I left PF because of this gym specifically, a guy in a blue van would wait in the parking lot and harass me, follow me around inside the gym, and also some teens were coming in at the same time as me, following me and making fun of me and standing around talking about my workouts. I didn't get any help from the staff and one of the staff guys was obsessed with flirting and made me uncomfortable. Also the locker rooms are dark and it feels sinister, I never once showered there and would just go straight home. Wolf whistles, catcalling, being followed, plus it's a sketchy looking parking lot with a whole half being very dark...yea I'm much happier at another gym lol.

Tried to find a way to contact you but no dice.

You have a leak in your furthest faucet in the rear at your laskin rd. Location in Virginia Beach.

Ive notified the staff multiple times and I guess you guys cant find a good plumber or need a new faucet.

I have walked in multiple times and noticed the water pouring into the sink with nobody around. Ever when you try to stop it by pushing the handle down (hard) it continues to leak.

Well what I liked first about Planet Fitness was the Black card! I like that I can bring friends with me when I work out! Second I love the staff that work there. They are so nice and very helpful! Especially Tae!!! He has been a great motivator and has inspired me to do my best. I look forward to his encouraging words an knowledge of the equipment! A very helpful inspiration to me! I needed it to get me going on a regular!!! :)

It doesn’t say in the terms and conditions that two people can’t use the tanning bed off one black card (it says you can bring a guest with you if using the black card but never said you can’t use the tanning bed as a guest. I am disappointed in the customer service here.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

This was and is my first planet fitness. This gym is really good. An abundance of cardio equipment. This gym features the ascent and standard ellipticals. The spacing is good if you don’t like people on top of you when you’re working out or waiting for machines. I get ready here before work and never run into any issues. The only minor downside is it is not 24 hours, but the 5am open on Monday and 7-7 weekend schedule is just something to watch if you’re an early riser. The staff is probably the friendliest here relative to the others in the area (but they’re all really friendly overall). I would recommend this gym.

I’m not from the area (Long Island, NY) but I am vacationing in VB this summer. This planet is by far the best location I’ve ever been to, and we have a lot up in New York. (Or maybe NY is just a dump). The place is huge, a ton of available equipment, clean, and never crowded. PF@VB is awesome!

This Planet Fitness blew me away!!!! I've tried a PF membership twice in the past, and both facilities were.. not the best. This one had me raving to my friends back home and coworkers. I chose to try again because it was the closest and most affordable, and it was a great decision!! The building is large, very clean, with a great variety of machines. Lots of TVs with different channels (which help during cardio), and very welcoming and friendly staff. The locker rooms were huge, very clean/smelled nice, visually appealing, and well stocked. Awesome gym and staff!!!!!

Well maintained gym with excellent equipment spaced far apart, in a sketchy seeming older mall. Very clean and modern inside. Multiple machines of all types, all working. Staff was pleasant and helpful to out-of-town guests. We will be coming back often this vacation.

What an odd experience. The location is suspect at best. Older run down strip plaza with lots of shady acting people. I am a black card member and have visited twice in the last month when I was in town. Both times when I walked in there was nobody at the counter so I just scanned myself in. A positive note is this gym was nearly empty both time I came, and it’s about as large of a PF I have ever been to. The negative is one wonders why a PF is so empty. The men’s locker room on both occasion was so so when it comes to cleanliness. The most recent visit the locker smelled something terrible. It was a combination of feet and mold. This location is just flat out odd.

The manager that is bald don’t know his name wanted stress which one, only greets people he wants to. Not good I have said hi and bye have a good day he has said nothing then when a man says anything then he does.
The new employs don’t take knowledge of anyone. No greeting just laughing and talking to each other. No paper towels in one of the dispensers. Which employee standing around why isn’t that filled. Very disappointed. The only employee I would say is very nice and always greets is the Asian looking dude. Not sure on his name

I worked out here 1x with a friend. I never felt safe in this shopping center. Last night a friend's car got broken into in their parking lot. 5 windows broken, purse stolen. I see people sleeping in cars in this shopping center. Does not seem safe.

So I’ve been a member for a few years now, I stopped coming to this location because of the previous management. She definitely ran it into the ground.

Now under the current management and staff, we have been back for a couple of months and clearly shows a complete 180 from what it was. Outstanding job to the current manager, he does run a tight ship. The staff is super friendly and down to earth. There is always someone cleaning, always filling stations, inspecting equipment. Just yesterday 7/17 their mobile tech was there fixing equipment and keeping them up to standards. Really impressed with current manager and staff.

So I see a few complaints about the water fountains. Yes they were out commission for weeks. What people do not understand is that at the moment, logistics for parts, shipping and turn around is in a huge bind all over the place. I do not think they deliberately “turn off” water to sell their own, people who think that seem pretty narrow minded. Does it happen, sure. Not here currently, in the past yes I would lean towards agreeing.

Through other business connections I hear 95% of the staff is leaving. Some to assume a higher role in the company and some to pursue their dreams and find their way elsewhere. Well deserved and I wish them luck if this is a concrete statement I was told. If so I hope it does not fall into the wrong hands again.

People will be people…just would like to smack the ones hogging up 3-4 machines or camping at one while chatting it up on their phones, you know the ones that do 3 reps and 10 minutes of phone time in between reps….anywho, they’re every where.

I e been going to this location for over 5 years and last few months water fountains are out of order.
I understand that it's a recession and such but I strongly believe this is the wrong way to increase a bottom line by forcing your customers to buy water from you. I'm disgusted by your idea of good management and looking for alternatives where I'm treated like a valuable customer. Will be taking all of my friends with me. I know probably noone cares about this comment since they resort to such a low quality behavior as turning of water fountains

This company is terrible. They tried to make me keep my membership after telling them I wasn’t interested in keeping the service. They also tried to keep taking funds out of my account after telling them I wanted to cancel. They made a huge deal out of simply canceling and wanted me to go through this long process before canceling so they could still debit my account. Do. Not I repeat Do Not get a membership here.

I canceled my membership last week and changed my mind, I called customer service two times and both representatives told me I have 30 days to reinstate my membership I would just have to go to my home gym and get that process started, first trip none of the employees knew how to do it, so they told me to come back which I did, when I came back, they had the manager on the phone and he said that they couldn’t reinstate it they would have to start my membership all over again like it was a new one so apparently this location does not go along with the company’s policies. I would think they would want a returning customer versus giving them a hard time so here I come Onelife!

I had A Black membership which I never used. I called to cancel in Dec. I was informed I had to wait until April. ( NO contract is advertised on radio) I called again inJan. I emailed through the app ,I received no response back. I called a 3rd time, I was told I had to come in and sign at the location. I said no way. I requested an email or fax. I was told neither was available..I went to Norfolk, front desk girl rude and said I couldnt sign any form .My signature was required on the credit card pad for a buyout of my contract.i refused. I requested a printout of my contract. It took her 15 minutes to print it out bewteen rolling her own legs and conversing with another clerk about my request and snikering.

My printout was unreadable, no signature, no months /terms listed. So I write a cancelation letter and delivered it to the Laskin Road location. Again, they attempted to said I had to sign the pad.I refused.
Seems Ballys timeshares live on.Beware of fraudulent contracts. Apathy kills Barneys as does front desk personnel being rude at sister locations.

Every visit is always a great time. Even during what seems to be the busiest of times, I am able to comfortably get to the machines I need, work out efficiently and make new acquaintances, and am always greeted by a warm hospitable crew no matter what location! Some have even become familiar with me and vice versa. They know my routine and can count on me to frequent the black card spa prior to my departure. It's the details that count for me.
