If you’re new and considering this gym, do not waste your time with their so-called “guest pass.” Their website clearly advertises a free 3-day trial, but when we showed up, the staff tried to charge us $30 for a single guest pass. That’s not a “trial” — that’s a bait-and-switch.
They wasted my time, gas, and energy with false advertising. Instead of welcoming potential new members with honesty, they tried to squeeze money out of us for something that was supposed to be free. My husband and I were so turned off by the lack of integrity that we walked away and signed up with LA Fitness instead.
When you run a business, integrity is everything. If you can’t trust a gym to be truthful about something as simple as a guest pass, how can you trust them with contracts, billing, or memberships? Very disappointed in this location.

I originally signed up for a full year membership, paying in advance because I was excited to get the best deal. Unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating and unsatisfactory:
1. I was rescheduled once, which I accepted without issue.
2. I was then no showed for my appointment a second time, which left me feeling disregarded.
3. When I asked to cancel my membership due to these repeated issues, neither of the two employees I spoke with showed concern or offered an apology. Instead, I was told simply, “you are cancelled” with no explanation of the process or what to expect regarding my refund.
4. When I called back about my refund, I spoke with an employee who told me that “the computer is not showing it yet” and that he did not know how much I would be refunded. When I asked for a manager, I was given no information or way to escalate.
This experience has not only been poor customer service but has also left me with unanswered questions about my refund and membership status.
I hope this matter can be resolved promptly and professionally

I’m extremely disappointed in the condition of this gym. The women’s locker room is consistently neglected — floors and showers full of hair, uncleaned surfaces, and a general lack of care. The hot tub is honestly disgusting, not somewhere you’d want to relax, and the sauna is even worse. It’s dirty, with literal gum stuck inside, and overall feels completely unsanitary.
For a company that charges membership fees and promotes itself as a health and fitness facility, the lack of cleanliness is unacceptable. It’s clear the spaces are not being maintained properly, and as a paying member, it makes me question where our money is going.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because members deserve a clean, safe, and hygienic environment — especially in locker rooms and wellness areas.

It’s dirty! Half of the paper towel dispensers are out of paper towels. All the time! Also the stations that are supposed to have sanitization spray bottle, either don’t have a bottle there or the bottle is empty. There should be like every month or two months or every quarter that they come in and clean machines from top to bottom and you can see that they haven’t been cleaned since they were put in.

Racist facility. They deny people of color a 3-day pass. I signed up for a 3-day pass online, I was qualified to use one. When I got there I told the lady at the front that I have a 3-day pass, she responds, “you too” with an attitude. She said I can’t use the pass. However there was a white lady who had a pass as well and they let her use it. So I just signed up for a membership because I had a whole workout planned. Even when I signed up the lady was still giving me a hard time. I went a couple more times & saw them denying people of color the 3-day pass. They literally have it marketed online. The facility is gross too, used band-aids laying around the pool. Dirty locker rooms floors. The steam room hasn’t been working ever since I’ve joined, what a waste.

I need to edit my review for the Tacoma location, August 7th 2025 when I first went to Tacoma it was okay gym about 5 months ago, now every time I go no matter what time of day there’s no working spray bottles or paper towels, I’ll go to 4 different ones and they’ll all be empty or the spray doesn’t work! The cycle room floor for some reason is always wet and sticky, no one puts their dumbbells away they leave them in the cycle room. Also many times the bathrooms have no toilet seat covers. It can take the front desk people 2-3 min to make sure there’s paper or exchange the spray bottles but all they do is chat with people at the front or be on their phone. So far I prefer the Issaquah location but it’s so far away for me. I’m thinking if I should cancel 24 fitness because it’s expensive and not good. Grown adults don’t care to clean after themselves which affects everyone.
I just got this gym membership, I haven’t been to the gym for over a year. I like this gym, in the mornings around the time I go it’s not busy.
The only bad things I’ve noticed so far this week since I’ve started going daily are, the sauna needs to be cleaned more often because the floor is always black & has brown stuff on it. The wood bench was also loose/broken & kept hitting my leg when someone sat down.
The spray bottles for cleaning suck they don’t spray correctly & one of the paper towel holders hasn’t been fixed for 2 days, the paper is jammed. So I thought during daily cleaning they would have fixed that. Simple things, other than that it’s a nice gym.

As an ADA member who relies on the assistance of a helper during most of my visits, I’m extremely disappointed with the consistent lack of awareness and preparedness from both the staff and management at 24 Hour Fitness.
Each time I come in with my helper, no one at the front desk or in management seems to understand the policies related to ADA support personnel. Today’s experience was especially frustrating. I arrived with my helper and asked for the standard waiver process. Instead of a quick and smooth check-in, we waited over 20 minutes while the front desk scrambled to figure out what to do.
After 25 more minutes of no clear answers, I had to approach the manager myself—who, shockingly, also lacked clear knowledge of the ADA helper process. Instead of focusing on resolving the issue, the manager began sharing personal stories about his own caregiving experience, as though that somehow justified the confusion. He also told me I should’ve come to his office to ask for help more politely, rather than simply expecting staff to know and follow their own gym policies.
For clarity, all I needed was this:
My helper must provide a valid State ID
Vendor or employee number
Sign a waiver
That process should take 5 minutes, not 45 minutes of listening to unrelated stories, overhearing phone conversations with his wife, or waiting while the manager admits he hasn’t trained his team adequately. This isn’t just poor customer service—it’s an accessibility issue and a failure to meet basic ADA accommodation standards.
24 Hour Fitness needs immediate training for its staff on ADA compliance, clear and posted policies, and managers who can stay professional and focused on the needs of their members—not their own personal history.

I got a guest pass to come and see this 24-hour gym. The website and the texts received, with directions for the guest pass say to simply bring my ID to the front desk to check in. The kid at the front desk told me there's a new policy requiring a tour for every guest pass. Since there was "no one else available" to tour me or hold the front desk down, he told me I just had to leave. If this is true, why isn't it on the guest pass directions? and why was I just told to up and leave. Bad experience, won't be back. Be careful using a guest pass the new rule may be used to just turn around right back out the door. 24-hours should mean 24-hours.

This gym is an absolute hot mess. It’s filthy, neglected, and honestly unsafe — the sauna is basically a biohazard at this point. I genuinely don’t think it’s ever been cleaned. There’s fungus, broken equipment, and an overall feeling that no one in charge cares about basic hygiene or maintenance.
Meanwhile, the staff — who seem like they’re at least trying — are forced to focus on the wrong priorities. I usually go with my husband as his “Buddy Pass” guest and have never had an issue. Suddenly, I was stopped and asked for an ID. I didn’t have it on me or on my phone. I’m literally the only person on his pass.
It’s absurd how strict they want to get about checking IDs while the sauna grows new life forms and the machines are falling apart. My husband was so fed up he canceled our membership on the spot — and I don’t blame him.
Here’s an idea: clean your gym, fix your equipment, and keep it sanitary. Then you can worry about nitpicking buddy passes and IDs. Until then, we’ll gladly take our money elsewhere.

5/5 for being a 24 hour gym.
5/5 for reasonable cost for all the amenities they offer.
5/5 for an amazing staff just so friendly.
3/5 for personal training wish I had a full body assessment along with a full monthly workout plan or some type of workout format so I can stay consistent. Other than that I love the personal trainer. Just wish there was more to the personal training program and my opinion..
2/5 Cleanliness, I understand when I was there there was a new General manager by the name of David London and he has been trying desperately to get the facility in top-notch shape and I think he’s been a great job with that.
3/5 for equipment, majority of them have been broken down since I’ve been there other than that, the machines are great many variations of workout machines. I give this gym, a four out of five in general. Paul is amazing great person to talk to about your fitness journey Chris was my personal trainer and he does pushes you to get to your body goals. The front staff is amazing and the housekeeper crew are amazing as well I wish I could have stayed but I had to move wish you all the best and thank you David for helping me understand fitness you put it in away that anyone can understand

Equipment is often broken or well on it's way to being so. For example, both the peck deck and a free motion cable machine has had a wobbly arm for at least 2 years straight now. Paper towel dispensers and disinfectant sprays are also empty most of the time. More recently, this location has also implemented a rule not allowing people to keep their gym bags with them due to theft, which is inconvenient. But at least the staff tends to be nice, I've never had an issue with any of them.

I generally do not leave negative reviews—but this incident was a violation of basic respect and decency, and I must speak out.
I’m a working professional and a mother. I brought two minors from my family (under 18) with me to the pool at 24 Hour Fitness—something I’ve done before without issue. Suddenly, I was told the “buddy system” now requires registration. Though surprised, I cooperated and attempted to complete the process.
However, staff were unprofessional and contradictory—first saying age didn’t matter, then insisting one of the minors was too young. Their own policies weren’t clear to them, and their attitude quickly escalated the situation. One employee displayed visible frustration, while the manager dismissed my concerns entirely and became verbally aggressive when I calmly asked for clarification.
When I requested to speak to someone else or get contact information for a supervisor, I was ignored. Then, shockingly, the staff threatened to call the police—in front of my children—simply because I asked for help and no longer wanted to speak with the aggressive employees.
This was an extreme overreaction and abuse of power. I recorded much of the incident for my protection. One new staff member was polite and even apologized for his coworkers’ behavior, which I deeply appreciated.
We left peacefully, but my family and I were left hurt, shocked, and deeply disappointed. Calling the police over a calm conversation about unclear policy is unacceptable. No resolution was offered, and no contact information was provided as requested.
I sincerely hope 24 Hour Fitness takes this matter seriously. We await a proper response before deciding on next steps.

I want to know why the gym was at “call the health dept” levels of disgusting today when I went in. The steam room had actual mud on the ground, lights were literally out all over the aquatics center, no paper towels or sanitizer bottles stocked, trash allllll over the shower and locker areas. The corporate teams sitting at home on zoom need to hire MORE cleaning staff and pay them more and support their in house staff MORE. Nobody is gonna put up with this level of gross as a job and I 100 percent blame the corporate level.
David has been a big help in turning around a lot so I know he’s doing the best he can. I’ve worked corporate. This is y’all’s fault.

Many thanks to the new manager for his hard work in making this gym more safe, more secure, and more clean than it has been in the last 2 years I have been a member here. I have not seen trash or garbage in the saunas and I use them nearly every day. And to be fair, why are the members leaving trash (towels) and water bottles in the sauna? Because they are using them to manipulate the thermostat, which breaks the sensor. There are signs warning the members to NOT do this!

So I thought the recommend a company that I worked with professionally
We chit chat it for a long time about how the pools maintained on the property give me a glimpse behind the curtain

I've been going to this gym for approximately a year. I saw a lot of machines go out of service or break down. The staff turnover was high, and the people just didn't seem to care as much as they should.
Then the new manager came in. In the last 3ish months I've watched as many of the machines that were down came back online. I've seen the manager there to the late hours of the night. I'm one of the middle of the night gym goers. Trust me, I'm saving your eyes as much as saving my mind. When things are brought up that need repair, they get taken care of. It may not always happen quickly, but it does happen. Most of the equipment is functional, the staff cares, and I see people maintaining the location. There's stuff that needs fixing still, but when equipment is used 24/7 machines will never be 100%. At the same time, the gym is never occupied to the point where you won't get to use the equipment you're looking for at some point during your work out.

I’ve been coming to this 24 hr fitness since January 2020. I remember talking to the new GM (who I didn’t know at the time I just thought he worked there) I remember saying “yeah, it’s messy but i think it’s not terrible considering it IS a 24hr place” and I remember he said something along the lines of how it could be better and that it will be. And let me just say, he’s a man of his words. This man is out here PHYSICALLY scrubbing between each machine cracks & crevices literally WHILE on his knees and all just to make up for the years of dirt that has build up & neglected. I applaud him and wanted to make this post because he deserves to know his hard work is showing! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a GM care for their gym like how he has in the few months / weeks that he’s taken over. And mind you, I’ve been going to multiple gyms in the last 10+ years. Excited to see all the new changes that are for the better!

Avoid storing items in the locker room. This is the second time that my wallet has been robbed of my cash and credit cards. Not the keys, but Why, I wonder? I was at fault the first time since I neglected to lock the locker. But even though I had a lock on this second time (04-12-25), it was still broken into. When I inquired at the front desk, I was informed that another man had just minutes before reported the same incident. I asked a few other guests as well, and they said that it's more common than not.

I've been a member since opening day 8 year ago, I've seen it brand new and I've seen it degrade overtime. No exaggeration, I've watched as the treadmills suffered complete breakdowns at the rate of about 2 per year. Its been on a slow decline in cleanliness and quality since covid.
But finally the place has been improving both in fixed machines and noticibly cleaner areas. It's night and day from the state of things at the start of the year and basically since the place reopened after covid. I was close to giving up hope and finding a new gym, but it looks like there's new management and it shows. Grateful to see the place do a 180.

The lockers and showers are disgusting. The steam room is always smelling nasty and no one really picks up the trash inside both the sauna and the steam room. And the tiles inside of the steam room they feel slimy and are full of scum. I’ve been avoiding using those areas more and more now. We have mentioned to staff several times and they have not been doing anything about it. It is unacceptable since members are paying a membership fee and we are not getting what we are paying for. Also it is breeding grounds for bacteria and diseases. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Signed up for a two-year membership with 24 Hour Fitness in November 2023 during a promotional offer on their website. Despite paying for two years upfront, I’ve been unable to use my membership.
When I visited the gym to resolve the issue, the manager said he wasn’t there in 2023 and couldn’t verify past promotions. Instead of honoring what I already paid for, he told me I would have to pay an additional $300 and then sign up for a new membership, completely disregarding the original agreement.
This experience has been frustrating and feels like a bait-and-switch. I wouldn’t recommend signing up unless you’re prepared for potential billing issues and poor customer service.
P.S. Nah, I’m not giving more details. The time for that was when I spoke to your staff in person, and they denied me. Now, you can speak with your horrible managers and staff. Also, shoutout to Katie—not even the person I interacted with that day—for how poorly she treated other guests in just the 10 minutes I stood at the front.

I have a 24 membership so I only need 1 gym membership as a live half time in two states. Unfortunately, I have to use the Tacoma 24 hour fitness to get exercise. For the 1.5 years I’ve been coming here, only 1-3 of the 9ish stairmasters work at a time. There aren’t enough treadmills, and all that’s left are ellipticals that no one uses anymore. Oh where to begin!
This review is strictly for management and corporate to be able to see. 2 weeks ago I came in to your location at 38th and Pacific I have been a member in the past and was always very much okay with the gym.
Recently I became a below-the-knee amputee and unfortunately because of this I became homeless on top of losing my father. I decided to join the gym because the shelter where I stay does not have an adequate shower for me to use I simply have a hard time getting in and out of my wheelchair to shower. So I rejoined this particular gym and I must say that I am completely and utterly disgusted by what I saw. And more than that I'm highly offended.
The gym was completely filthy dirt everywhere from the floors to the machines to the walls and when I say dirt I mean physical dirt from the outside that you could see perfectly with the naked eye just standing in front of it. Trash overflowing trash all over the floor you go into the restrooms and the locker room and there's trash all over the floor dirty used clothing all over the floor as well that has been abandoned hair products all sorts of nasty used tissue.
When I tried to use the handicap shower that was a joke first of all that shower is not meant for anybody in a wheelchair it's not big enough and there's no way anybody can get from a wheelchair and into that shower. The shower was also broke there was no handle to turn the water on. And when I went to the front to let them know they direct me to the unisex bathroom and when I walk in there it's just as filthy.
I have already filed a complaint with the Pierce county health department on the sanitation of this facility and they have made me aware that they have paid a visit to this location and found some of the same concerns.
Clearly corporate and management do not care about the condition of this gym therefore until something is done I will continuously contact the health department and keep making reports and they've assured me that every report is investigated.
I've seen many times where somebody has responded as the company for some of the same reviews telling people that they care about the safety and health of everyone in their facility but I must say given how many comments over the last year that have been left I find that pretty hard to believe

This gym is DIRTY. The women’s bathroom is usually pretty clean but the floors, mirrors, machines, corners of the walls, etc.. DIRTY. Oh and why is everything always broken??? Machine's, water fountains, and lockers, are constantly broken. And the HVAC system is AWFUL! Why is it so hot in there! During the colder months the cycling room was super cool, I’d go in there to stretch and cool down. But now? Forget it! Stretching in either one of the rooms is awful. It’s like the a/c doesn’t work in certain areas? I really only like this gym because of the hours and the size of the facility.

I’ve come here for over 4 years now and cleanliness has always been an issue, but the poop in the shower was the last straw.
The machines and weights are fine and they have a huge selection, which is great; everything else about this gym is not great. To start off, there are break-ins in the parking lot every day, and people get their cars stolen right out of the parking lot because the gym security cameras don’t watch the parking lot (I would know, my car was broken into for a sweatshirt and there was no video). While it's unfortunate that kind of stuff happens, I get you can’t always be watching the parking lot.
Something they CAN watch is the locker room, but they refuse to. It is utterly appalling how disgusting the locker room, bathrooms, and showers are. There are urine stain trails that go down the urinals and wall behind them. They NEVER clean the showers. I know they never clean the showers because there is BLACK MOLD (toxic to breathe) growing in every single one – black mold takes a long time to grow. There is a ton of hair and trash in every shower. There is trash all over the locker room floor. Every single shower will run out of soap and they won’t be filled up for 2 weeks. And then today, the straw that broke the camel’s back, was the literal feces I saw in two of the showers (Photo attached). This place is absolutely ridiculous, and to top it off, homeless people just walk straight in without checking in to smoke and do drugs in the locker room.
This explains their awful 1.18/5 Better Business Bureau rating with 225(!) complaints registered in the last year. Look at every recent review. Everyone feels this way and nothing is being done to address it.
When I first started coming here, they were looking for a new manager and the gym has gone downhill ever since. They don't care about the health and safety of their patrons.
I used to work at an aquatic center, and if I had left the locker rooms how this gym leaves their locker rooms, I would have been fired in a week. I have no idea how this place hasn’t been shut down by the health department. Save your money and go to another gym that actually cleans.

Edit Sunday May 26th
For the first time in years we missed going to the gym last Saturday. I am completely and utterly disgusted this morning. Walk in and the floors are worse than usual. Put down my exercise mat on the floor. Then I notice my hair on the floor. I have super long hair all the way down my back. 2 strands right by where I normally work out. This means this floor hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. We are finally ready to cancel our membership. Been a member since 2008! But nope! No longer will support this company. Plus the machine I like is still broken after speaking to management over and over.
Complaining falls on deaf’s ears. I have went to 24 hour fitness locations for 15 years now. This location is getting worse and worse. I miss the Lakewood and Olympia location. Both were always clean. I complain every single weekend about all 3 of one machine I enjoy being broken. Am reassured that they have a maintenance order in to get them fixed. Really? For 3 years every weekend I put in the same damn complaint! Nope!
The bathrooms are always disgusting. They have been saying for 3 years that it will get better. The floor where people stretch and do abs are so disgusting that you can’t even clean it enough as a gym patron to work out. I don’t understand how so many people can work in this gym and all gather and gossip but not a single one takes enough pride to clean. If you clean your floors and equipment enough then the people who work out in your gym clean up after themselves because you set the example. Today I hit my max when I tried myself to clean the floor enough to workout and couldn’t get it clean enough. I hate to have to change my clothes right after just to get in my car cuz you wear people’s dog hair and weeks of lint and dirt wads just by getting on the floor in a designated place to stretch. I have lost hope and faith that this location will ever be any better than it currently is. It clearly doesn’t uphold the standards of other 24 hour fitness’s. We paid a whole year in advance this time. Such a shame cuz we go to another gym during the week due to how gross the upkeep is on this one and only come here on Saturdays. Yet to still be disappointed. Completely over it!

The gym really has fallen apart in the last year. I don’t know what happened the manager is cool and when he first started here a few years ago he was doing a great job! Now it’s so dirty all the machines are broken or don’t properly work. High schoolers everywhere. I really don’t mind kids coming to workout but it’s been literally groups of people like 3-5 all working out together making the gym so crammed. Never parking but seems like there aren’t even that many people in the gym. It really just seems like they gave up on this gym. It was so nice when they first opened up. Now it’s gross and broken.

Here today and 1 out of 9 of the stairmasters are working. It's been like this since I started coming months ago. I've been told the parts are difficult to find for repair. The clubs in Redmond and Bothell have newer models so I'm assuming the parts are hard to find because they don't make them for these old machines anymore. How can you spend so much on one location and not another? It's honestly disrespectful. The members here pay just as much as anyone else. I have contacted corporate with no response. It's not a good look for this company. Would change gyms if any around here were any better.
Edit 3/24: Updated from 1 star to 4, they actually fixed quite a few of the stairmaster machines! A couple are still down and there are still out of order signs on other machines around the place, thats why I'm not giving 5 stars. But very happy to see they are working on it!

This would be a 5 star gym if they could get the place cleaned properly. The pool and hot tub constantly have grime built up, the locker rooms have lots of dust and dirt, hairballs, and who knows what else all over the floor, and the gym is maybe the dirtiest basketball court I’ve seen in years. If they cleaned it up consistently this place would be 5 stars, easily!
Update 07/02/2022: still not clean. This is in the corner of the basketball court. Bottles of water and cans of energy drinks all over the perimeter the court. This is ignoring the state of the locker rooms, the pool, the hot tub, and the steam room. All have a layer of grime on them despite the three employees congregated at the front desk and the one employee that does laps around the facility with spray bottles in hand but doesn’t actually clean anything. Further news as events warrant.
Update 02/01/2024: someone pulled a gun out on the basketball court while I was in the gym and proceeded to take it into the parking lot and shoot at the car of the person they were mad at before driving off. I was in the gym when this happened and the staff member on site didn’t even call the cops. I called the next day to cancel my membership and the person I spoke with said they didn’t hear anything about it and had no clue. Furthermore - nothing at this gym got better in the 18 months I went there. The swimsuit dryer never got fixed, things only got more dirty over time, and the staff just rotates with the exception of the manager who is clearly checked out when it comes to insuring that they put out a quality product. This whole place is a dumpster fire. Don’t let the cheap price entice you, there are far better options for not too much more money.
Just look at the reviews with responses from the last 9 months about how they “plan to improve” and “want to be better” but it’s has looked this way the whole time I was there. Please, avoid at all costs. You’re saving your time and money at the very least and, potentially, your life.

This gym has quickly spiraled downhill (especially the last year) and we’re officially on the look for a new gym. Almost all of the stairmasters are broken and have been for a very long time. I don’t think they have any plans on fixing or replacing them. The women’s restrooms are also always filthy. Joined the gym for the hours and pool. Unfortunately, it's never not busy. Which by itself isn't bad, but quite a few are just not working and most others are taken by people who take about 15 mins between reps (exaggeration - but seriously, most are just texting). Just know before you join, it's not for those who just want to get in and get out. Now the tedious process of canceling... definitely an overall disappointment.

I have recently posted a review about how disgusting, filthy ,dirty this establishment really is and I was reading other reviews and I've noticed how generic the response from the so called management appears. Customer service , and a healthy sanitary environment, is not a concern at all obviously. The filth is mind blowing... obviously there is no concern for customer service, or concern to health of customers or to provide a clean ,friendly sanitary environment I am currently fighting to get out of my newly acquired year gym membership because there is no way I feel comfortable going back to such a disgusting facility. Health inspectors should make a drop in inspection. they wouldn't have to look very hard or very far to find great concerns for the public in these areas. The Establishment is completely disgusting. I had never had or purchased a gym membership before prior to joining 24-Hour Fitness so I wasn't really knowledge about proper gym sanitation, cleanliness and etiquette. My eyes were opened up when I went to the gym with a workout buddy that has had years of gym establishment experience and my eyes became widely open to how the gym equipment, floors, pool ,locker rooms and establishment was so very unsanitary , unclean, and very disgusting I'm extremely disappointed because now I'm in this gym membership for a year.I was so disgusted I don't even want to go back. Then I thought well maybe I'm the only one that has this issue, lesson learned read reviews prior to committing yourself to a gym membership. I have found out that I am not the only one that was morbidly disgusted with the very unsanitary, disgusting establishment of 24-Hour Fitness. I was recently attacked at this facility. I was thrown to the ground and choked. The police came are currently working on the assault case. This gym has a complete lack of concern for the safety of its members. They lack sufficient cameras as well as only prioritizing profit over safety. They only had one employee working with at least 50, if not more, individuals working out at that time. There is an insane amount of drug use in and around the gym especially in the parking lot. The GM, Israel, has been extremely rude and in fact tried to say I had a hand in the altercation even though I said nothing to the person who attacked except No when he told me to give him the weights. I have never been so insulted when he tried to put some of the blame on me. I was literally tackled from behind and I did nothing but sprawl and prevent this individual from choking me. I never said anything to him except no and to get off of me. How dare this individual victim blame me because he was mad I had contacted the BBB? I did so because of the lack of concern. I have reached out to legal representation as well as opening an assault case against the individual who attacked. I strongly suggest going to a gym that actually cares for the safety of their members as well as a gym that has a clean facility machines that actual work instead of this this 24 hour fitness.

Stuck here for a year. The gym isn’t clean. The yoga/athletic room never gets swept so you see dirt, dust and hair all along the sides.
There are huge gnats around the hot tub and dead ones float in the hot tub, pool is cold, sauna room floor is disgusting, never go bare foot in either. I never go bare foot or stand in either the hot or wet sauna. Bathrooms need more frequent cleaning and shower stalls repaired. Cleanest room is probably the cycle room since it’s dark and you can’t see anything.
Front desk are just hanging out.
I paid for National/gold, how do you determine who has silver? I’m guessing you there’s no determination and they just go by the honor system. If that’s the case, what’s the point in getting gold if anyone can use the pool, hot tub and saunas?

When I joined a club, I gave it 5 stars because the pool was clean, staff was very friendly, shower room was also clean.
I am a senior citizen intermediate swimmer who does 45 minutes to 1 hour lap swimming every 2 to 3 days a week.
I am now giving 1 star, and the reasons I stated are below.
(1) Seeing too many (I would say, maybe about 70%) people DID NOT SHOWER before into water. After the sauna, you know that you have detoxed so all sweats (it's smelly and dirty) need to be washed away before into water. It's common sense!
(2) Why do people still wear dirty outside shoes to step into a pool facility to use a sauna, hot tub or pool? No wonder, I see so many sands and dirt inside the pool and hot tub.
(3) Filthy locker room, always. I saw artificial extension on the shower door. Pool and hot tub waters are so dirty and cloudy..
Remember, your facility was way better before. But sorry not anymore.
I have another membership with LA Fitness, and of course, comparing about cleanliness between two facility.

The gym machines are never cleaned! It’s not the members job to do their job of cleaning! The staff is constantly standing outside not even paying attention! It is a good gym, but two major issues, after 9:00 pm as I only can observe.
1) The level of dirt in this location is outrageous.
2) Some members have no considerations for others. The floor in the locker rooms is always wet and is slippery because people do not dry after leaving showers. Other members literally shout and sing so loud as they own the gym, always groups of 4-6 occupying one machine for long time. The issue is that the front desk does not care at all, despite being friendly. They just sit and welcome people, but very hesitant to do any action. No monitoring or enforcement of any rules or courtesy.
Some members need to be educated and be aware that their behavior is disruptive and distracting, simply they do not own the gym. It seems most like attention seekers from few bulk members. Lastly, the manager does nothing. I do not need the copy and paste response here, just address these issues.

Rather disappointed within my first thirty mins being here. At my last gym even if the front desk was talking with each other they would say goodbye every time I left the gym. Your employees just kept talking both when I left and came back l. The gym is filthy and there is dirt all over the floors. You need a professional cleaner to come through. There was a guy literally throwing 60 pound bars on the ground in front of the sign that says do not drop the weights. If you can't even make your clients practice safe behavior, why would I think anything in your gym is safe? My friend and I came to try the gym out because it's a great location and close to where we live. But I would rather drive to Puyallup and go to Northwest Pacific fitness company where they respect ALL their clients, are friendly, and clean

Appreciate the 24 hour operation hours and I'm not going to complain about location because I knew that before I decided to give this place a try.
What I am disappointed in is the fact that the hottub was closed and so was the steam room. The pool area looked unsanitary and unkempt. The pool was also ice cold, like a polar dip. Not expecting a super warm pool but something to take the edge off would have been nice as I was told the pool temp was warm before heading over.
Definitely room for improvement but nothing that can't be fixed with some adjustments. Thank you for coming to my TED TALK!

I lost my Driver's license today at the gym and only realized it almost an hour later at home. I called the desk and the lady on the phone was so helpful that she promised to go and search for it. Yes she did call me back in about 15mins and they found my driver's license. Thank you so much and keep up the smiles and greetings at the front desk. I love working out here and the discipline that is always maintained by both customers and staff. Thank you.

Good range of equipment, but the cleanliness is a major issue. It is so dirty. Management doesn’t care at all about what happens in locker rooms, wet floors, no hot water, very dirty, and even people practicing kickboxing and loud, zero consideration for others, nice staff, but they only sit to check-in. The management is really absent. No rules, members trash the location all the time. It would have great gym if they clean.

Used to like this gym, it has turned into a gross health hazard. Management is really letting it fall apart.

Anytime I try to give this gym a chance, It just doesn’t work. I absolutely do not like this gym! The parking lot in very high crime and sketchy, the customer service is horrible, by managers included. I canceled my membership today to 24 due to one of the workers getting at me like a bill collector in addition to rolling his eyes like a female. Not to mention I just didn’t like the feel of this gym and it screens covid 19 when I walk in .
I prefer the YMCA or Planet Fitness. I’m not a FAN of 24 Fitness at all !

My GF and I just moved to Tacoma, and signed up for a 3 day pass to see what the gym is like. We showed up and the man working the register barely looked up at my girlfriend and I to ask what we needed, and before I could get "we have three day p-" out he replied, rather shortly and sharply, that he wouldn't honor those because they have a sale going on for membership.
Perhaps he should speak with corporate instead of wasting our time - how were we supposed to know the passes were no good, we got them from the official 24 hour fitness website?
This man was haughty and rude, and I wonder if getting to act like he was important and didn't need us was worth sacrificing the $90/mo we would have paid in memberships dues, and addition to the startup fees, and annual fees, etc.
In any case, we signed up at LA fitness today. Love it.

Recently rejoined. Women's locker room had chunks of hair all over in the shower area. Steam room floor was filthy as was the rest of the gym. Sanitizing spray bottles were mostly empty. This gym would be great if kept up better. Disappointed

This club doesn't care if things don't work and are in no hurry to repair or replace them. The hot tub was down about 40% of the time this year, The steam sauna was down about 20% this year, the swimsuit dryer in the men's room has been down for the last 6 months. Don't waste your time joining this club because they don't care about their members.

Right down the middle 2.78~3.41ish ... Tryna not be too biased or bougie... Some BayArea/ PortlandMetro ones are very nice, while others have just steadily withered away, ever since members (of the board & of thee club itself) caused the disbandment of towel service few years back yonder ...
Anywho, too much Englasè hurts me head [mind] & soul {don't have one} so in closing :
Natapos na ang lahat galbangi so vous plait nandito pa rin ako Langston langit Brahadi Sajjadi Jemison Jonze arrogato mahalo n all dat rice crispies jazzamattazz si ummah *ahem*
This place is kinda spooky, yet cozy at the same time ...
It'd be nice if the h2o dispensaries informed regardment unfunctions, but I digress - quite obvs upon sawn discoloration n cloudiness [similar to how the spa•pool area do it to it]
Some showers don't work, and the trunk swim went spinner (though heard at 0937, may needs to try again - perchance Female spin functions... Strange, in dat goodgood wey Allie MacBill style since we sometimes accidentally stumble into ether locker rooms) so in hindsight, be careful, friendships! Stay alert, and sorry Mz Claxton, are those indeed real? Enjoy and make lifelongs friends to and fro area region no longer Lakewood, but perhaps Issaquiah, Kent, Bolter, Renton there's a few left , maybe half a dozen or so, hopefully some quality gems in da mix

Nice gym but if you want to actually lift during weekday evenings FORGET IT. The racks will be full of 20 year olds filming themselves taking a week between sets and you can't work in because there's bagels on the bar. During the day is good or late at night but peak hours are for filming your butt. Go with 24 if you need the off hours but Gold's is waaaay better during after work hours.

They Do No maintain their equipment. Am only posting this because there is no method for feedback on their website or through their app. Have reported broken equipment numerous times to staff. Other members have said that the equipment has been broken for months. Will continue to leave bad reviews in hopes that equipment will be fixed or replaced.

Gym is great clean enough except the bathroom specially late at night staff is always awesome my only problem n main reason for giving it to stars is that the sign on the sauna and steam room says it closes at 1 am but yet it’s always closed by eleven ish pm I’ve asked they think it’s open but it never is my request is either have it open please or at least change the sign

I’ve been coming here for five years and have had great experiences up until this year. Beware of the extremely rude fitness manager KEN. I don’t know how they have this man call himself a manager when he doesn’t even know how to approach members respectfully. He was rude and very confrontational.
