Overall I have had a great experience here. I go daily and this location seems to have a great group of people on staff. Always friendly and helpful. The location is typically very clean and kept up well. The only complaint I would say I have is that some machines (matrix machines specicially) enough that it is common to see many machines down and it seems to take a while for them to get fixed.

Been coming here quite awhile but tonight is what proved to me that not only is it an amazing gym with clean equipment, but the employees and even the regulars go above and beyond to ensure that everyone is safe. I had a bit of a scary situation today involving an older gentleman and one of the regular gym guys and the staff ensured that the situation did not escalate and that it was shut down. I didn't even have to ask for help, they recognized the situation and made sure I was safe. Special shoutout to Colby, Becca, and Maddie! Yall are amazing and are why I will always choose Planet Fitness!!

My wife took my son to get a membership here. He's only 14 and he doesn't want to go anymore, so my wife decided to go because she pays the membership bill. Well they won't let her in and won't let her switch the membership.They just want the cancellation fee. There are better gyms in the area I would stay clear from the Waynesboro Planet fitness. Will be contacting B.B.B with the complaint.

My first time there, I saw a guy get crushed to death... amd then I came back two weeks later and he was back under the weights again and this time to my surprise he got crushed again... my point is, don't belive everything you read... the guy was made up and it was a hypothetical crushing death... no one was injured... and the place was full of nice people and all the machines were not out of service... just two... the only two which they don't have duplicates... it's ironic... all I'm trying to say is, this is a safe space for all types of people and non people to train and be physically active... the number of people over the ages of 55 I see here constantly motivate me to keep coming and stay healthy... the staff are great...the atmosphere wonderful... the music, well, it's something... not good not bad... it's just something... so, I hope you took my advice and you control show love to this location and please if you see that hypothetical guy who got crushed, tell him to keep trying harder.

The age of this gym is starting to show with roof leaks, flooring bubbling, loose tiles, and the water bottle station/fountain that's busted looking and was well over a million bottles filled before the counter bugged out. I go here 5 days a week and will continue to, but I hope they get a remodel soon. And maybe do something about the dust in the ceiling 🤢 overall Becca and Colby do a great job with what they have, it's hard to keep things 100% with high turnover. PF give this location some love!

Staff is friendly, but absent from the desk A LOT. Sometimes they are either hanging out at the desk for a while (which isn't bad), but most times they are MIA. You can stand there for easily 20-30 minutes with no one in sight to even buy a drink from.

Just joined PF black this week. I purchased a camper in Lebanon PA, and plan on ministering to Hikers on the Appalachian Trail that is 2185 miles long going through 14 states from Georgia to Maine. I hiked the trail myself in 2013 and benefited by trail angels who helped me get into town.

Two leg machines and the chest press machine have been broken for over three weeks now. I ask the gym staff every few days on an update & they are profressional/but don't have an update.
Planet Fitness Corporate needs to fix the machines and support their staff. It's a busy gym and they're making plenty of money on membership fees.

I've been a member for two & a half months now. I've enjoyed the polite staff & clean facility. I will have to cancel my membership & find another gym if they can't maintain their equipment.

I always have a great experience at the planet fitness here in Waynesboro! The staff are the best. I went into labor at the gym with my water breaking while working out. The staff encouraged me my whole nine months working out and I got to bring in my baby today to introduce her to them! Our planet fitness baby. Best gym I have ever been. I am overweight and always felt not confortable at gyms. In this gym's environment I didn't feel that way. The staff are very helpfull, very nice to answer all my questions. I really recommend this unit in Waynesboro Virginia. Coming back for News Years partying. The experience of working out here is pretty good. Never had been too crowded and amenities are nice. However, I've had some account problems and the customer service representatives are unable to even contact the store for me. They try but the store themselves don't even pick up. That or can't. As a Black Card member, we get access to all gyms during OPEN hours, with a guest, wherever we are...well NOT HERE in Waynesboro. Not only do my girlfriend and I use PF as our gym, but because we travel sooo much it is at times our home (which is something they advertise, encourage and allow). We rushed to this location with 15 minutes to spare, to literally brush our teeth and take contacts out, and we're denied access. The hours stated they closed at 10. But at 945 we were NOT allowed in. Employees saw us try both sets of doors with zero acknowledgment. I am very let down and have spoke with corporate already. Because of our travels, we chose to continue on to Charlottesville and will just be there first thing in the morning. We are truly grateful for PF in general, but we do not appreciate paying for a service that isn't living up to what the advertise. As a side note, the facility did look nice from the window and was easily accessible.

My first visit to a gym in a while but I sucked it up and went on a Friday morning. Check in for the first time was almost painless. The club was clean, had lots of equipment and more visitor's than I would have liked. However, everyone was friendly, and really into their workouts and too busy to laugh at me which makes it an awesome club for me! My only complaint is that there isn't enough massage chairs. On the other hand, they have plenty of tanning beds and machine to get that perfect glow.

My wife and myself joined during a promotional event. We wanted to have a routine to meet our goals so we met with Colby to develop a program for both my wife and myself. He wanted to know our goals, our current exercise level and any health issues, as we began. We wanted a workout for both upper and lower body, and he demonstrated for us machines for both. Then allowed us to start our initial workout. Colby checked on us as we worked out and after we finished. As this being our first time at Planet Fitness, we were not intimidated at all we felt both comfortable and supported by the staff. We would recommend Planet Fitness to others.
