for us, which by the way they don't handout anything but hi fives and words of encouragement at the end of class. Let us look at the reality of the situation. My kids May forget how to do a flip but they will never forget how they felt tonight in this class being singled out.

This is such a wonderful place for a child to learn gymnastics. My daughter went to Pink Pearl from age three to six, and she really enjoyed it. Ms. Margaryta is wonderful at making gymnastics fun and also at teaching kids to be hard-working and to face challenges. Mrs Margyrta is a phenomenal gymnastics coach. My 3 year old daughter loves attending her classes. She balances fun and discipline and we can definitely see the change from my daughter who shows more confidence and control. My daughter Celeste loves trying new sports and activities. She wanted to try gymnastics, & through several recommendations we ended up at Pink Pearl! I am so glad we did! Coach Margaryta quickly built Celeste’s endurance to complete an hour practice while helping her improve her strength, balance, & flexibility. We loved the 2nd floor observation area and the option to watch out of sight on the TV. Celeste trained for several months, & gained so much! She is going to try volleyball for a season, but if she wants to return to gymnastics, we will be back! I have no doubt that her training has greatly improved her athleticism for any sport she tries! I will first start off by saying the owner did accommodate my three kids for a trial class on a Monday at 4:30 - which she assured me there would be another teacher available to accommodate all the children present. I was happy this was an option because anyone with three kiddos that do sports knows its tough being in multiple places all the time.

Yes we did arrive 3 to 4 minuets late to which my children and I for our first time being there were not greeted pleasantly.
It was "put your shoes over there!", "she needs a hair tie!" and "here is a clip board!...." I was taken back by the abruptness of this and shook it off and said okay we were late I get it.

To address my daughter, she was not correcting you. My daughters have been in gymnastics for over a year and are excited about what they learn you may have mistaken correction for trying to gain knowledge of other terms that are used for similar skills being used. For you to correct my child like a gymnastics boarding school instructor with belittlement and rude manner for children is very discomforting. Especially as it continued with not only my child but other children in the room, who weren't allowed to talk.

With all this said to add yes my husband wasn't at the trial class but did speak with the owner over the phone to which my point was made. I think the reply is a justification and excuse to control the outcome of the conversation with the owner.

Parents take this as food for thought, we have taken our children to many trial classes over the years and the rude/belittling environment I experienced is not for my children. So as with every trial class in any environment, protect and advocate for your child (children).

PARENTS CAUTION ⚠️
I took my children for a trial class here, and I could only tolerate fewer than 10 minutes of class time. I removed my kids because of rapid fire correction and tense atmosphere. Please consider observing on the mat with your child. We respect discipline, but it didn't feel comfortable. Thanks for reading.

My daughter began gymnastics at Pink Pearl in the fall of 2022. The progress she has made in such a short period of time is tremendous. I absolutely loved Pink Pearl!!

My daughter came here for a trial and loved the place. The owner is a Ukrainian woman who is very nice. I believe her husband helps the kids to train.

I like how they are very serious and although the kids have fun no monkey business. If your child comes here you can be assured that your kids will get an excellent workout/exercise.

They do a lot of ground work more than anything else it seems. (However keep in mind my daughter only did the one day free trail)

I loved how there is an excellent observation floor for parents. Many gyms are lacking in this. Water breaks are given. They have all equipment but not too much variety. Not as much as some other gyms. They only have two bars. My daughter loves the bars so this was the only setback which resulted in us not signing up.

On the wall there are magazine articles of when the owner competed in the European gymnastics Olympics! She’s very talented. All her certifications are on the wall as well and nice to see.

Prices for this gym are very comparable to other local gyms. Classes are from an hour up to two. They also offer adult gymnastics classes.

I like how she has a diffuser there with essential oils but those with allergies should be aware of this. The only other negative was that you must buy a uniform for $40 if u wish to continue with the classes. That isn’t a big deal it’s only forty but it’s nice that I don’t have to worry of uniforms. My daughter is not a fan of pink. I think the outfit is blue and pink.

However this is a great place, fun workout. I would highly recommend this place!

My daughter has been with Pink Pearls for over a year now. She started when she was 3 and still loves going to class. Coach Margaryta and Coach Tim are the most kind and loving coaches. Their coaching style is exactly what I wanted for my daughter; perfect balance of discipline, nuture, and most of all, giving the kids a place to have fun! Within the year, I have seen my daughter improve on her coordination skills, motor skills, listening and concentration skills, and flexibility. Coach Margaryta is patient with all her students, gives each student the opportunity to grow, provides a safe environment for the kids, and with her extensive knowledge I cant imagine letting anyone else coach my daughter. Apart from the wonderful qualities of Coach Margaryta, the Pink Pearls as a company is also worth mentioning. Tuition is very reasonable and at face value, there is no guessing how much you would pay and no hidden fees. For any reason you miss class, Coach will allow you to have a make up day so you do get your hours back. I could not ask for a more honest and professional gym other than Pink Pearls. I cant wait to see what's in store for my daughter in the years coming! If you are looking for a fun, loving and professional gym for your daughter or son, Pink Pearls is the place!

By far the best gymnastics gym we've been too. My daughter has been attending pink pearl for over a year and the progress she has made is truly amazing. Pink Pearl offers strong, technical gymnastics instruction in a positive learning environment. Students learn skills to mastery before moving on to new skills. The teacher and her husband are very patience, professional, and they care about each child there,. They have a heart for kids and a love for Gymnastics. The day I bought my daughter we feel in love with the place. Margaryta at Pink Pearl is the only coach in the area willing to let adults over age 18 continue to learn and train in gymnastics, and after just one lesson, I AM HOOKED. She was patient and humorous in her coaching, the workout was great, and I learned so much in just a single class. Felt like a kid again, and will absolutely be a dedicated customer. Words can't describe how delighted I am with the opportunity Pink Pearl offers. Adults can be gymnasts too! Perhaps none of us are going to the Olympics...and we're grown adults with jobs, families, mortgages and responsibilities, but we're not dead! do not go here, I will not bring my child back here. Extremely unprofessional. My daughter has allergies, and margarita told us to leave because another parent complained about my child coughing. && the parent who complained her child coughed in my daughters face 10 mins before I was approached, but Margarita said “she coughed only once”. We did a temp check coming in (no fevers), and I explained my daughter has been cleared by her pcp, and I said I could get a doctors note. She said we can’t return until her cough is gone which like I said she has ALLERGIES. And the pollen has been high in our area. Mind you the seating area is SMALL! Not even spaced 6ft apart, and they’re worried about a cough! Oh and my child was the only one wearing a mask. Absolutely disgusted of this place, and how they made my daughter feel. Definitely not going to treat my daughter different because that other person “coughed once”.

My stepdaughter has been in Pink Pearl for a little more than a year now and absolutely loves it! As our time with Pink Pearl comes to an end, we can now reflect on the year and a half our girls have spent there. What attracted us as a family who moves often was the fact that you pay month to month. We then saw that our girls would have the same coach(s) weekly, and we appreciated the consistency. Our girls came in not knowing any gymnastics. They leave with such knowledge and skill, I am confident that they will shine wherever their next gym may be. Ms. Margaryta is a compassionate coach. My two daughters started taking classes here a year and a half ago at ages 6 and 4. They love every class and look forward to it as the best part of their week. I will forever be a voice for my child. Pink Pearl Gymnastics in Virginia Beach will never get another dollar from my household. Hello, I’m the father of Malia and I would like to express my concern of discomfort. Yes, mom and I have noticed a great difference in Malia’s behavior at gymnastics. We all agree on that. However, since Malia’s been attending Pink Pearl I notice our child does not get the hands-on corrections like the other patrons. The prime example is today. While Malia was on the high beam, she froze up and was frightened. I found it VERY unprofessional of Ms. Margarita’s actions. She slammed the small beam on the floor then told her she should be with the smaller kids and walked away. That's very alarming to insult and humiliate a child like that. She’s only 5 years old. Instead of seeing what was wrong, she was belittled. Children at that age are just starting to build self-esteem and confidence up. I found it unpleasant to witness that. I have seen kids much worse than Malia there and still receive a professional correcting. Malia was completely scared. The God-given feeling of fear took over. Her body was limped and knees buckling. She was completely scared. In the car, she just broke down. She was terrified. Even the two other parents that were upstairs looked puzzled by the open display of annoyance showed towards Malia. I feel that situation should have been handled completely differently. The reason I did not address it there was due to the disingenuous smiles, feeling, and atmosphere created there. I personally do not feel welcomed there.

My daughter has been to 4 classes now. She absolutely loves it, she is so excited every Saturday morning when she wakes up because she knows she gets to go to her gymnastics class. Ms Margaryta & Mr Tim are great! So good with the kids. My daughter is shy and scared to do things she think might hurt her so that’s why I looked into this class and I’m glad we did! My daughter has truly enjoyed her time at Pink Pearl. She has been doing gymnastics here for almost 3 years and we have loved it. She has learned and grown so much. I am so glad that we found Pink Pearl! I couldn't have asked for a better teacher.

Both my daughters spent 2 wonderful years at Pink Pearl Gym. They did great progress. The team is great too. I warmly recommend Pink Pearl. I hope we will find something just as good in our new location.

We could not have asked for a better gymnastics school for our daughter to attend. The staff is so friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Margarita and Tim are invested in each and every child that walks in the door. I highly recommend this school!

Pink Pearl is great for boys and girls alike and is open to all ages; my 9 year old son has really grown and learned so much over the past 1.5 years at this studio. The owner and all of the teachers are very involved, hands-on, and dedicated to the success of each student. They give instruction on each child's level, but also push for greatness. They encourage positive attitudes, hard work, teamwork, and respect for yourself and others. We love Pink Pearl Gymnastics!

I had two children, a boy and a girl, in this school, and it was great. They both developed well, had good training, and enjoyed their experience. All the coaches are great. A good place to send young children for a good introduction to gymnastics, where they will not feel overwhelmed or overlooked as may be the case in some of the larger gymnastic facilities.

Excellent school with highly experienced coaches that convey not only gymnastics, but also discipline and respect for others. My daughter liked Pink Pearls a lot because she could move around and release energy with fun music playing in the background. Pink pearl is an amazing gymnastics facility where your child will truly learn the sport and progress. My daughter has been attending for a little over a year now and has improved drastically. The head instructor (Mrs.Margaryta) and co instructors (Ms.Jen and Mr.Tim) are amazing with the kids. Nothing is given out in this gym like so many other sports. The kids truly work hard and perfect there skill and get rewarded for their accomplishments. All coaches are caring and attentive to each student and push them to their full potential. If you want your child in gymnastics, Pink Pearl is where you want them to be.

THIS GYM IS AWESOME!!!!!

My little girl loves it. We started her here last summer and she has excelled in everything Mrs. Margaryta teaches her. Its very family oriented, the girls love coming and they are being trained by experts. Sending my daughter to this gym has been one of the best decisions my husband and I have made. Not only is she learning how to be great in gymnastics but she's also learning patience, endurance, determination and team work. I'm looking forward to this coming years training for my 5 year old :)
