I was visiting family and came to the soccer game at 0900 on 26AUG. As a former Army Ranger with six combat deployments I was happy to hear them play the national anthem. When it started I was in line at the concession stand. I turned toward the flag to honor over two dozen of my brothers that did not make it home and the ones that continue to die everyday from the demons left from those wars. It should have been a beautiful thing but instead the staff of the concession stand, one parent and her child decide to continue to LOUDLY complete their order while laughing and exchanging pleasantries. It is so sad to see a religious organization putting money before the men that died so they may collect that money tax free. There were children present ranging from 6-15 so now they believe the standard is money above all, to include their country and fallen veterans. 🇺🇸🎣🤙🏾
