I loveee the concept - I recently did a trial session and would join this gym in a heartbeat if I had it in my budget. The one bit of constructive feedback I want to give: I specifically came to this gym because it’s a women’s only gym and I’m uncomfortable around men. I would have appreciated a heads up or being asked if I was ok with the trainer on my trial day being a man. If I’m not mistaken, he’s only allowed to even be in the gym because he’s a partial owner. I think this was a bit of a critical oversight for the concept of the gym

As a member of 30 Minute Hit since 2018, it would be impossible for me to overstate how much I love this gym! I am so grateful for the supportive environment, lovely and helpful trainers, and empowering, butt-kicking, badass-ifying workout. This place is amazing and I can't recommend it enough! 🩵🩵

Best workout option I’ve ever tried! The trainers are so friendly and supportive - as are the other members. Great place for a quick workout that you can make as challenging as you want. You will for sure gain strength and confidence - and always have a good time!

I can't recommend Seattle Ballard HIT enough. I've never been able to stick with a gym long-term, but HIT has helped me find a rhythm that really works—and I actually look forward to going! The owners DeWayne & Veronica, trainers, and fellow members are all incredibly supportive, welcoming, and motivating. I also really appreciate that it’s a women’s-only gym and that each station can be customized to your level. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love working out at 30 minute hit and would recommend it to anyone woman I meet. The trainers are supportive, encouraging, and push you just enough every time you go so that you grow. I also love that there’s no judgement and furthermore you’re always facing away from the others so no one is watching the other work out. My endurance, strength, muscle mass and tone have increased and I have truthfully have 30 minute hit to thank for that. The best thing is that it’s only 30 minutes out of your day, and you know what you’re doing so you’re never just sitting around wondering what to do if you’re not used to the gym. I love this place and it’s the best way to start my day! Highly recommend, give it a shot, you won’t regret it!

I love and would absolutely recommend 30 Minute Hit! I’ve never been great about exercise routines or making it to classes and that only got harder after having a baby.
It’s so helpful to know I can drop in during any of their hours and start a workout in two minutes. I love that these workouts leave me out of breath and in a full sweat, but also feel easy to learn.
The space is inclusive and the trainers are all so kind and really help me learn what I’m doing to maximize my time there. If you’re on the fence, definitely give it a try!

Although it's advertised as a women's only gym, there are male instructors. So if you're like me and feel uncomfortable working out around men, this isn't the place for you. They're also super shady with their business practices. After my initial free trial, I was hit with the high pressure sales tactics. I was told that if I signed up then but changed my mind later I could cancel at anytime. Nope, I can't. Apparently I'm locked into a contact, paying for a place I don't feel comfortable using. 10/10, do not recommend.

I highly recommend Ballard 30 Minute Hit!
Essentially, it is a 30 minute kickboxing circuit, guided by a skilled trainer. You show up and start when you’re ready - no worrying about being late or having to attend a specific class time.
The environment is welcoming and upbeat. The trainers are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. And it’s always super clean, which is a nice bonus.
You get a fantastic workout. And you can absolutely go at your own pace. It’s completely scalable.
And, it is definitely suitable for beginners or people with injuries. I have chronic back and ankle issues. The trainers listen to your situation and offer alternate exercises / techniques while you heal.
Special shout out to DeWayne, one of the owners, who is a fantastic trainer. I have learned a ton and been able to push myself farther than I thought.
They offer a free class to try it out, so why not? It’s only 30 minutes!

30 Minute Hit has been a life changer for me. The killer workouts are exactly that, killers! I’m exhausted after every session and they’re only 30 minutes long! You get what you put in and if you come with intention of maximizing your workout then you’ll feel the results every single time.
I gotta give props to the trainers who are all amazing, supportive and knowledgeable. I attribute most of my progress to DeWayne who has been the main trainer I’ve worked with since starting. He focuses on my form and technique which has helped me improve by leaps and bounds. I average about 3 times per week and have lost over 20 pounds in 4 months!
This is one of those workouts that’s becoming apart of who I am and I’m so grateful <3

I've been going to this gym since November 2021 and have loved it ever since. As a fat person, I've struggled with working out, going to gyms, etc. But when I found 30 Minute Hit, it was the first time in my life I actually enjoyed working out and exercising. That's because the incredible trainers are a perfect balance of tough love, encouragement, and compassion. They helped me realize what my body is capable of and just how strong (mentally and physically) I can be. Also, with this being a women only gym, I feel safe and supported. And because of that, it's more than a gym now to me but rather, a community. I love that 30 minute is a part of my life because it changed it for the better. It's not a place where you are expected to be perfect, but a place you can come as you are and do your best, no matter what that may look like for you.

This place is great! You’ll never have a bad workout here; I feel like you’re pretty much guaranteed to work super hard every time you step foot in here due to the trainers, guidance, and structure. It’s a cool circuit-style workout with no repeats so that people like me, who get bored easily when you’re doing like 3 sets of X Reps, don’t get bored. Honestly, the workout flies by, and it’s so much fun (and probably useful) to learn kickboxing techniques.
I like how there’s no set class times; circuits start on 2 min intervals so you can walk in anytime during their hours and work out. I feel like I’m already in better shape having gone only for 2ish months!

Great gym in Crown Hill / Ballard! I love that you can show up whenever you want and be in and out in just 30min. Women only is a huge plus, and very unique to the area. I’d love to see more gyms like this around the city!

Best gym ever!! I hate working out but I found my place!! Ally is truly amazing and so motivating! Love her! Meg is an awesome trainer as well - incredibly helpful! Awesome and fun women-only kickboxing gym. I've been coming for 3 months and love it!! The coaches and trainers are super helpful and supportive. It's so convenient that I can come when it's open and not have to follow a fixed class schedule. The workouts have been a game-changer for my mental and physical health. Everyone is friendly and welcoming.

I love this gym so much! The coaches and owners are so motivating and energetic. The schedule is perfect for my life as a new mom. And the workout is SO amazing - who knew hitting things would be so much fun!? I highly recommend joining 30MH!

I came in for an induction session and the trainer was super friendly and provided a good level of encouragement. However if you're neurodivergent I really wouldn't recommend even a trial as this place has bright lights, loud music, and alarm bells every 30s. I just wish I had known what I was in for beforehand (hence the review).
But if that's not something you're sensitive to, then I'm sure the gym seems like a lot of fun. Offering scheduled accessible/quiet hours I think could help said issues.

Fun, affordable and informative! Been going for over year, I love the convenience of not having to stick to class schedules (you can come in at any time, sets start every 2 minutes!). Trainers are friendly and make an effort to engage you in the workout, without being forceful if you don’t like that sort of thing. I’ve learned so much to improve my technique and love having a fun option to get fit!

This is the best gym I’ve ever been a part of. From the first moment I walked in, I’ve felt so welcomed and accepted. This is a body-positive environment, and the trainers are nothing but encouraging and supportive. I’ve built good habits, learned new skills, and gotten stronger in my year here! This place is amazing! I’m so sad that I’m moving back home to Canada and will have to say goodbye soon . I went from July 2021- present and loved how I felt after every single workout . It helped me so much with my over all mood, energy level , and made me feel so proud and confident, like I could do anything!
The trainers have all been super sweet, encouraging and kind. I highly recommend this gym, it’s a very intense workout but very rewarding. And I love how it’s just a quick 30mins and you’re done!

I really liked it there, the trainers and owner were SO kind, encouraging, and friendly! It's also a great workout 😅 Plus it's so fun and empowering! It also feels like a safe space.
One thing is- if you want to cancel/hold your membership, do it before the 15th of the month, or else you will still pay for the next month. So put it on your calendar!
The gym is near perfect as far as I'm concerned 👏✨💪

30 Minute HITis great for me! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the trainers are knowledgeable, helpful, encouraging and fun! I am 70 and in ok shape. The 30 minute circuit is challenging and I feel very sweaty and satisfied at the end… a great start to my day. So happy I found 30 Minute HIT!

I went here for the first time today and felt instantly welcomed. Everyone there is so sweet while also giving you the push you need. I don’t work out often and was nervous that I may feel out of place, but the trainers/owner encouraged me while suggesting breaks when needed. I didn’t feel threatened to go at my own pace either. Definitely worth giving it a try.

I started going to this gym in January and instantly found this place to be warm and welcoming! Even when the stay at home orders began in March, Rachel (the AMAZING owner) made such an effort to keep our community connected through social media. There is even on online platform with trainer led workouts to continue HITing from home! The workouts are TOUGH, and designed for each individual to progress in their abilities at their own pace. I love that only 30 minutes can be so effective and fit into a busy schedule. If you haven't yet tried it out-you're missing out! I can't wait to get back into the gym when it is safe to do so.

After consistently coming to the gym for a couple of months I'm still as impressed with the workout as I was the day of the free trial. I'm seeing some considerable improvements with my endurance and I have felt muscles I did not know I had during this intense 30 minute circuit. Rachel (the owner) is the most positive, kind, and passionate gym owner you will ever meet. She works super hard to make this an incredible experience for us all. All the trainers are fantastic, you really get to know them and appreciate their words of encouragement throughout the workout. If you are looking for a seriously good all body workout, amazing trainers, flexible schedule, and a supportive environment look no further.

This gym is hands down the best women's gym around! In 30 minutes, you get a complete cardio and core workout, in an empowering, non-aggressive, supportive atmosphere. I always feel so much better after hitting and kicking things, and I've definitely become leaner in the short time I've been a member. The membership fee is very reasonable, and you never have to worry about making a class time, just show up during business hours at a time that works for you!

The BEST workout in all of Seattle! I have tried all the workouts, from running to barre to spin, and nothing has come close to the sweat I get from a 30 Minute Hit session! In JUST 30 minutes you work your entire body and burn calories with intense cardio, and never slow down thanks to the encouragement of the amazing trainers!
PLUS the gym is all ladies, and together you are part of a positive community that supports and pushes one another to succeed. Not to mention, you feel like a total bad a** when you throw hooks! ;)
