If I could give negative stars I would. DO NOT JOIN HERE!! First time coming to this location with the intent of signing for 1 year. As the day got closer I spoke with the manager 3-4 different times throughout the month to inform my decision to cancel. Not only did the manager give me false information leading me to pay extra to cancel, but when I stated that she (manager) caused me to have to pay to leave, she gave a “oh well” attitude. I never dealt with such negative and poor attitude before, and to not take any accountability is insulting

Wish I could give 1 star, major issue with front desk staff especially the manager on duty. I see from past reviews how bad customer service has been here and found out today how unprofessional this gym continues to be. If you need to cancel your membership try to come in on a day that has a more professional competent manager. For someone who is “in charge” to have such a lazy, uncaring, relaxed attitude over a mistake they made along with misinformation they gave is pitiful. It shouldn’t take 4 different attempts to come in to try to cancel a membership and then be told “oh well” when they misinformed us through the whole thing. I’m sure they’re gonna explain it differently to save themselves. This review isn’t for the owner but more for the people who come to see how difficult to it is to leave this place. The planet fitness on Holland Road is great!!! The staff is always friendly, especially Anna and Dave. They’re always in a great mood are very helpful with any questions I ever have. It’s employees like that who really make a difference.

The facilities are always clean. There is a great selection of exercise machines and free weights to choose from. And if you get a black card membership, the massage chairs and hydro beds are a wonderful way to relax and unwind or loosen up after a workout. This planet fitness is my home away from home. Thanks to everyone that works there. 😁

My wife was feeling down today so I suggested she go do her favorite thing and that is to tan, when she arrived the woman at the front desk got her scanned in but informed her she hit the wrong buttons and it she put a 30 mins delay my wife informed her that she couldn’t wait and instead of calling for a manager she walked away and began assisting other people and once she was done told my wife there was nothing she could do and she wouldn’t be able to tan never once offered to get a manager or anything

This gym is always dirty, no matter what time of the day I go. Morning, midday, evening, midnight — dirty. It’s like the cleaning they do is just maintaining the same level of dirtiness. It need a deep clean, for real. Kaya was the kindest employee I’ve ever encountered at this PF. Not saying others aren’t kind, but I haven’t experienced it. She was genuinely so kind and cleaned the whole time I was in the gym - which was, A LOT. She is giving this review a whole extra star, cause it would just naturally be 1. If it wasn’t 24hrs, I’d skip this location entirely.

Each time my family and myself come to this location, it’s always a pleasant experience. This evening, in particular, I wanted to take a moment to mention two particular employees that were there this evening, by the names of Kay and Alex, I believe. As my son and I were leaving after our workout, my son began to feel faint and nearly passed out. I turned him back around, went back into the gym, and immediately, Kay and Alex went into action and did everything they could to be of assistance to help. They were both compassionate and attentive and I couldn’t be more appreciative. Kudos to Kay and Alex! More people should aim to be as kind.

This gym is really good. It’s one of the few 24 facilities in our area. It has an abundance of cardio equipment and clean facilities. It recently got renovated. The on site showers have the new tile inside and the placement of the shower head seems a little odd for a tall person but we can work around that. The rowing machines are those water spinner kind which I’m not a fan of but everything else is amazing. If you’re a before work workout person the showers are available and clean. I would recommend this gym.

I come to this Planet Fitness often but tonight was the first time I've come since they remodeled it. The lady behind the counter was being rude in front of my guest saying that my guest couldn't use the hydromassage chair but she'll let it slide tonight. I told her that anytime I've come, no one has ever given me any issues... she stated that Planet Fitness has stricter rules now. Why do I pay for a black card membership to have guests if we can't enjoy the benefits? That's absurd. I will not be coming to this location again.

Typical PF, but there is a lot of equipment that is super wobbly. After all the rearranging and renovation, how has no one noticed or addresses it. Also, why no ESPN? Plenty of murder shows and home renovation junk. But you’d think a gym of all places would have at least one of their 20 tvs showing sports. It’s just weird. Then there are so many people that aren’t wiping down the equipment and leaving their weights on.

I like this gym. Only thing I'd suggest is to switch out the handle covers for new ones or a replacement the one that's all bunched up on the arm machine in front of the bike section & add childcare for stay at home moms. You'd get more business if you included childcare with the membership

before the past two months, I would’ve waited this place for stars, since I’ve been coming here for almost 3 years. Recently, I got a new membership with a different gym and I tried to cancel my membership at planet fitness. You have to do those things in person though which is a hassle, however I did go in person. Unfortunately, even after I canceled my membership, I kept getting monthly bills taken out and then finally today I got a $40 yearly fee to a gym I had not been at in three months. Unfortunately, customer service cannot get me my refund only the members In “club “can. And the member there thought I didn’t deserve my refund since I didn’t know the name of the person who helped me . Needless to say very frustrated and still want my money back.

Minus one star because canceling after a move when you can't get there is a tough endeavor but after a phone call with a understanding representative we got it done. I've been coming to this planet fitness for a year now mostly at night. Ervin, Sam ,and and Zack are wonderful employeesn really put my experience over the top. Speaking with Zack he suggested that I see the personal trainer in the morning to elevate my workout and I did. Christina led me through The stretch class where I stretch muscles I didn't even know I had. Then afterwards motivated me through the 360 burn. My training session with Christina went excellent. I've had several training sessions with several trainers before but her knowledge and expertise is unparalleled. The fact that they can clearly see there members not sign in, due to what ever issues they are having in thier personal life, for example me and health issues, they will continue to charge your card, then tell you, you have to pay extra to cancel?? Myself and a group of my friends decided to visit this location to workout. One of the ladies I was with was helping us correct our form and one of the attendants decided to come over to say we cannot have outside training. There were several groups of people working out but he decided to bother us. He came over several times interrupting our session for nothing looking to pick. Ndoro was very rude unprofessional and smelled like marijuana and looked to be high. His eyes were low and red. As we were leaving him and two other employees were at the front desk discussing our group and found the situation as a joke. He was arguing with another one of my friends with a gym full of people. This is not my home gym and because of Ndoro’s behavior that will be my last time visiting the Holland Rd location. Seriously considering canceling my membership.

They are below minimum wage workers who just want to squeeze money out of people for their corporation. This gym is built just to get money from people, no heavy weights, rigged machine weights that are designed to make you think that you are lifting more, and no free weight section to do any actual weight lifting. I like planet fitness. The only complaint I have is that this company lacks offering childcare for mom's to be able to come enjoy a good workout while knowing her kids are safe only steps away. Especially for families who move to the gym location knowing no one in the area yet to hire for childcare.

More would join this establishment if they provided safe childcare to make this establishment family friendly.
Especially in the
homeschooling generation we live in today & during the summer months when school is out & kids are home. Often mom's have to quit going during the summer months because she has kids at home & no one else to help her with them so she can workout.

The equipment is good & lots to select from. But lacking offering childcare. I hope this changes.
But for now I have to look for another gym. One that does offer childcare so I can get back to going to the gym. Let me know if you ever add childcare & I'd be happy to rejoin.

We have been going here since opened and love it. Such a great deal for only $10 month...and get to go to any of them anywhere, so when we go out of state we can still. It's only another 10 month for free guests and massage beds and tanning, too.
