I was visiting from out of state and reached out about taking a couple classes. Laura and her staff were immediately so helpful and welcoming! I would absolutely return if I’m in the area again!

I love this Pure Barre studio! Both the instructors and clients are always so encouraging and supportive. I love how we celebrate each other's wins no matter where we're at! It's the little things that make this studio so special: the chalkboard with upcoming events and recognitions, the birthday board in back, the talks about stress and nutrition. Pure Barre has been such a positive part of my life - I feel supported the moment I arrive which this makes me want to pass these good vibes on to others in the community.

I was hesitant to give Pure Barre a try because I didn't think group exercise was "my thing" or that I'd be "good at it." A friend convinced me to try it, and after a few classes, I was totally hooked. This was nearly four years ago and it's now one of the best parts of my life. One of the things I love the most is that, while it is a group class, you have your own spot at the barre and you focus only on yourself and your own progress during class. Fun music is played during class and it's loud enough so it keeps you moving and focused! As a busy, working mom, it's the only place where I can totally get out of my head. If I let my mind start wandering or start thinking about my to-do list, I lose track of what I'm supposed to be doing. It's true mind-body connection! I also love that there are four different class formats so I can focus on full-body toning (Classic), endurance (Empower), strength (Define), and stretching/balance (Align). The instructors are always encouraging and knowledgable, meeting each member where they are in their fitness journey, and always available to answer questions and help you be your best self. The owner, Laura, and front desk "barre-tenders" are warm, welcoming, and make each member feel truly valued. While it's an amazing workout, what keeps me coming back is the inclusive, positive, diverse community of women (and a few men, too) who encourage and support one another. If you've ever thought of giving Pure Barre a try, please don't hesitate any longer. I promise, you won't regret it!

Not only do I love the class options, but all of the instructors are fantastic. Lots of energy and encouragement, each with their own personal style (and amazing playlists). It's obvious that everyone at Pure Barre Williamsburg cares about each person who comes to class, from knowing our names to gentle guidance. All of this fosters a great community, full of support.

When I first moved to Williamsburg, I saw a post on Facebook for a free class; I was way out of shape and had not exercised in over 28 years regularly. With some encouragement from some friends back in Indiana I took the plunge and tried a free class. Dani, Maddy and Jill were amazing at making me feel comfortable trying a class. Fast forward 10 months and I am a regular taking 4 or 5 classes a week! The barre community is amazing at encouraging each other and putting a smile on our face. Everyone is welcoming and positive; and we are all working to better ourselves! The instructors (Jill, Jojo, Maria, Nicole, and Jackie) are top notch and make classes so much more fun! I absolutely look forward to my workout every day! If you have not tried it head over to barre and see what you’re missing! Tucking our way to being stronger mentally and physically!

Pure Barre Williamsburg is an amazing place to spend your time working out, all because of their wonderful teachers! Their energy, positive reinforcement, friendliness, and willingness to support in any way possible is incomparable to any other place! I love one more than other and actually feel energized by their presence at 5:30am..they have helped push me past my own mental boundaries. I couldn't be more grateful for having PureBarre to start a new workout journey!
