I’ve been going to various gyms for over 20 years, and unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had. From the very beginning, just trying to get access to the facility was a hassle. The process of obtaining a key was unnecessarily difficult, and communication was limited to text messages—none of which were helpful or professional. In fact, the responses I received were downright rude.
It quickly became clear that customer service and professionalism are not a priority here. I ended up canceling and switching to Anytime Fitness in Ashland, where the staff are actually professional business owners who understand how to treat their members with respect. The difference in atmosphere and service is like night and day.
I would not recommend this gym to anyone looking for a welcoming or professionally-run fitness environment.

I’ve been going to this 24-hour gym since it opened, and it’s been a great experience. It has everything you need, secure, and incredibly convenient.

Even though it’s a no-staff facility, everything is well-maintained and organized. The equipment is high quality, and there's a great variety for both strength and cardio workout equipment. It’s never too crowded, and everyone who comes here is respectful and focused, which makes for a great atmosphere.

If you're looking for a simple, solid, no-frills gym where you can get your workout in on your own time, this is it. Highly recommend!

It's a self-serve gym. I'd equate it to your friend letting you use their garage gym, except you have to pay a pretty hefty price. Ive stopped here 3 times mid-day, no staff present at any time. No response through email after 7 days. Phone goes straight to voice-mail and no response from that method either. Unimpressed, still gave a neutral rating since I never actually got to use this gym.

It's a nice place to do a variety of workouts, but they haven't replaced the punching body bag frame that broke about 3 or 4 weeks ago.

Tried to join this gym but hours are by appointment only and the manager kept rescheduling and then the last time was a no show. Wasted thirty minutes waiting and she did not respond to last two messages.

3 stars for just existing in Montpelier. Laid back atmosphere. Equipment has gotten worn down and their seems to be no attempt to replace them. This is not a powerlifters gym this is leisure gym.

This gym is awful considering the premium they charge. The only reason they get away with the price is the locality. A great opportunity for a local business to take advantage of its local patrons.

It's so bad it's even covered on Montpelier's Wikipedia page, so I'm guessing the only people rating this place highly are somehow related to management.

Nice facility. Generally not too crowded, so getting on whatever machine you want/need isn't an issue. Clean. Haven't come across any hard-core gym rats, mostly 'regular' people just trying to get/stay healthy.
