I found Sarah when seeking a personal trainer for my mom who is over 50. I wanted someone with extensive knowledge on mobility and functional strength training. We got that at so much more with SL Performance! We've seen so much improvement, both physically and mentally with my mom. I can't thank Sarah enough for all of the intentional planning and care that's gone into her training plan. It's truly made a material difference in her day to day life, and we are SO appreciative. Not to mention her kindness and professionalism at every interaction.

I have been training with Sara for about three months. Despite having sciatic and having arthritis, my pain has decreased and I have gained internal muscles. My daily activities have increased and I feel very good. Sarah pays attention to my special and individual exercises . Sara sent me the training video clip, which is really helpful . She always asks me if this particular exercise and movement is useful for me or not. I am very great-full that I started exercising with Sara and I want to continue training with her.

I have had back pain for over 12 years and have dealt with injuries off and off on which I thought was the norm. I played D1 football and Mobility, Pilates, and injury prevention was never something trainers addressed. I have been training with SL Performance for 4 years now and have been injury free since. Finally living and training pain-free. I wish I would have started training with SL Performance sooner. Now that I work in Law Enforcement, running, rucking, and lifting are a weekly norm. There isn’t anyone more qualified than Sarah to prepare operators whether it be for screenings or everyday OPs.

Sarah with SL Performance is an amazing coach. She helped me for a couple of years to increase and tone my muscles/physique including throughout my entire pregnancy with my son. She listened to my needs, started out each session asking how I was feeling, and modified as we went based on that. She is incredibly knowledgeable about all things exercise and training, especially for pregnant women.

Sarah worked with me throughout my pregnancy and early postpartum months. She took all the guess work out of what I should be doing to remain healthy and strong during pregnancy and through my recovery postpartum. She works holistically to prevent injury, increase mobility and function - all tailored to your individual needs. Incorporating deep core and pelvic floor work into my practice prenatal and postpartum set me up for success in the long term. Sarah has great positive energy that is contagious. She is tough but encouraging. She is a stickler for correct form and gives great cues to help you understand how to tweak what you are doing to get the correct muscles firing. She is able to quickly modify on the fly so that the each exercise is performed at your fullest range of motion without causing pain and targets those "sticky spots" so that your range of motion increases. And just when you think-“Oh this exercise isn’t that hard anymore” Sarah adds another layer to challenge you. She is working with 3 of my family members who all have different needs and goals. She was instrumental in helping my athletic son get his strength and fitness level back after several injuries sidelined him from his sport for months. She bridged the gap when PT ended to help him fully develop the muscles needed to return to playing. She challenged him and kept things fresh. She also taught him additional stretching and strengthening exercises to minimize the chance for potential new injuries. She was willing to collaborate with coaches and other providers working with him. She has been working with my young adult son who is on the Autism Spectrum. She is patient with him and his zillions of questions about the how and why of what she asks him to do (her knowledge base is extensive)! She is helping him to build a fitness habit and motivates him to work and persevere. She has been supplementing my workouts and is helping to relieve chronic pain in my neck, shoulder, back and hip. She has helped me identify my faulty movement patterns and is helping me correct them by strengthening the right muscles to do the right job so my overworked muscles can relax and just do the job they were meant to do. We all have very different needs and Sarah is able to meet them all.

I've had a few experiences with different personal trainers, but Sarah has truly raised the bar (no pun intended), and is the new standard. I arrived at her space with severely limited mobility and in a fairly short period, she's helped me so much. She's hyper attentive, detail-oriented, and affirming. Sarah is the best!!! I have been working with her for the past 2 years and she is amazing! I have done workout class with her where each class is so different from the last and has me doing exercises I have never done before. She is constantly making sure I am using every muscle that is supposed to be working and ensuring my form is perfect. I have also been doing 1-1s for stretching via zoom and that has helped me dramatically. Before each class sarah always asks what’s hurting or feeling uncomfortable so that we can make sure to address those areas. I have had neck and trap pains for a while and it has been getting so much better!

Sarah, is just top notch trainer. She listened to me and my body. She new how to correct certain issues I was struggling with and always made modifications as needed. What makes Sarah one of a kind is her kindness and over all knowledge of workouts, body form, strength training and calisthenics. I began training with her in 2020 until she moved out of state in 2021. I miss her being my trainer and have not found someone to replace her and her beautiful smile.

My husband and I have been doing Pilates with Sarah for 4 years and we are so happy to have found her! I personally feel physically stronger and more flexible than I did in my 30's and 40's.
