Both my 2 year old and my 4 year old love Romp n' Roll, the place and the staff! We've been members for almost a year now and my kids still love going. It's great that they always make sure to clean the rooms/gym in between classes, and have the little ones use hand sanitizer before play time. There's a good variety of classes to keep the kids engaged. The staff are all friendly and kind. My little one even asks Elijah whenever he wants to go to Romp n' Roll.

We also hosted my son's 4th birthday here and it was an amazing experience. They made everything easy and the kids had so much fun. Camila was a great help with set up, and Elijah was an awesome instructor during the party. I would highly recommend families with young kids to check them out.

My grand daughter’s 3 year old birthday party was so wonderfully handled by the team at Romp n Roll. From the moment we got there to set up, the staff helped us decorate and sort through all the set up. We were able to focus on the guests and the fun the children were going to have. The gym and equipment and bathrooms are always clean and ready for the young ones. My grand kids love being greeted by the staff the moment they walk in. They are made to feel special all the time. The party guests were also greeted with kindness and respect. Our friends commented on the gym, equipment and games offered to the party goers. Thank you so much Romp n Roll. Our son has been going to Romp n Roll for over 6 months now. He loves it! We tried many other soft play areas, but we have stuck with Romp n Roll. It offers more than other places. My son loves the art time! He gets to do so many different creative activities. Another advantage of Romp n Roll is that it changes out the soft play equipment so my son is never bored. We’ve been coming since June after I saw an instagram ad, and are in love. I did the two trial classes before buying a 4 class/month membership. My son recently turned 2 and watching his growth the last five months has been so wonderful. We love the different class options, the instructors, and the different extra activities they offer like the parents morning out. In addition to the classes, we enjoy taking advantage of the open gym and open art times that come with the membership - great options for rainy days or when we just need a different scenery for a little. I’m so glad we found Romp n’ Roll!

We just had my daughter’s 3rd birthday party at Romp n’ Roll and it was absolutely perfect! Ella was amazing, so engaging, patient, and full of energy. Betsy is always wonderful with my kids, and it meant so much to see her there too.

We come to Romp n’ Roll 2–3 times a week and every class is a highlight of our week. The facility is always clean and welcoming, and the whole team including Kage, Krissy, Elijah, and everyone else is fantastic. We also love the owner, Illana — she’s so warm and involved, and it really shows in how the place is run.

I loved that I didn’t have to stress about a single thing for my daughter’s birthday. They handled everything from start to finish, and it was worth every penny. Highly recommend Romp n’ Roll for both everyday classes and parties!

We love this place! My daughter recently had her birthday party here and all the kids loved it. The parents were also very pleased with how the staff interacts with the kids and keeps them busy. The classes they provide weekly are also so fun, my daughter has told me she has so much fun - and she is 6. 10 stars if I could! We moved away from Virginia several months ago and this is still the #1 thing we miss. Our 17 month old still remembers all the songs, and if we even mention "Romp and Roll" she will start doing the hand motions to her favorite songs. She went there from 10 months to 15 months old, and it helped her with coordination while crawling, walking, and fun social interaction.
I was originally only going to have us join for the first month for something fun to do, but after the first class I knew i would never be able to cancel until we had to due to the move. Even when extended family came into town they always asked "can we take the baby to Romp& Roll?!".
And this location specifically is amazing. The owner was willing to work with our crazy travel schedule to still be able to use all our classes, and all the staff members knew our daughter by name when we walked in. We joke (but also are serious) about vacationing to Fairfax just to take our daughter to Romp & Roll again. We miss you team Romp & Roll Fairfax!

We love Romp n' Roll! We have brought our now three year old to romp n' Roll for a little over a year. He has the best time running, playing, and dancing. I can't say enough good things about Romp n' Roll! Their staff is engaging, their classes are well varied and suited for kids of all ages, and the facility itself is very well maintained.

My review is specifically for the birthday party that we hosted at Romp n' Roll for my 2 year old son. The staff was communicative from start to finish, from the moment that we booked until the end of the party. The two instructors, Elijah and Ella, were SO great with all of the kids and made my son feel so special. You can tell they love their job and were happy to be there. They were also incredibly organized and helpful throughout the party, making my life easier, where I could tend to our guests and enjoy the party myself.

The staff is always very friendly! When we come in, sitting at the front desk is Elijah who ALWAYS greets my daughter by name. The staff knows how to talk to kids and engage them with songs and sounds and understand that they’re working with toddlers and toddlers do toddler things. lol the classes are structured with room for kids to do their own thing. The facility is incredible. Very clean, colorful, well lit, tall ceilings. The classes are easy to schedule and I’m able to fit them around my kid’s nap schedule. It’s easily worth a 30 minute drive for us. My kid is a huge fan of the teacher Ella - who is always so sweet and dances along with the kids. It’s a great spot for kids to interact with peers, other friendly adults, and get out their energy!! I am looking forward to continuing to bring my kid there once kid #2 comes along since I’ll be able to babywear while she does her classes. The repetitive songs at the beginning and end of class are nice bookends for the kids and my kid loves singing the songs at home in excitement for going to “Rompy House”

The staff has always been wonderful with our little one and us, going out of their way to accommodate anything we needed. We chose to celebrate our son’s birthday at Romp n' Roll Fairfax because the venue was newly renovated, clean, and the perfect size (not too big and not too small) for our event. We had about 30 kids and 35 adults, and everyone felt very comfortable. Most importantly, they provide staff to help with setup, serve food to the kids, and run an entertainment program for the kids—so the adults were actually able to relax and enjoy themselves. The team was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. If you’re looking for privacy and peace of mind, this is the place!

My daughter has been going to this Romp n’ Roll since she was 15 months old, when this location first opened. She just turned 2 and “Rompy’s House” is her favorite place to be. I love how engaged the instructors are and how they make each kid feel so special. My daughter loves all of the physical activities plus all the art classes, and I love that the classes change and adapt as she gets older to continue to inspire her imagination and intellectual growth. My daughter does not go to daycare, so RnR is how she gets exposed to playing with others, and she’s already made some friends there. I honestly can’t recommend Romp n’ Roll enough!

My 4 yr old son Finn has been going to the Parents Day Out (PDO) program this summer & the growth & progress that he has made by being there these past few months is amazing! I’m a stay-at-home mom so when I saw that Romp n Roll had a drop off program, I was hoping that it would help with my son’s transition to preschool in the Fall (as previously we’ve only ever done Mommy & Me classes). My son struggles with changes in his routine so I didn’t initially know how he would respond. But everyone there, especially the owner Ms. Ilana, was super patient & understanding with Finn as he was definitely nervous about being dropped off in the beginning. He really bonded with Mr. Elijah there (almost immediately) & slowly started gaining more & more confidence & began to really trust Mr. Elijah. Whenever my son would initially come in nervous, Mr. Elijah was so thoughtful & prepared & would bring out to the lobby some dinosaur or ocean creature toys that he knew my son loved to help with the transition inside & his patience worked wonders for Finn getting more & more comfortable. Now my son walks right in without any issues! Finn gets super excited now to go to Romp n Roll so he can see Mr. Elijah there & whenever I pick him up now, my son loves telling me all about his morning there.

We did some camps there this summer as well & Finn has “branched out” & enjoyed spending time with Ms. Avni & Ms. Freya at the camps. All the employees there have been happy, have great attitudes & they just love what they do. Ms. Ilana is so kind & you can tell that she really cares & wants to see the kids succeed. She even went out of her way one day & gave me a heads up that Mr. Elijah had a planned vacation & would be out the next week for PDO so I could prepare Finn in advance for that change. While he was very sad he wouldn’t be able to play with Mr. Elijah, because we knew ahead of time, Finn was able to adapt that day & still had a good time. I would 100% recommend the PDO drop off program (and the camps) as my son has gained so much confidence in his social skills & made so much progress from being there!

Romp n’ Roll is by far the best indoor kids place in the area! The programming is diverse with activities ranging from cooking to gym, all with different themes each week to keep the kids engaged. The facility is always so clean and has everything you could need with little kids - a nursing room, diaper pails, ample changing stations, step stools to help kids wash their hands. It has been a haven for us this summer.

Ilana, the owner, and her staff go above and beyond to make the littles feel welcome. Our child has certain accommodations and they have always been so kind to check in and ask how the classes are going/any improvements that need to be made. The staff genuinely love kids and you can tell! Our child has grown in confidence since first attending.

We have been members for going on 7 months now and we truly can not say enough great things! My girls feel so comfortable there both for our weekly classes and their drop off camps. My oldest has always been slightly behind in gross motor skills and the gym classes have significantly helped her balance and body awareness. Our daughter has been attending Romp 'n Roll in Fairfax since she was a young baby. At first, she was very shy and hesitant around unfamiliar people, but the weekly baby class truly transformed her. Miss Krissie was always so warm and attentive, creating an environment that felt safe and welcoming—even for the shyest little ones.

As our daughter grew older and more physically active, she moved up to the young toddler class with Mr. Kage. He brings such a fun, energetic vibe that keeps the toddlers engaged—especially at an age when they just want to run around and explore.

We had a wonderful experience having my daughter’s 6th birthday party at Romp & Roll in Fairfax. We rented the whole place for about 25 kids, ranging from babies to 7 years old. There were soft mats for the little ones and many play structures they kept the older kids entertained.

The staff—Elijah, Camila, Rekha, and Freya were very warm and welcoming upon my arrival. They helped bring in my party supplies and set up the decor/catered food for me. I liked that they were very proactive in setting up everything and checked in with me throughout our time there to make sure things were running smoothly. I felt I was able to relax and sit back and enjoy my time with the guests and the kids.

The staff also did a great job with guided activities for the kids such as freeze dance and hide and seek. They turned the lights off and had little flashlights for the kids to find each other. The kids absolutely loved it. There was also a bounce house that was available for 20 minutes in the playroom as well as a bubble machine. You can tell the staff have great experience with kids. Overall the guided activities kept the kids all very engaged.

Romp and Roll did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend doing birthday parties here!

I highly recommend a membership to Romp n’ Roll! We love open playtime! My daughter loves having choices and no schedule. There were enough kids for her to practice taking turns but it never feels overcrowded. The staff is always so friendly when we go and helpful.

Elijah is an amazing instructor! The kids just love him. He also did a good job redirecting kids who were doing something different but also letting them be kids. This class was so fun, playing while also integrating music. He walked around and praised all the children and used their names which felt really special.

We held our daughter's 4th birthday party here recently and they really did everything to make it incredibly easy! I was worried about getting everything set up within 15 minutes, but they let me drop off some reasonable decorations the day before and the team took care of setting everything up so that I could enjoy the party! They managed the party flow, served the food, organized the gifts, helped clean all the kids hands before and after eating, etc.

The venue was spotless and so cheerfully decorated in normal course with balloons and bright colors, plus a great little waiting area to hang out in before the party began. The gym area was huge, colorful, clean, and safe, and all the kids had a great time running around. The kids enjoyed the chosen activities and the moon bounce and the instructors did a great job leading them in everything. I also really appreciated that the event team asked whether my child would like certain things - for example, they have a person in a Rompy costume that could come out, but I knew that would have terrified my daughter, so they kindly swapped that part out. Same thing for the parachute activity - they asked if my child would be okay with everyone circling her in the middle and I knew she wouldn't be, so I'm glad they asked me in advance so we could adjust!

Near the end, I tried to help clean up the party room, but they quickly stopped me and told me they would take care of everything (every mother's dream!) and that I should go enjoy the remainder of the party. They took care of all the clean up, packing up my decorations and leftover food, taking things to the car, etc. They helped end the party on time and distribute goody bags. It was just so well-organized and I really didn't need to stress about a thing! The 90 minute option was the perfect amount of time for this age group. Most importantly, my daughter and friends all had a blast! All the guests also received a complementary class pass, which was so generous and a nice surprise! Thanks for a wonderful birthday experience! 100% recommend having a party here!

We celebrated my son’s 4th birthday at Romp n’ Roll Fairfax on 27 April, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. From booking the room to preparing before the event, everything went smoothly. Ilana, the owner, and her entire team clearly love what they do—and it shows.

Our party instructors, Camila and Serenity were absolutely wonderful with the kids and supported us throughout the celebration. Ilana, Camila, and Serenity ensured that we—and all the parents—could enjoy the party stress-free, as they took care of the setup, organized the food and drinks, and even served during the event. We also had the delightful surprise of meeting Rompy, which the kids loved!

The team was incredibly accommodating—allowing us to drop off drinks and supplies the day before and come in early to decorate. The venue itself is beautiful and impeccably maintained.

I had my daughter's 2nd birthday on Saturday and could not be happier with my experience. The staff and management were fantastic. I had brought a few of my own decorations and the ladies helped me put them together and set it up. On the intake form prior to the party, one of the questions asked what theme is the party and I had put "Ballerina" and to my surprise they had a balloon garland with some ballerina balloons! They really made the day special and hosting with them was a breeze. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Romp n' Roll has become one of our absolute favorite places! From the moment you walk in, you can tell how much thought and care goes into maintaining a clean and safe environment. The play areas are spotless, and I especially appreciate their attention to sanitizing everything regularly.

The classes are incredibly well-designed and engaging. My child has tried several different classes, and each one has been a hit. There's a real focus on developing motor skills, coordination, and creativity through fun activities. Chef Rompy in particular has been such a fun learning experience, and encouraged my little one to try new foods.

But what truly sets Romp n' Roll apart are the instructors. They are phenomenal! They're energetic, enthusiastic, and genuinely love working with children. They have a knack for keeping the kids entertained and engaged, even the shyest ones. They're also very patient and understanding, which is so important when dealing with little ones. They remember each child's name, offer personalized encouragement, and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

We just had our son’s second birthday party here. AMAZING. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We brought food and decorations and they took care of everything/set up/cleaned up so we could enjoy the amazing party. Jay, Kage, and Elijah were so energetic, fun, and were fantastic and so engaged with the kids. We had ages 1.5-5 years and they all had a blast. The Rompy mascot appearance was a hit.
The facility was beautiful, well equipped, and so clean.
10/10 would recommend for a bday party.

Had such an amazing time with my 15 month old. The staff are very energetic and helpful. The space was bright, welcoming and clean. My daughter loves running around the playroom and climbing on the different structures. We were told that they switch out the room every Sunday evening to go with a new theme, which is pretty cool. And the large open art room after was fantastic. I loved that the tables and chairs were all toddler friendly and the art activities weren't structured or made to look like an example. We will definitely be returning for some more play dates.

Romp n’ Roll is a gem! My preschooler is very high energy and easily distracted. I love that the classes here are low stakes- meaning if he’s not always perfectly following the activity, it’s usually just fine. Kids can just be kids here. He gets to feed his curiosity with a variety of class types and he loves getting to pick what he’s going to do every weekend. Sometimes he’s in the mood for gym, and sometimes he wants to do dance or cooking! It’s also fantastic that I have the option to drop him off for some of the classes. Everyone here is wonderful with my son, and he especially enjoys classes with Miss Krissie. She strikes the perfect balance of fun and imagination with learning new things while holding boundaries kindly for the kids. As a tired mom, this is the perfect place to burn some energy in a safe and supportive environment.

We had an amazing birthday party at Romp n' Roll Fairfax! From start to finish, the service was incredible. The instructors were lively, kind, and truly cared about making the experience special for our little one and all the guests. They kept the kids engaged with fun activities, games, and music, making sure everyone had a fantastic time. We had the best birthday party ever for my son at Romp n' Roll!!! I loved how the staff worked together with every aspect of our party. The kids were so happy with the gym, toys, activities and ofcourse Rompy! The mascot was such a hit. I was also so happy and appreciative of the care and enthusiasm from Isaac, our team lead. He did so well with the kids and with communicating the time and plan to keep the flow going of the party. Can't wait to come back for classes!

We’ve been going to Romp and Roll since the start! I have seen my son learn through obstacles, observation and collaboration with other kids. My son was crawling at the start of these classes and gym time, climbing up basic areas to now as a walker, climbing up the stairs to a slide and sliding down by himself. Amazing space and team to have your children develop and learn!

Wow! What a fun place! We had an amazing time trying out a class today. Mr. Isaac and Ms. Krissie were so warm and welcoming. The structured activities (songs, games, parachute time and a bubble dance party!) were perfect and my littles enjoyed time to explore all the fun in the gym on their own too. Class included a fun and easy art project that my girls are excited to display at home. We can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely love romp n roll. We've been going since they opened and both my children (3y and 7mo) love it. They have such a wide variety of classes, and they rotate all the gym equipment so my 3y is never bored. The instructors are inclusive and energetic. Plus, the lobby has a huge variety of toys, books, and play houses so they are never bored. The owner put such thought into everything - there's even a private nursing room.

Update: My daughter LOVES coming to this new play place. It's very clean; which is really big for me since we needed a movement, fun, social outlet but didn't want to risk getting sick during the winter. This space perfect. Highly recommend!

This facility is beautiful for kids of all ages! Love the fact that there are other classes to attend than just a gym class. They have art, music and even cooking- how fun! You have the option to attend class with your kiddo or you can choose to sit in the waiting area to give them their independence. There are monitors to watch them. Membership options are great and owner Ilana is so friendly and helpful! Really great class times too! A wonderful addition to the neighborhood!

A welcome addition to Fairfax!! From the colorful and cushioned play gym area to the catchy songs to the bubble disco party and the friendliness of the staff…no detail is missed for a kid-centered fun experience! My kid said “I love that play gym mommy”…and I love the different activities (dance, tumbling, gym, art, cooking) and having our kids together in a safe and supportive space. Can’t wait for the parents night out events to come too! Win win!

Romp n’ Roll has the kindest staff and so amazing with the littles. From the moment you walk into the doors, the bright colors and smiles of the staff immediately are engaging and welcoming! The gym area has activities for all little ages and kept everyone busy. The staff was interacting with all the kids and right there to help and support. Everything was clean and ensured the kids used the “magic soup” (hand sanitizer) before entering the gym area. The tv screens in the lobby area give you a complete view of the gym, so even if you’re not in the gym area, you can keep an eye on things. When we left, my kid asked when we were going back. He had the best time with the biggest smile. Highly recommend with 5 stars. Go and check this place out, you will not be disappointed!

TLDR- Loving our experience at Romp N Roll! Would consider this a must try for moms looking for fun and engaging space for their children to learn + socialize.

Here is my break down below- for reference I am a mom of 2 under 2 with a background in early childhood education.

The classes- There are multiple classes such as music, art, cooking, gym, etc. Each week there is a new theme! My daughter absolutely loved art and tumble tunes. Classes are so fun and engaging and tailored to specific age groups. You will know exactly what’s going on in that class in the sign up description!

The teachers- the teachers are so sweet and ENGAGING! They always make an effort and take account each child’s personalities when approaching them! My daughter is on the shyer side and I love that the teachers can bring her out of her shell!

The online portal is really simple to use for signing up for classes and customer service is also really great, whether in person or over the phone.

The facility itself is extremely clean and up to date!

I recently took my nephew to Romp n Roll for an hour of play, and we had an amazing experience! At first, my nephew was a bit shy, but once he saw the fun activities available, he quickly opened up and had an absolute blast. He especially loved rolling, jumping and coloring on the table. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, and I want to give a special shoutout to the amazing owner, Ilana, for creating such a wonderful environment for kids. WOW 🤩 Romp n Roll Fairfax in Fair City Mall is beautiful! It was such a fun atmosphere for kiddos and parents alike (loved the parent area!). Our daughter loved running up and down the wedge, across the blow up cylinder, and of course the bounce house! The staff were courteous and engaging with the children and made the transition seamless between the play area and party area. The mascot, Rompy, is adorable. We attended a cooking class and a birthday party at Romp N Roll. My children enjoyed trying a dish from another culture, they made enchiladas. My kids can be picky eaters and then assembling their own food got them excited to try something new. The birthday party was activity packed! It was a nice experience because the staff kept the birthday attendants occupied with various activities. Lots of songs and games along with free play, time to eat and coloring on the tables. The staff was patient and organized. We look forward to coming back.
