I visited Virginia and signed up for a 2-week pass at this Solidcore location. The first week was fantastic — coaches Uriah Johnson (Head Coach & Community Manager), Krishna Pate, and Nathan Eldering were all amazing. They listened to my wrist injury (doctor’s orders: no exercises on my hands), made thoughtful modifications, and ensured I still got a great workout.
Unfortunately, my last class on July 22 with Erik Payne was a very different experience. From the start, his tone felt curt and dismissive when I explained my injury. He adjusted my setup in a way that made my modifications harder, and when I tried to get his attention, his responses felt snappy rather than supportive. Even after reminding him multiple times about my limitation, he continued to suggest exercises I couldn’t do, and when I chose safe alternatives, he questioned me sharply in front of others. I became so uncomfortable that I left the class early and decided not to return for the remainder of my pass.
It’s disappointing because the other coaches were fantastic and truly made me feel welcomed and cared for. I hope this feedback helps ensure all clients — especially those with injuries — receive the same level of understanding and support.

My 23 year old daughter introduced me to Solid core studio , and at 52 I fell for a challenge ! Workouts are hard and challenging, never quite the same which I love ! I feel motivated by the atmosphere, workout plans and great coaches ! Membership is on expensive side but with unlimited access to classes I feel it’s worth it !

I started to train at SolidCore almost two months ago, and it has made such a difference. This is an amazing workout! The coaches always bring great energy, queue up moves well and are good about helping during class if needed. The manager Haley is also so great and responses quickly if you have any questions. Definitely recommend!

The best workout and the ONLY thing that has ever changed my body! The coaches are INCREDIBLE and super high energy making every class so fun! It is by far the hardest workout but the motivation you get from everyone in the room and the results keep you coming back for more! Best decision I ever made! Keep the shakes coming!!!

I can’t give this studio enough stars! I came for the workout but I’ve stayed for the community. The coaches care about all of the clients in and outside the studio. I love the emphasis on form and safety. There is so much potential to get stronger and stronger - as soon as you feel like you’ve mastered a move, there is an amplification to make it spicier!

This is the most life changing workout. It has challenged me physically and mentally. The coaches are so encouraging to each person whether it’s their first or 100th time. Just know this, if I could only do one workout, it would DEFINITELY be SOLIDCORE. Come change you!
