Great instructors, super welcoming vibe, and classes that somehow manage to kick my butt and calm my nervous system at the same time. If you see me floating out afterward looking like I’ve achieved inner peace… just know it was absolutely the cool lavender towel.

Incredible studio! I’ve been a member for 2 years and have loved every minute of it. Love the variety of classes & the instructors feel like your friends. I appreciate that they take the time to correct our technique and providing a cool towel at the very end!

Yogasix has quickly become my favorite yoga studio! The classes are challenging yet approachable. I love that they have everything you need on hand - including mats if you forget yours! They also mix up their morning classes so that you're not stuck taking the same class each day/week like many other studios. My favorite part though has to be Christina. She is a ray of sunshine. SO kind and paces her classes so well.

I did my very first class here today. Sam was my instructor. She was wonderful and very calming to do hot yoga express with. She even gave me a small gift when leaving since it was my first time ever. The Soave is very clean and a nice vibe. I will definitely be booking more classes

I really enjoy the classes and the variety they offer. I’ve worked with 3 instructors, Christina, Sam and Amber and they’ve been great… enthusiastic and attentive. I go at least once a week and have for over a year now, since I moved to Richmond.

It’s good, but with a few tweaks could be even better. First of all, I would like to say the staff are kind, but it makes me super uncomfortable to come into class and see someone with a tripod set up. Not everyone consents to being in the background of your recording for influencer content, esp in this atmosphere where ppl are just trying to get a workout in.
I also didn’t love signing up for a hot yoga class, and not receiving notice that this class had changed to a twerk class…??? I double checked when I got home and sure enough- I did NOT sign up for a twerk class! The description was a normal hot yoga class. It seems everyone else in the class knew about this except for me. I guess you’re out of the loop and not included in these insights if you aren’t part of some secret club. Please make ALL patrons aware when you do this for those of us who work full time and aren’t checking your social media or have some secret insight this yoga class was going to be a twerk class all of a sudden.
Next, I understand everything is expensive these days. But I feel the price is a bit excessive to not even include a shower. The expectation is you live at one of the apartments right next door and can go home and shower, but that’s not the case for everyone. I hope you can take these comments into consideration.
Edit: yes, I am sure this is the right studio. not sure why there is confusion on that when these are all relevant things to your studio. have a great day. 😊

YogaSix is an amazing studio that radiates positivity and community from the moment you walk in. The space is always spotless, the atmosphere is calming yet energizing, and everyone greets you with a genuine smile.
Christina, the owner and an instructor, has built something truly special here. She’s created an environment that feels inclusive and supportive, yet still encourages you to challenge yourself when you’re ready. She helps you get the most out of your practice (always motivating, never pushy). Crystal is also a fantastic instructor with a calm, grounded, yet uplifting energy. Mike is another who’s super down to earth and leads a great class. Really all of the coaches bring their own unique strengths and styles, so every class leaves you feeling stronger, clearer, and more centered than when you arrived.
If you’re looking for a yoga studio that’s clean, welcoming, and genuinely cares about your growth on and off the mat, YogaSix is the place to be.

Yoga 6 is my go-to yoga studio in Richmond! The instructors are so friendly, I love the variety of classes (from more cardio/strength workout to traditional yoga to relaxing stretching), and the space is super clean! The instructors show each move, will give modifications, and make you feel welcome.

I've been going to YogaSix Scott's Addition since they opened. There is a good balance between strength and stretching and every class focuses on mindful breathing with movement. The instructors are thoughtful and offer modification and encouragement. I especially love that Y6 has a 4:45 class-it motivates me to leave work and have a clear reset before the rest of my evening.

I absolutely love YogaSix RVA! The instructors are all so welcoming and encouraging — they really help you find your rhythm no matter your level. The whole vibe in the studio is calm, friendly, and energizing at the same time. I’d recommend starting with the Power Flow class to build strength and confidence, then treat yourself to a Restore class — it’s the perfect way to unwind and reset. This place has become one of my favorite parts of the week

I love YogaSix! I’ve been coming for a few years now. The studio has a great variety of class types and an extensive schedule. I especially like that I can take more traditional yoga classes as well as mix in some classes that use weights and TRX. The teachers are skilled and welcoming. Also the studio is easy to access off the interstate and Broad Strret plus parking.

YogaSix is the BEST studio in Richmond. Not only are the staff welcoming and inclusive to yogis of all styles & levels, the studio is extremely clean and there are numerous types of classes to choose from every day of the week. I've practiced yoga for 10+ years and spent over 1000+ hours practicing yoga in different studies around Richmond, DC, and Atlanta and can confidently say YogaSix Scott's Addition is a TOP TIER environment and choice for anyone that wants to make yoga a part of their daily routine. Added bonus is parking is easy for those that drive to and from the studio. Two thumbs up and so glad I found such a motivating and positive place to practice! Thank you, YogaSix! 🥰

YogaSix Scott’s Addition has such a different vibe compared to other studios I’ve visited around Richmond. Some places can feel a little stiff or “too perfect” — like you’re walking into a space that’s more about image than connection. This studio is the opposite. From the moment you step inside, the décor, the energy, and the people make it feel like home.
I love all of the teachers here, so much I decided to teach here too. Each one brings their own unique personality and style, but the common thread is how genuinely supportive and welcoming they are. It’s not just about getting a workout in — it’s about community. We celebrate each other’s progress, encourage each other on the tough days, and laugh together more than you’d expect in a yoga class together students and teachers.
There’s something really refreshing about finding a space where you don’t have to put on a front — you can show up exactly as you are and still feel seen, encouraged, and uplifted. YogaSix Scott’s Addition has become that kind of sanctuary for me, and I’m so grateful for it.

Not the best first experience; front desk girl was sweet, but felt lost and not super welcomed by instructor. The class was definitely catered toward people who were experienced, and this includes just general flow of the class (what items to grab, where to return items at end of class, wiping equipment, etc). The expectation for the class was that you should already know what to do.

Yogasix is addictive! I started randomly through classpass and I somehow keep going back even though I almost passed out my first class??(Come hydrated! Please!! It👏🏾 Is 👏🏾H.O.T.👏🏾). The instructors are very kind and very holistic-minded which makes a huge difference when you're being pushed in the workout classes. Usually, intense classes make me feel really self conscious when I hit my limit and the vibe here is the opposite - I have somehow been practicing my self-compassion muscle while struggling through the classes here?? Now I've burned through my classpass credits, the classes are no longer discounted and I'm considering a standalone membership...ugh 😤😫 in this economy?!! I guess so. I've been really enjoying how I feel after each class lol 😅.
Now, is this "real" Yoga? Probably not. They feel more like a Yogi's favorite workout class to sweat it out. The instructors do feel like real yogis though, they remind you to find your breath, to listen to your body, they invite you into full and/or meditative rest at the end. (I only had one so-so instructor so far and I think she's new/in training). So, yah give it a try! your body and the inner critic in your brain will probably thank you. Your wallet will probably curse you out 🫠

I’ll admit—I was and have always been skeptical about yoga. It just never seemed like my thing. But thanks to Christina at Yoga Six, I decided to give it a try, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
Not only did I experience the physical benefits—improved flexibility, strength, and overall fitness—but I also gained a new appreciation for the mental clarity and relaxation that yoga brings. It’s been a game-changer, and I owe it all to Christina’s encouragement.
If you’re on the fence about yoga, trust me—go talk to Christina. She has a way of making yoga approachable, challenging, and incredibly rewarding. Yoga Six is lucky to have her, and so are the rest of us who get to learn from her!

Transformational Yoga Studio Experience!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this yoga studio! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a serene yet invigorating atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The instructors are nothing short of incredible—highly skilled, deeply passionate, and genuinely invested in your personal journey.
What truly sets this studio apart is the full sensory experience they’ve created. The lighting is perfectly curated—soft, calming hues during restorative moments and dynamic bursts of energy during flow sequences. The entire atmosphere feels fun, fresh, and completely uplifting, making every class feel like a mini retreat for your mind, body, and soul.
This isn’t just yoga; it’s an experience. If you’re looking for a space to move, breathe, and truly connect, this studio is an absolute must. Five stars aren’t enough!
Let me know if you’d like me to adjust anything.

YogaSix Scotts has become my favorite studio in RVA. When i moved here, i needed a studio close to home, one that offered a variety of classes and teachers, one that was affordable, and held a sense of community. Y6 Scotts addition checked all my boxes! Christina is amazing, and this studio ensures that everyone can enjoy yoga no matter their experience level. You will meet new people, grow in your practice, and grow with yourself. I highly recommend!! They even offer great merchandise and yoga wear for sale in their studio and also host retreats and workshops if you are looking for something even more! Thank you for being my home studio Y6 Scotts!

YogaSix Scott’s Addition is awesome! I’m new to yoga and all of the instructors are super nice and helpful. The space is clean and in a brand new building. I’ve been to a dozen or more classes and they are almost always full, so others must also like the place. Don’t worry though, as long as you book online there will be a space for you. It’s nice that they have hot yoga, but there are a variety of classes if hot isn’t your thing. Check it out!

I recently had a communication with YogaSix and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. The studio's level of professionalism leaves a lot to be desired. From the start it was clear that organization, communication and care about their clientele is not their strong suit.
Customer care is non-existent. When I had a concern, I was told I was the problem, and my feedback was brushed off. It felt like my comfort and well-being were not a priority at all. I hope they take steps to improve their service and client relations, as the potential for a great studio is definitely there.

I love this yoga studio!! All of the instructors I’ve had are wonderful and welcoming - it really does feel like you can meet them at any experience level and have no problem.
I’ve also had a great experience with the customer service/office side of this studio location. With a variety of classes, you can always find something that fits your needs for the day. I love having the “Sculpt & Flow” class option — since I don’t feel comfortable lifting weights, doing Boot Camp, or HIIT workouts at the gym. Ok, so this place is nothing about Yoga. It is yogasize, exercise doing yoga poses. No breath work, no mind body connection. The music is ridiculously loud for any kind of class, so instructor uses a mike to compete against it. There is nothing resembling Yoga here. The owner said they were modernized Yoga. What. A. Crock. No such thing. Just be honest and call it YogaSize. It is really disappointing that people will go here and think they are doing Yoga.
