One of the best Gyms I have been too. Caleb who is the owner and main trainer is amazing. I had a torn meniscus in my knee and Caleb did a great job at modifying the workouts to my needs. I was not only able to rehab my knee faster then expected, I even gained strength and beat my old PRs in less than a month.
The other trainers that help out are also amazing and do a great job of teaching and coaching and ensure you have the correct form to prevent injuries.
The Gym use Sugar WOD to plan and track workouts and it’s a game changer. You can quickly see your PRs when completing your strength workouts live to help you grow.
The gym community vibe is off the charts. Everyone there is very welcoming to new people and I felt right at home on day one.
Last huge bonus is that they do have a shower for those that need to go to work right after morning class. (which is rare for CrossFit gyms to have)
Just like every else’s reviews….. This Gym is the best around. It’s time to stop reading/playing on other Gym websites. Go in and talk to Caleb. You will not regret it.

My journey with Caleb at The Sweat Gym started after Dennis Pierce, my massage therapist, recommended Caleb and told me that he thought Caleb could help me reduce or eliminate my painful debilitating sciatica. Dennis was able to eliminate the pain with his excellent massages, but the relief would last only a day or so; then the pain returned. He told me Caleb could offer help.
After 8 weeks of three-a-week sessions with Caleb at his private gym I can report that I now have entire days without the sciatica pain. In the last two weeks I have even had back-to-back days of relief.
Caleb is a young, concerned, focused trainer who uses his knowledge of kinesthesis to put together workouts that get results. I have only good things to say about Caleb and look forward to more progress with him. I now believe it could be possible to eliminate the pain entirely.

Training with Caleb has been such an awesome experience! It’s really boosted my strength training and changed my mindset too. From the very first session, Caleb made me feel completely welcomed and comfortable—no judgment, just support and encouragement all around.
What I love about Caleb is the perfect mix of knowledge, motivation, and accountability. Every workout is tailored to what I want to achieve, and Caleb explains things really well—whether it’s proper form or technique—so I can grow stronger safely and confidently. He doesn’t just count reps; he teaches, cheers you on, and genuinely inspires you.

Caleb is amazing! He knew exactly what I needed at my age/life, and every time I leave he fist pumps me and I am like, "YES!" Even days when I don't feel like it, or think, "what if it's too hard?", I go and leave with "I rocked it!" attitude, and it's only because of Caleb. I dropped into The Sweat Gym on a whim during a very busy work day and the owner Caleb was so accommodating. I knew because of my own programming that I couldn’t do lower body three days in a row, so the coach, Dom, let me setup my own spot and do my own workout. Dom was so accommodating and cheering me on as I was doing a WOD. Great coaching attitude. The programming at The Sweat Gym for the day would’ve absolutely given me a great butt kicking in all the right ways. I really liked what I saw! I've been going to this gym for about a year now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. Every time I walk in, the community vibe is amazing—the other members are always so encouraging and supportive. It’s the kind of place where people are genuinely happy to share tips or demonstrate ways to improve movements that might be new or tricky for you.The trainers are fantastic, too. They’re always welcoming when you arrive and really attentive to your needs. I love how they offer alternatives within the workout so you can adapt things to suit how your body is feeling on any given day. It shows they really care about keeping everyone safe while still pushing you to grow.Another big plus: the gym itself is always clean and well-maintained. The equipment is high quality and in great shape, which makes workouts not just effective but really enjoyable.
One of my favorite features is using SugarWOD to track our workouts. It makes it so easy to see progress over time, share results with friends, and stay motivated. The programming is consistently challenging yet scalable for all fitness levels.
Overall, it’s just an incredibly positive, no-ego environment. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, you’ll feel right at home here. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive, well-run gym community!

Caleb is so knowledgable about anatomy and injury prevention. He’s extremely attentive and intuitive with what your body needs. He’s also super knowledgable about women and their hormones as it relates to exercise, depending on your season of life, which I really appreciate as a functional medicine Nurse Practitioner.
Just briefly working with him he was able to relieve hip tightness I’ve had for years so that I could function more properly during the lifting session. Also really warm, kind and encouraging. The best trainer I’ve ever worked with!

I recently joined The Sweat Gym in Manassas and have been blown away by the experience. I met Coach Caleb on my first visit—he’s not only an amazing trainer but also incredibly knowledgeable about nutrition and wellness. His energy and guidance made it easy for me to commit to the group training classes three times a week.

I visited The Sweat (and I did) Gym for the first time today (June 12, 2025) as a guest of my daughter who is a member. I do not live in the area and was not a "perspective student" or gym member since my daughter clarified where I live...120 miles away! That fact did NOT dissuade Caleb from taking an interest in my work out routine! He DID NOT charge me the guest fee which I was prepare to pay! Caleb was friendly, helpful & sincerely interested in how I did. I have a coach where I live! If I lived near Manassas I'd join Caleb's gym! If you are intimidated about sampling The Sweat Gym, DON'T BE! He'll treat you like a member, coach your needs and meet you where you are on your fitness journey! I believe I was the first paying customer at the sweat gym. The sole reason I signed up was Caleb Gatchell. Hands down he is the Best coach around. He truly has to the passion to always continue to learn and if you pay attention , listen and ask questions or just observe what he does you can improve your fitness to another level. He definitely walks the walk when it comes to his own athleticism and work ethic especially for his age ;). The sweat gym community has the most positive/ non judgmental people. They have some of the best athletes there who help to encourage others to reach their goals. Caleb is an incredible coach with a deep understanding of functional movement and strength training. I can’t thank him enough for helping me regain mobility and strength in an injured shoulder. I continue to work with Caleb to help correct other imbalances in my body that have contributed to a painful back and hip. I started my personal training with Calab, the owner of The Sweat Gym, at the end of December 2024 right before my 60th birthday. I’m proud to say 2 1/2 months later I’m now averaging 3 days a week and I’m still doing it! Caleb is a master of science when it comes to pushing you in the right direction. Usually when I try kick starting a workout program old injuries take over and I end up failing miserably. This young man pushes you to a point where your body demands a return on investment. As you get older workouts require more ability to maintain stability. It’s not a matter of heavy weight or hard-core cardio it’s how you put it all together that keeps a client coming back. This guy knows his stuff. Program prices are very reasonable and it’s always changing so you never get bored. My mental and physical well-being is grateful I found this place. This is the CrossFit gym where my husband and I first learned how to do CrossFit, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The coaches are incredibly welcoming, kind, and patient—they take the time to teach new skills properly and are always involved in helping members improve.

The Sweat Gym is BY FAR the best gym in NOVA. I had been dealing with two labrum tears for over two years, which made it difficult to workout hard like I used to. Caleb and his staff worked with me to strengthen muscle groups around my injury, and in no time, the pain and fatigue disappeared, and I was able to push myself back to finishing tough strength and conditioning workouts with no problem! The Sweat Gym is my first introduction to the CrossFit world, and I’m absolutely in love with it! The strength and cardio programming is great. Each class is a hour, and there is ample time to warm-up and build gradually into each lift. In addition, all the coaches on staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the various lifts and the muscle the lifts work. There is even a nutrition coach on staff who is helpful in providing accountability and advice. Given that I had a lot of preconceived notions about CrossFit (think - shirtless macho men!😂), the community is incredibly warm and welcoming. You’ll see athletes of all fitness levels, ages, and races working out happily alongside each other. There are even community hangouts! The equipment is clean and in solid condition. There are other amenities like a shower and water as well as energy drinks available for purchase. You can bring your pup to the gym which is a fun bonus, too. If you sign-up for this gym, you won’t be disappointed!

Best gym in Northern, VA. I am a fellow gym owner and Sweat Gym is my home away from home when I am in the area for work. The gym is state of the art, the community is very welcoming, and the coaching staff is hyper focused on getting all ages and abilities to achieve their fitness and health goals. You won’t regret trying them out!

Sweat Gym is my second home. Started a little over a year ago. My goals were to build strength, lose weight, and feel better. My wife started started to see my results and how much better I looked and felt so she started to come in with me and we’re both now in the best shape of our lives. We both do PT with Caleb and come in 5-6 days a week. Caleb is an awesome coach and attentive to my goals and overall health and lifestyle. He finds creative ways to scale workouts for me (and everyone else) when I’m injured or just not feeling it. Everyone is close knit and super supportive. I love how Caleb and everyone push you to your limits. Makes everything else in the day so much better. Always looking forward to the next workout.

Great gym, great community and great coaching. The owner of the gym was one of my first CrossFit coaches when I started my fitness journey about 3 years ago. I love his coaching style, his attention to form/technique as well as his constant energy and motivation. He takes the time to explain the workouts and provide you with multiple scaled options. When you walk into the Sweat Gym, you truly feel welcomed and at home. The gym is clean, equipment is top notch and the people are kind and friendly. If you are looking for a place to reach your health and fitness goals, look no further!
