I love coming here and I am always comfortable. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. The machines are always in working order and we just had the new machines added. I dropped my stars down to 4 because the stand up tanning bed bulbs are blown out a lot. Up to 7 at a time. If they were changed out routinely it would be back to 5 stars.

The time of the day that I'm at this gym contributes to my main issue there. It's often crowded and there are many times you have to wait for a particular machine. This could be alleviated greatly by adding more Smith machines.

I have been coming to this plant fitness since they have opened. I usually workout at night. I walk into to locker area and there are 2 females in the bathroom making out and they have food everywhere in locker room and it stinks so bad in there and they do this every night. If I have to continue to walk into a locker room like that I will not be coming back to this plant fitness. I have always enjoyed working out at this location never had an issue. The employees that work there should not have to clean that nasty mess up or have to deal with that.

Honestly, one of the better Planet Fitness locations that I’ve been to. On the other hand, the machines remain broke for several years (I’ve been a member since May of 2016). The staff is friendly but are too laid back and do not enforce Planet Fitness Guidelines. Also, the free membership for teens should come with a training course, mobile/written test for the safety of other customers, or more parental and/or staff supervision. Given that the teen summer membership is 13-19 is a bit too broad because when I joined you had to be 16 to even workout by yourself. For instance, I have seen a few younger teenagers over the years break several machines that are never fixed. I believe that these younger teens just need a personal trainer, parent, and/or staff member to assist them at least the first time that they visit.Overall, I always enjoy my experience at this location and will continue to be a loyal customer. Thanks for providing a healthy outlet for the Martinsville community!

Another PF that sets the standard. Staff are great choices for employees. Facility was as spotless as possible. Equipment was well maintained and guid rails properly cleaned and lubricated. Temperature felt a perfect 68-70 with BAFs at about 40%, providing a perfect breeze for adequate training.

Love the Martinsville location. Staff members are accommodating and laid back (which I like).
I love the message chairs. The feature for the legs is particularly great because I sometimes have swelling in my ankles and it helps tremendously.
It would be great if the location had the collagen-producing machine. Also would be great if classes were offered. I like a class setting.

I am enjoying my membership with the Martinsville, Virginia location. The staff is very friendly, the sanitation practices are excellent and they offer a wide choice of equipment. The only recommendation that I have is an off the floor fitness table to do stretches. I have knee problems and even with knee repair, it is difficult to get up from a low spot. I highly recommend Martinsville Planet Fitness.

I love our Planet Fitness here in Martinsville! I am do glad I joined, and am looking forward to seeing results from going several days a week.

They have tons of equipment to work every muscle group as well as a lot of cardio machines to choose from. There is plenty of room, and the environment is as relaxing as I can imagine a gym can get. I find it's extremely easy to focus on my workouts and breathing because everyone there is doing their own thing and not staring at each other, recording anyone, or making comments about other members.

I also adore the color scheme. The purple equipment is so cool. And then they have the dedicated areas with yellow equipment. It all really stands out and looks actually fun to use. The equipment is inviting!

Oh, and they have a water fountain that has a water dispenser for bottles, and their locker rooms are beautiful with everything you need pre and post workout. The entire place is just very much aesthetically pleasing, as well as equipped with high quality workout machines.

The staff is also very quiet, respected, and helpful. I am thoroughly pleased!

I love this gym!! I've always felt embarrassed to go to the gym because I'm obese. The staff is very nice and I really feel that I'm not being judged or even looked at. All the equipment is super easy to use with picture and sometimes written instructions on how to use. I've started a new journey with my weight and am seeing progress daily. Great place; DO NOT GET THE CONTRACT due to inflation with my job PF wouldnt even compromise on my payments to down grade or canel my membership, I had the Black card wanted the $10 because low work. Talked with Assist management at the Martinsville VA location and he stated he couldn't help and I explained my issues about my job, not working regularly. I paid the annual fee $39 then, I and paid the cancelation fee $58 then he told I would be charges $23 after I canceled . Lest then a month PF received $120. I will not be returning I'll go to Ymca I can pay daily

Love it here! I've had memberships at other gyms in the past but this one is my favorite! Even when traveling for work, other PFs aren't quite the same. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. The layout is great and there's plenty of equipment to cover busy times. Just wish they opened a little earlier on the weekend....I'm an early riser. :)
