Phenomenal workout experience for any fitness level with a skilled, certified staff of professional trainers. I started going to SAPT in June 2025 after injuries began impacting my ability to do daily activities without pain. Physical therapy was proving insufficient, and I was not able to maintain the level of fitness I wanted. I had seen how Hunter Hautz helped a lifelong athlete struggling with multiple “wear and tear” injuries regain strength and mobility, and I decided to give it a try. Due to age, some of my injuries will never completely heal, but after just a few months of training with Hunter, I can do all daily activities - including most strength and cardio exercises - without pain. I am gaining strength with every week of training and look forward to the next workout!

SAPT is an awesome gym, learnt a lot through many years of lifting in this gym. All the coaches are very knowledgeable and client oriented. They design the exercise program based on the client’s goals/needs and have evaluations so that you can track your progress. For your strength and conditioning needs look no further.

I’m a 54-year-old woman, and before joining this gym just over a year ago, I had never done any kind of weight training in my life. I was nervous at first—intimidated, really—but from day one, the coaches made me feel welcome, supported, and capable. Their consistent encouragement, patience, and expertise have made all the difference.
Over the past year, I’ve experienced changes I honestly didn’t think were possible at this stage in life. I’ve seen a noticeable increase in muscle mass, a decrease in visceral fat, and improvements in my blood work—including lower cholesterol levels. What’s even more surprising is that I haven’t made any major changes to my diet or lifestyle outside the gym. The results have truly come from the strength training and the support I’ve received here.
I genuinely enjoy coming in for my sessions—not just because of the progress I’ve made, but because the coaches create such a positive, motivating environment. They meet you where you are and help you get better, one step at a time.
If you’ve ever doubted whether strength training is for you, especially later in life, I can’t recommend this gym enough.

SAPT and Hunter have been great to work with. They have really improved our son's performance including adding 3" to his vertical leap. I would definitely recommend them.

SAPT is the best. I started my training with SAPT back in 2016 and then resumed again with my kids this year. After having trained at different places and in different types of fitness training, I found that SAPT is hands down the best in strength training, conditioning and overall fitness. It’s a great place regardless where you are in your journey - whether you are trying to get in to shape, learn proper form or you have kids who are in athletic programs and need conditioning training. The trainers are amazing, the programs are great, the environment is fun and engaging and the community is very welcoming and fun.
I would highly recommend SAPT for your fitness and conditioning journey.

SAPT has been an excellent place for my 14-year-old son to build a strong foundation in fitness and strength training. Having the right guidance and instruction when starting out is so important, especially at a young age. My son is already benefiting from SAPT’s coaching, and I’m confident he’ll continue to build on this new fitness knowledge. I’m excited to see how his training carries forward into hockey season. A big thank you to Hunter and the entire SAPT team!

I’ve been training with SAPT in Fairfax for two months now, and the experience has been phenomenal. From day one, the coaches have demonstrated incredible professionalism and genuine care—just like the reviews say, “the most passionate people in the strength and conditioning industry”
Their semi‑private training format strikes the perfect balance: personalized programming and expert guidance, yet still with the camaraderie of a group setting. I’m consistently challenged during sessions, and I’ve seen solid gains in strength, movement quality, and overall fitness in a surprisingly short time.
What stands out the most is their attention to detail and individualized approach. Each workout is thoughtfully designed for my goals, and the coaches are always there to correct form, offer encouragement, and adjust the plan based on how I’m progressing.
If you’re serious about getting stronger, moving better, and having great coaches alongside you, I can’t recommend SAPT highly enough. It’s hands-down the best training environment I’ve been a part of—and it shows why they’re consistently ranked top in the area.

My son (14 y/o) had a great experience at SAPT. Hunter and the rest of the team were great getting him set up to lift and strengthen safely and make it fun at the same time. I am a physical therapist so it was crucial to me for my son to have truly proper guidance getting started. I would recommend anyone looking to improve form or initiate lifting correctly to minimize risk of injury, check with SAPT and see if it's the right fit for you!

SAPT has been a great experience for my daughter. She joined to try to increase her vertical for volleyball and in 6 months is already jumping a little higher. More importantly, she enjoys the staff and environment and has started making nutrition changes to hit her goals. She enjoys going and if we lived closer I’d take her even mite during the week. We have tried other programs but they just didn’t compare. Also- shout out to Hunter- He’s super friendly and encouraging and she enjoys working with him.

I first started training at SAPT at the age of 13. With high school baseball around the corner I needed a facility with coaches who understood my goals and could help me reach them (to become faster and stronger and compete at the highest level). I quickly noticed a theme—hard work. The training staff is phenomenal, they deeply care about you as well push your goals, they understand your strengths and weaknesses, and know how to create a plan of attack (that actually teaches you how to move well, reducing injuries) which creates a really awesome environment to train in. Fast forward 8 years training at SAPT and I accomplished my lifelong goal of playing professional baseball. To this day I still train at SAPT when I can—they truly welcomed me into a hardworking, respectful community and there is no place I rather lift at when I’m in town. I’d recommend SAPT to anyone who wants to see their own gains and improve their health. All love (s/o Hunter)

As a fitness enthusiast myself, I have high standards when it comes to proper technique, coaching, and program structure. At the same time, as a parent, I know that kids often hear/understand instructions better from coaches than from parents. I appreciate how much emphasis SAPT places on correct form, injury prevention, and building a solid foundation. This past winter, my daughter sustained a complex injury while wrestling. Hunter designed a program specifically tailored around her needs, which not only kept her safe during recovery, but also made sure she maintained her strength and conditioning. Thanks to SAPT's expertise, she came back stronger without losing any of her hard-earned gains. The positive, supportive environment at SAPT - from both the coaches and community - makes it a great place for anyone looking to improve their fitness safely and effectively.

Best experience you can ask for out of a gym, coaches, and community.
The coaching staff is knowledgeable, motivating, and have literally taken me from someone afraid to lift 100lbs off the floor to lifting over 450lbs.
They’ve given me back my health in ways I thought it’d never come back. Strength, diet, and overcoming injury (from before lifting)
Best gym I’ve ever been to and the last I’ll ever go to

I'm thankful to SAPT for being a huge part of my high school wrestling career. I’ve been training with Hunter and some of the other coaches for a few years now and they always push me to try my best and truly take into account what I'm looking to get out of the workouts. SAPT is a place where you can and will be held accountable for achieving your goals. I’ve got to meet a lot of fun people like the powerlifters and others who make the gym a fun environment. Overall Training here has helped me get stronger and made a big
difference in my wrestling as well as helped get me back on my feet from injury. Thanks to sapt I feel prepared to go off and wrestle in college and continue to lift!

Joining SAPT was one of the best decision's I ever made as a student athlete. Hunter and his team helped me build strength coming back from and injury, build confidence and helped my overall performance as a volleyball player. I continued to be apart of SAPT even after i was done with my volleyball career because it is such a positive and safe place. I grew such strong relationships with alot of the coaches and those relationships made coming into workout so fun because I was able to socialize and made me feel so comfortable talking to the coaches about all things going on in my life ( shout out Ashely ). Overall SAPT is an amazing place to experience your fitness journey. All the coaches are amazing and want whats best for you and your health and goals! They celebrated all of my milestones (big and small) and helped me grow to be my best self in the gym!

I started strength training later in life, and SAPT made me feel at home from day one. The coaches met me where I was, respected my goals, and guided me with expert, personalized support. What sets SAPT apart is the environment—uplifting, fun, and always inspiring me to be my best. Years later, I’m stronger than I ever would have imagined, and training is now an essential part of my life because I love the process and the community. I wholeheartedly recommend SAPT to anyone ready to invest in their strength and well-being, no matter what level you are starting from!

My family has been training at SAPT for about 10 years. All three of my kids have learned to lift here, each with different sports interests. Like swimming, I believe lifting is a vital life skill, and SAPT meets each athlete exactly where they are. Their programming focuses on building work capacity and athletic performance. My wife enjoys lifting here and keeps getting stronger with age.
As a former trainer with over 25 years of lifting experience, I’m continually impressed by the subtle adjustments the SAPT team makes to improve performance, all within a welcoming and friendly environment. I highly recommend SAPT to anyone serious about fitness and athletic development.

SAPT has been a great place to train, especially as a beginner. I started knowing nothing about strength training, but now I feel confident and educated thanks to the insightful and supportive trainers. I started SAPT 15 years ago. When I began I could barely do 10 pushups. After 3 years, I competed in my first powerlifting meet and won my age/weight class. Last weekend I did an equipped bench press and hit 357.5 lbs. All four of my daughters have been through SAPT and achieved great results. The trainers are top notch and the lifting community is outstanding. Multiple thumbs up to SAPT!!!

I have been working with Hunter at SAPT for 4 years now and I couldn't be any happier. Our entire family, including teenagers and adults, have been going to SAPT for over 5 years. This is a GREAT GYM for the whole family, with workouts tailored to whatever your needs: improvement in specific sports, general well-being, or serious weight-lifting. Hunter and the team of coaches listen and provide excellent instruction and motivation, all without undue pressure. The culture at SAPT has created a sense of community among the staff and clients despite a wide range of athleticism, strengths, ages, and backgrounds.

My relationship with SAPT started with my kids. My oldest was a basketball player and had ankle injuries early in her high school career and through SAPT was able to avoid any further injuries. Really helped her to play her best. My youngest wanted to get stronger for baseball, and the results showed as he was 1st Team all District and 2nd team all Region his Senior year. Both of them loved the coaching they received and still work out today with those skills they learned. As a result of watching their workouts, in the middle of COVID in 2020 I started my own journey at SAPT. I ended up with Hunter as my coach. He has made it so that I look forward to my workouts and the time in the gym. All of coaches are amazing and have helped me to get so much stronger and to work through minor injuries. I would highly recommend SAPT if you’re looking for a gym that provides coaching, a place that is fun to show up to each time you workout, comes with some laughs and good people that become friends. The coaches make it a great experience. Hard to believe I’ve been a part of SAPT for almost 5 years now.

My daughter started to go to SAPT about 1.5 years ago for volleyball strength and performance training. After the first year of going to them-she raised her vertical 5 inches!!! The location is great and the schedule is very flexible to be able to find times each week to go. They are very responsive and receptive to ideas and communication-and also provide constructive feedback looping you in on the progress your child is making. They have individual as well as small group training-and several packages to choose from. My daughter's favorite trainer is Hunter-and he is AMAZING! SAPT provides results!

Outstanding Training & Results at SAPT!
My son has been training at SAPT since he was 10 years old, and now at 16, the results speak for themselves. Thanks to their expert coaching and dedicated approach, he has significantly improved his strength for baseball, allowing him to break 90 mph in his throwing and increase his hitting velocity by 5 mph up to 95 MPH with a wood bat!!
Hunter and the entire SAPT staff are not only knowledgeable but also incredibly supportive, flexible, and caring. They truly invest in the success of each athlete and create a positive, motivating environment. I highly recommend SAPT for any young athlete looking to take their performance to the next level!

I recently started attending SAPT and wow what an experience. I initially started going as a way to up my vertical and gain muscle as suggested by some of my coaches and I can say I was definitely intimidated at first. There was no need to be there though.
The first thing I need to give the place credit for is the amazing and positive environment. The coaches there are some of the most welcoming and supportive people I have ever met and I can confidently say even all the days I didn’t want to go and just stay in my bed, the trainers there made it worth it. If anyone has had a negative experience with personal trainers in the past, I can assure you that the people here will only make your day better.
The one thing I also must say about the trainers is that they all have your best interest. On days where I didn’t eat as much as I should’ve before training, the coach make adjustments to my program so I could still have the best results possible under the given conditions.
Lastly, THE RESULTS SO FAR!
You know you got some guns with your volleyball coach turns to you and says” you’re pushing the ball, but it’s still going over. You know that takes a lot of strength, right?” This was after about a month of training. If you do an evaluation and talk to the trainers about what you want to work on the programs that they create are AMAZING at targeting specific muscles along with certain motions that work well with your sport. I should know I did a weird rotating band thingy to get used to putting my weight into hits. Oh, it worked. I know I’m not completely done with my program but where it’s going, I’m excited to see the final results.

I have been a member of SAPT for the past two years, and the experience has been truly transformative. At the initial assessment, Hunter, who is not only an outstanding trainer but also manages the facility, took the time to understand my fitness goals, and tailored workouts specific to my needs. Throughout my time there, all the trainers consistently pushed me to achieve my best. Other members of the gym were extremely supportive and friendly as well. Many members have been there for 5 to 10 years! SAPT fosters an environment of team camaraderie while still maintaining an individual focus with the semi private training sessions. SAPT is welcoming to all, regardless of where you are in your fitness journey.
The trainers were all incredibly knowledgeable about exercise science, strength training, and conditioning. They prioritized proper form and injury prevention. The workouts were always challenging yet engaging.
The positive attitude, encouragement, and ability to hold me accountable made a huge difference in my fitness journey. Thanks to their guidance, I’ve seen significant improvements in my strength, endurance, and overall health.
They truly care about their clients and go above and beyond to help them succeed! Not just a gym but an amazing community!

For the past 8 years, SAPT has been more than just a place to work out. From the very beginning, it was clear this wasn't just another generic workout gym. My individual needs and weaknesses were assessed. A program was designed and built specifically tailored to reaching my goal to play college soccer, focusing on everything from the demands of the game, strength, power development, agility, speed, and injury prevention.
Training has always been intense, but also smart. I don't just lift heavy weights for the sake of it. I focus on proper technique and functional movements understanding how everything translates to the field. I feel more confident in my ability to challenge for the ball, make explosive runs, and stay strong throughout the entire 90 minutes.
But it isn't just about the physical gains. SAPT trainers are like family - incredibly supportive and motivating. They push me to my limits, but also make sure I take care of my body recovering properly with nutrition, sleep, and mental toughness. They create a positive, competitive environment where I feel challenged and supported.
Most importantly, I have stayed healthy. The injury prevention work we do is invaluable. I have been able to stay on the field and contribute to my team throughout my past 3 years of college soccer. That alone is worth its weight in gold.
This program has transformed me as a soccer player. I am stronger, faster, more agile and more resilient. I am a better player and person because of the dedication and expertise of the entire team. If you are an athlete looking to take your game to the next level, I can't recommend SAPT highly enough.

I’ve been working with Hunter at SAPT for a month, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the start, they were very flexible in building a plan that fits my lifestyle and ensures a sustainable exercise regime. Hunter is a great listener and adapts exercises to suit my individual needs, making each session feel personal and effective. He brings a lot of positive energy to our sessions and gently guides me through challenges, pushing me just enough to keep improving without feeling overwhelmed. Though I have been training for the past 7 yrs, working with Hunter has made me actually enjoy working out which I didn’t before. Thank you Hunter/SAPT!

I cannot credit SAPT’s staff enough for their incredible work and flexibility. As a varsity baseball player, my schedule has been sporadic and SAPT has been able to support my shifting schedule. I first came to SAPT just after I had recovered from an ankle injury after a string of injuries. Since then my fastball has increased by 10 miles an hour and my 60 yard dash also increased significantly. I credit that mostly to my training at SAPT.
