Shout out to Tumbles! Our daughter had a spectacular 7th birthday party! Everything was fantastic from start to finish. Facility is extremely clean. Staff were proactive in making sure all our needs were met, and we were given ample time to set up decorations (last year’s venue only gave 15 mins; this place provided 30 mins). They even asked for her photo beforehand to put on the wall monitor with a personalized birthday message. They had 15 girls busy from start to finish. A jam packed schedule filled with an obstacle course, zip-line, and dance party. An added bonus, Domino’s Pizza is just a few doors away making it extremely easy to order and pick up food for our guests. Overall, an excellent choice for a kids party!

We recently celebrated our daughter’s 9th birthday at Tumbles Fairfax. From start to finish, everything went smoothly and the kids had an absolute blast. The staff were friendly and engaging, making sure everyone was safe and having fun throughout the entire event. All the little details really made it so special. The tumble gym itself was clean, spacious, and filled with tons of fun activities that kept the kids entertained. She and her friends had a great time practicing flips, riding the zip line, racing through the obstacle course and playing games. The gym is well-maintained, and we really felt comfortable letting the kids explore and play. I highly recommend Tumbles Fairfax for anyone looking for a fun, safe, and memorable party experience!

This place is so good to a degree that I was even hesitant to share because I don’t want it to get too crowded! lol.

But here we go:

I first discovered it online through Google. I noticed the facilities look brand new and clean, which is something I really care about. Compared to many other kid’s gyms in this area, their website is easy to use. Quickly I discovered which class my kids should go and how I can book my first trial class. I think what a lot of competitors don’t realize is that the ease of use of the website is extremely important.

My baby (18 months old) loved the class. It was 50 mins but the staff changed the set ups every 10 mins, from obstacle course, to ball pit, to little vehicles, and so on. Honestly it’s so much work! I saw them literally sweating after hauling in and out of all the stuff.

Lani (later I learned is the daughter of the owner) is the sweetest person. She was so gentle yet exciting when talking to my baby. One of the reasons I take my baby to this class is to get her ready for daycare. So having a positive impression interacting with new adults and new babies is going to be super helpful and Tumble did that.

Finally I learnt that my baby can go in to free play time for no extra fee when signing up for classes. We live very close by so this is very handy. Free indoor playground. lol.

I literally signed up the same day. Looking forward to seeing my baby grow with Tumble.

Absolutely LOVED my daughter’s 6th birthday here! The owners are top notch, and the facilities are very clean. The friendly staff led a dynamic class for the kids to enjoy and helped serve pizza and cupcakes. Great experience. Highly recommend!

We LOVE this place! My daughter has tried a few other places and this is definitely her favorite! They have a great variety of different class types and not just gymnastics. My daughter is now doing Ninja Warrior classes and is obsessed! We also had her 6th birthday party there and the staff was AWESOME! They helped (did the majority) of the setting up the decorations we brought and helped with setting up food/passing out plates/etc through the whole thing! The best part...they did ALL of the cleanup!!! We didn't have to worry about any of that and could just focus on our daughter and guests :) (they even reminded me when my guests were leaving and I had forgotten all about the party favors to hand out). Super friendly staff! Highly recommend!

We have done classes, camps and birthday parties here- and LOVE it! The instructors are always the perfect blend of fun and patient with my crazy kiddos (ages 1-6 yo). There is so much to do for every age, and they do a great job of keeping class exciting and interesting. There is plenty of parent seating and space for siblings not in class. Plus, the whole space is so clean and well maintained!

My 1 year old loves going to tumbles classes so much that we decided to celebrate his 1st birthday there(they have birthday packages)! The classes are perfectly tailored for different age groups and this makes it to so much fun for him. It’s the perfect place for him to get a workout and use all of that active energy! Love also how the classes have very friendly staff and instructors that make it so welcoming for us to continue on going.

It was our first time coming to Tumbles as we did our son’s birthday party here. We found it on a random Google search and really had no idea what to expect. We were SO impressed with all aspects of this gym! From set up to clean up, the people at Tumbles were very helpful and considerate. The kids all had a blast playing in their open gym and doing all of the activities that were planned (obstacle course, dance party, etc). Another big plus was how clean and tidy it was! I know many parents worry about germs, especially during the cold season, so we loved how thorough they were with cleaning and disinfecting the tables and the gym area. And if you’re still not convinced to book this place, we got to have the gym all to ourselves, so having a private party made it relaxing and comforting for all of our guests. All in all to say, highly recommend this gym as the perfect place for your kid’s birthday party!

Tumbles earned my rare 5-star review! I typically only write reviews if I love a place, or hate it. I am so impressed with this place. The classes and staff are amazing, playroom is clean, and the kids love their setup. It was also the BEST place to host a birthday party. They are very accommodating, responsive, and flexible. My kid had the best party! If you're looking for a kids "gym" or birthday party venue in the Fairfax area, Tumbles is definitely worth a look. 🤩

We had an awesome experience at Tumbles! We had our son's fifth birthday there and were impressed with every aspect of the party. The facility was clean and well set up. There was plenty of staff to keep everyone safe and they were extremely friendly and interactive with all of the kids. They also had lots of activities planned to keep them busy and engaged for a solid 1.5 hours. We even forgot forks for cake and they had some to help us out. 10/10 would recommend.

Tumbles is great. I found out about it from an Instagram ad and sent my kids to a few days winter camp there. The facilities were clean, bright, and engaging with many different activities (both movement/gym based as well as other art/craft ones). It was enough space for there to be a lot to do but not overwhelming in the way most play spaces are (you didn't feel like you could lose your kids inside). The staff was all great too. Parking is easy in the parking lots, the space requires you to go inside the mall area and there is good signage to find it. Hope to be back soon.

I just had my almost 2-year-old’s birthday party here this weekend. And what an absolute great choice it was! Not only did the kids have free-range play when they arrived, but the staff also (somehow) got them all to participate in a group activity, including breaking out the ole parachute! The kiddos loved it and I noticed how the staff kept the kids engaged while being patient and kind with all the big emotions that cropped up at times. We then enjoyed a lunch together of the catering I brought in that they helped me set up with a dedicated food table. What really made this experience so great (for me) was the absolutely amazing staff that helped with set-up and tear down while I wrangled my toddler and attended my newborn. Literally we’d never have gotten all the balloons filled, tied, and strung around the room if it wasn’t for the staff doing the heavy lifting. Usually I have to direct people and instruct, but these girls were so on top of it I didn’t even need to pay attention to what they were doing because they just got to work without even needing to be asked, and they did a wonderful job decorating the space with all the things I had brought. Tearing down, they made no mention of all the cake and food everywhere from the gaggle of messy two year olds, but just cleaned it all up leaving me little to do but enjoy the time with friends. The space is entirely clean to my high standards, and clearly well-cared for! I wish we lived closer to take advantage of this place more often. Definitely coming back!

This place and its staff is beyond wonderful! Took my kids(ages 7 and 11) to try out a new place and they immediately loved it! They want to go back everyday. I also had my daughter's 11th birthday party there and it was a hit!! I love how the bday parties are very intimate and enjoyable vs other places are always trying to rush you out. The owners are awesome and really cater to the kids needs. I can't thank the coaches enough for doing such an amazing job at keeping the kids entertained and enjoy the time spent with them. It really shows when someone loves what they do. Highly recommended 👌

We hosted my daughter’s 2nd birthday party at Tumbles Fairfax. They were well staffed, kind, and attentive during the entire process and the party itself. We had kids ranging from one year olds to five year olds, and the coaches did a fantastic job of creating a party experience that was enjoyable for each and every kid. When it came time for pizza and cupcakes there was plenty of room for the kids and adults in the area with the tables. Highly recommend!

We are so excited to have found Tumbles! My daughter, 8 years old, loves practicing her gymnastics skills on the tumble track and bar during open gym. She also enjoys the challenge of the rock wall. I asked her what she loves most about Tumbles and she said it was because it was fun and “it’s really hard to get hurt.” I completely agree! With the soft surfaces and padding, the space definitely has safety in mind which is something I really appreciate as a parent. Overall, I think we’ve found our new favorite place! She already asked if she could have her next birthday party there. Definitely parent-and-kid-approved. 100% recommend!!

We recently visited Tumbles in Fairfax with my nephews, and I can’t say enough good things about this place! The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and clearly very well-trained. You can really see the owners’ passion for what they’re doing in the community—everything feels thoughtfully designed to create a positive and safe environment for kids. My nephews had an absolute blast exploring the gym, and we’re already planning to come back and join as members. It’s fantastic to have a place like this in Fairfax, and I highly recommend it to other families!

Exactly what the area needed!!!! Tumbles just opened up in University Mall across from GMU! Perfect kids gym with broad range of classes for toddlers to 12 yrs olds! I have an almost 2 yr old and a 9 yr old and they both love spending time here! The littlest is in the Wigglers class to encourage her motor and social skills and the eldest loves the Ninja Warrior classes! Highlight of the place-the zip line! So much fun! A MUST if you have kiddos!

This place was so much fun. We attended a birthday party for a young guy but kids of all ages were all entertained at the same time.

The setup was really nice for a party—tables, comfy benches and chairs, plenty of counter space (think bar with a wider counter to spread out all your stuff), clean and tidy bathrooms with kid friendly step stools. They had a cool back room with tables and fun games (that might have been part of the party) and great spots for photo ops.

The main play area had a lot of fun mats and bouncy stuff. My son loved the climbing wall.

The owners were incredibly kind. They’ve lived in the area off and on for a long time and know all there is to know about the neighborhood. There were lots of nearby kid food options—McDonald’s, giant, halal guys, etc.

The staff were all fun, energetic and made sure everyone was safe and having a good time.

It was nice that this wasn’t one of those massive places where you loose your kid or have to worry about someone grabbing them. It is smaller and more intimate.

My kids absolutely love it! The gym is clean, well-organized, and full of fun and engaging activities for children of all ages.

The staff is also incredibly friendly. They are always happy to help my kids with anything they need, and seem to genuinely happy to be there.

I would highly recommend this kids learning gym to any parent looking for a fun yet educational experience for their children. My kids have left every time with a big smile on their face.

We were lucky enough to be at Tumbles on its opening day today.

The facility is easy to find, super clean and fresh, and felt safe.

My 11, 8 & 7 yr old were all very entertained. The staff members were really fun and caring with the kids.

The family that owns the place was there and very welcoming. We loved that this was started by a military family.

One thing I loved was that this isn’t a mega-gym where you go cross-eyed trying to keep track of your kids. There was plenty of space for them to move around. They had a nice little gate so toddlers couldn’t run off. Adults could sit comfortably at counters and tables and still be able to see your kids.

Another cool feature that I haven’t seen elsewhere is they had lots of interchangeable ladders and hoops and bars you could hang from the ceiling, so options changed constantly for the kids. It was really fun.

My kids all asked if we could come back to do their birthday parties here. I’m considering doing a camp or after school class.

One more thing—another kid accidently bumped into my daughter and she started crying. The staff were well prepared and whipped out adorable little ice packs. She was back to playing in no time. I really appreciated them helping to cheer her up and feel better.
