Claudy and Kristen Abranches have been fantastic in their work with my daughter. She is a different athlete after training at the Grind for the last four months. Speed, strength, and leaping ability are all improved. She is even touching the rim now.

I started my daughter training at the Grind after multiple kids from my AAU basketball team told me how great Claudy is in tailoring workouts to their specific sports and needs. Because he trains in groups the costs are about a third of a private trainer.

I’m sorry Brian, you must be speaking about the wrong places. We don’t hold tournaments or have turf fields we rent. We are a performance training facility. We have sent over 100 kids to Division 1 colleges on scholarship. We love what we do. I’m sorry about your experience, but that didn’t happen at our facility. Thanks so much.

Probably one of the two or three worst tournaments my kids have ever attended in 6 years of club lacrosse. The field layouts were way to far apart there was insufficient parking after being told there were shuttles between HS and outlying fields we later found out that wasn't the case. Officiating at the tournament was inconsistent and in several cases refs did not even seem know the specfics of high school rules. On a coulee of occasions game action was stopped for 2-3 minutes while they discussed rulings, not abig deal in a real game but a huge deal with 25 minute running clocks. Refs seemed more interested in making thenselves part of the game. They also made condescending comments about players during the course of the game within earshot of their teammates. Only post ice about tournament was the training staff. If asked I will recommend that our club dump this tournament from the rotation.
