I have been training 3x/week at WhittleStrength since February 2024, and I have noticed consistent muscle growth, added flexibility, and better posture with the personalized strength training program that has been carefully constructed for my goals. Amidst all my sports-related injuries and internal medicine roadblocks, we continue to find ways to train and get the most out of our sessions.

As an athlete training between in-season and off-season workout programs, Shane continues to optimize my workouts to be as effective and efficient as possible in order to address any pain points or areas of focus. He is never afraid to go the extra mile, think outside the box, or spend that extra few minutes talking through strategies. Having worked out at many gyms, personal trainers, and strength coaches throughout my life, I can say with full confidence that WhittleStrength beats them all across every category.

I have been a type 1 diabetic for 33 years and use to be the cardio queen. I was always struggling to keep my glucose balanced, struggling to keep weight off, was counting every calorie, and had no muscle tone. But I have worked with Shane for 3 years now and I am in the best shape of my life, both physically and mentally. I no longer do regular cardio; my hemoglobin A1C is great and my glucose is easier to control; I am super happy with the way my body looks and feels; and best of all, I pretty much eat whatever I want (in moderation of course)! The training and nutrition coaching from Shane is incredible. He doesn’t just treat you like a client, but he genuinely cares about each person; not only has he been my trainer, he’s been my therapist on occasion too… haha! I highly encourage everyone to check them out, and you’ll never want to go anywhere else!!

I have been working out at Whittle Strength for about a month and can genuinely say it is the best investment I’ve made in bettering myself - physically and emotionally. After the stress of work-grind, for an hour I get to completely tune everything out and just focus on the program. The gym is beautifully setup - spacious with top of the line equipment, lighting and colors. The best part of the gym is the people that it attracts - from beginners (like me) to the advanced, all of them have been very friendly and supportive. And I can’t say enough about the coaches - Shane and Sasha are very understanding, knowledgeable and their positive attitude and smile are infectious. And the whole process is designed to get the best out of you - with this Gym it can be summarized in one phrase - “Failure is not an option” :-). If you are on the fence, no matter what your fitness level, I think you owe it to yourself to just at least visit them for a try-out. At a minimum, you would have met the nicest people around.

I highly recommend Shane as a personal trainer. He takes the time to understand your goals, medical history, and unique needs. For example, he helped me understand why I was having difficulty losing weight due to hormonal imbalances and adjusted my training plan accordingly. There is no other gym that I have been to that has such a positive workout atmosphere and a welcoming / non-judgemental environment based on training abilities and fitness status. Shane is an incredible trainer with an upbeat attitude. Shane will take the time to come up with substitution exercises due to your athletic capabilities, strength or any body pain. The gym is very clean with top notch equipment! You don’t have to worry about big crowds, waiting to use the equipment, smelly gyms or old beat up equipment. And with a smaller crowd you’re able to build a great relationship with not only the trainers but the other clients as well. I highly recommend WhittleStrength!

I can't speak more highly of Shane. Personally, he a stand-up and approachable guy that can get along with anyone. He has all of the credentials you would want in a trainer and has been to some of the best classes in the industry. As a trainer he creates custom programming based on the individual client's goals, anthropometrics, and biomechanics. My experience is that he does not use a cookie cutter approach and tailors all aspects of the programming to the client he is working with. His personal gym is equipped with the best and most cutting edge equipment in the industry in my opinion (Every piece of Prime fitness equipment you would want). Combining Shane's gym, programming, coaching, and methods for training together has provided me with a great experience and I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

What can I say about Shane and WhittleStrength? That I'm grateful for his guidance, knowledge, patience and support in my fitness journey. Making a commitment to train is hard all by itself but I never dreaded going to train with Shane, It's a great environment to workout in, no judgments just support.

WhittleStrength is his own facility with top of the line fitness equipment. He custom tailors quality workouts that rotate regularly. I've been an active member of WhittleStrength since May 2022 and in this time frame Shane has helped me achieve my fitness goals. So far I've lost 20 lbs, a total of 4% body fat and it's only just beginning. I've now committed to a year with Shane because it's a no-brainer, I see results.
