As I was walking out of the front door at 10:00 p.m. The front desk employee turned on the alarm system and blasted the gym with loud noise for a good 10 seconds 🚨

When I asked him if this was necessary he said that it was a corporate policy. As an individual with history of anxiety disorder and panic attacks this affected me to a great deal as it was an unexpected sensory overload.

I was never warned about these policies when signing up for my membership. Very disappointing.

I really like everything about this gym - including the machine layout and cool staff. The two stars are for the men's locker room, which is routinely neglected. Only 1-2 showers have hot water on any given day, which causes all kinds of problems when it's busy, including having to use the handicap shower, something we should not have to do to take a hot shower. One of the showers has had the knob to turn it on removed for WEEKS. One of the two bathrooms has been out of the order for quite some time. It's really unfortunate how neglected the men's locker room is, especially over such bare minimum issues like functional showers and bathrooms.

I can’t say enough good things about this gym, the facility is always spotless, the staff are incredibly kind and go out of their way to help you, the assortment of equipment is great, and I never have to wait for a machine. I've been coming here since the place opened pretty much, and it feels like the staff they used to have were much, much better. The place is plenty clean, I do appreciate that. The other gym goers are friendly and don't try to bother anyone. But most of the staff, mostly the younger ones seem completely disengaged and feel like they're just phoning it in. It didn't used to be like this. They're like slow moving zombies that resent people just for showing up. Monika and the overnight lady are the best though

I've been going to Planet Fitness as a guest for a while now, and I must say—I'm genuinely impressed. This gym is clean, well-maintained, and has everything you need for a solid workout, whether you're a beginner or someone with experience in fitness.

I like it here a lot.

I travel and work often, so it's unfortunate that weekend hours are pretty short. I also wonder how the facility can get people to actually clean up after they use the equipment; it's really gross when a lot of people don't seem to. Would be great if there was a bit more privacy in the bathroom, particularly the showers.

The staff are great, facilities are clean, the weekday 24/5 is useful, and competitive pricing. Highly recommend.

It's a good place for a workout, particularly if the objective lies with fitness rather than body building. The monthly fees are quite competitive compared to other fitness facilities in this area. The insufficient amount of stretching and warm up space is the one minor complaint that I have.

I do recommend the owner walks nextdoor to 5 below and get some full length mirrors for the tan rooms.
Shoot id buy 1 if you hang it.
I highly recommend planet fitness.
I do see the issue with them being owned separately. If I want to work out at another location and use my black card privileges. I paid for. Sorry it wasn't to that location. Please don't make me feel like a outsider when I want to tan.

This place still has the misleading hours printed everywhere, they're only 24 hours 3 days a week.

I did talk to a representative who admitted that the hours are misleading, and while I appreciate someone simply being honest about it, it's frustrating that after a couple of years, they still aren't open late on the weekends.

the time I actually want to work out late, is when I don't have to be up early the next morning, which for most people means the weekends.

I cannot say enough, good things about Planet Fitness in Warrenton , Virginia. The staff is always so friendly, the gym is immaculately clean, and everyone, members included, take pride in the equipment. I’m visiting from Canada and in town for a week, and I can't go that long without the gym! Amber and Declan at Planet Fitness in Warrenton were absolutely incredible. I had issues with my card and bank account being declined while trying to set up a subscription, but they went above and beyond, spending over 30 minutes helping me. They were so supportive and patient the entire time, and they made sure I had an account before I left. Really grateful for their help—great customer service!

This is a great location all around, HOWEVER I really wish they would transition to 24/7. There have been times where are people sitting in the parking lot waiting to get in on Mondays, including myself. Understandably there needs to be staff, payroll concerns, etc. but I would hope some analysis of their volumes of the days they aren't open 24/7 and reconsider their hours of operation.

I joined this planet fitness being told I would pay $10 per month no strings attached cancel anytime. That was a complete lie!!! When I went to cancel yesterday they said I signed a contract and charged me $58 to cancel when I never even was emailed a contract in the first place because they improperly put in both my email and phone number. I had to be on the phone for 2 hours to even get in contact with the manager and then was told they would call me back. The manager called me today and was extremely unhelpful and pretty much blamed the mistakes that they made when signing me up on me and wouldn’t reimburse the $58 they charged me. My family will now also be cancelling all of their memberships with them to join a gym that sticks to their word and advertising of no commitments or extra fees.

I've been a gym member of numerous gyms over the last 20+ years, ranging from Pentagon Officer's Gym, Olympus, Golds, One Life and now Planet Fitness (PF). PF is probably the cleanest and the equipment is well spaced and positioned. Locker rooms are very clean and spacious.
The only gripe I have with PF is the canned music blasting from one end of the gym to the other. It's not the type of music -- it's the volume level. It is very distracting and depending on where you are in the gym, it requires one to raise the voice to be heard.

If management would look around, they would see that virtually everyone in the gym has earbuds on. The people that want to listen to music while working out bring it with them. I tend to workout 6-7 a.m. and I definitely do not want to listen to music at that time of day.

We are in the 21st century and it is no longer necessary to play music in a gym and force the members that don't want it to be forced to endure the sound while in the gym.

Suggest management consider getting with current technology and turn the music down so that it is in the background. It is not necessary to entertain members. The 24/7 music thing is a legacy product from decades ago - not necessary now. Members will bring their tunes with them if they want music.

If they fix this, I'd give them a 5 star rating.!
