I’ve been training with Teddy for almost 8 months now and it is the best decision I’ve ever made! Came in with zero boxing experience and couldn’t have landed a better coach. He’s knowledgeable, focuses on technical skills at your own pace; and while gives you a hell of a workout (I finish almost every session drenched in sweat). Since starting, I feel stronger, have lost weight, overall feel better physically and mentally, and am excited/looking forward to our class every week. Teddy is patient and breaks down techniques to a level you will understand and pick up on. l I toyed around with the idea of starting classes with him for a year and my only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner. I came in with zero prior boxing or martial arts experience. Teddy is patient and demonstrates and explains things very well, making things less intimidating for someone new to this sport like me. He is also considerate and understanding. I had to temporarily step away from all strenuous physical activity due to recovering from a surgery, and he kindly paused our weekly sessions until he got the okay from me that I was fully recovered. The workouts are challenging, but rewarding. I'd recommend Teddy to anyone interested in boxing, losing weight, building muscle, or just trying to stay in shape.

Teddy is an excellent boxing coach. He ensures that your form is correct, but he is still patient. Although the workouts are challenging, they are tailored to your fitness level. Teddy's program is the best option for those who want to learn technical boxing. I've tried other boxing gyms in Arlington, but those programs were more of an aerobics class (not boxing).

Coach Teddy is the real deal!
I am a current student of Coach Teddy’s and I highly recommend Teddy’s Fitness Boxing for anyone looking to learn about or improve their boxing or kickboxing skills while also improving their fitness level.
If you are new to boxing, no problem! Coach Teddy has a non-intimidating style and is very patient and respectful with all of his students. If you are student with boxing or kick-boxing experience, no problem either! Coach Teddy has an impressive depth of knowledge and many years of experience as both a competitor and trainer and will help hone your existing skills. I have been training in Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) for several years and Coach Teddy has helped me improve my boxing technique, footwork and timing. And I often seek out his counsel and advice on various aspects of my training.
I should also mention some positive aspects of training with Coach Teddy that most prospective students likely don’t think about or consider. First, Coach Teddy epitomizes reliability. He seems to always be at the gym and I never recall an instance where he cancelled a training session. Second, new students without martial arts experience should feel very comfortable training with Coach Teddy. In addition to myself, I’ve watched Coach Teddy train numerous students and, as I alluded to above, emphasize that Coach Teddy has an easygoing style and patient approach with all of his students. But most important, Coach Teddy knows how to teach! (Not all instructors are good teachers!) But Coach Teddy knows how to connect with his students to assess their needs and teach them the techniques needed to improve their skills.
If you ask me, you can’t go wrong training with Coach Teddy!

I took private Muay Thai lessons with Coach Teddy twice a week for almost 6 months and it was fantastic! Before training with him, I had taken few months off from martial arts training and the gym to welcome a new baby to the family, so I was pretty rusty and out of shape. Coach Teddy reached out before the first session to ask me about my goals so he could use his training program to help me accomplish them.

When you get started, come with a positive attitude and be ready to learn. In addition to being very technical and detail-oriented, Coach Teddy is one of the most consistent coaches you will find. He is always ready, on time, and very respectful, which encourages students to do the same. He takes a very measured approach to his training and will definitely push you to your limits. Each session starts with a warm up which incorporates calisthenics and movements you will use in Muay Thai. It's great because it helps build strength, muscle memory for proper technique, and prevents injuries. He also has you work with the heavy bag, Thai pads, and focus mitts to help improve conditioning and technique.

Just when you think training is going to get easier, think again! He will challenge you each and every session (in a good way) to make sure you continue to improve and reach your goals. Whether you are a seasoned martial artist or just a beginner, I highly recommend Teddy's Fitness Boxing.

Teddy has been an excellent coach since I have started with him. I was coming off an Achilles tear 6 months prior to starting training with him and in over a year I have seen a huge improvement to my boxing and personal fitness. I was a little concerned that my lack of skills would frustrate both Coach Teddy and me. I was wrong. Coach Teddy is a fantastic trainer whether or not you have boxing experience. Always supportive, positive, pleasant, and patient, Teddy really knows how to motivate his students. He has a unique ability to tailor each session based upon the individual's abilities and knows exactly how far to push you to maximize benefits. Been working out for 10+ years. Had success with heavy weight training, endurance, bulking, cutting, biking classes, cross fit, and numerous personal trainer programs. I've been training with Teddy for several years now, working to improve my boxing technique and knowledge of the game, and I couldn't be happier with the process or the results. Simply put, Teddy's a great trainer!

Over the years, I've worked with a few different trainers in two different boxing gyms: one in the States and one in Latin America. I learned from all of those guys, and I wish them the best, but when it comes to technical expertise, fight experience, and pure boxing knowledge – along with the ability to actually teach – Teddy is easily the best I've ever worked with. His ability to explain particular movements and techniques (how to do them, and also when and why) is second to none. He's also fantastic at correcting your form and noticing mistakes and bad habits that can cost you when sparring. And if you do spar or compete, Teddy's in-depth understanding and years of personal experience are invaluable.

Added to all this, importantly, is the fact that Teddy's a genuinely nice guy who takes an honest interest in helping you learn and get better at what you're doing, whether it's boxing, muay thai, or fitness training.
