It was a very nice gym, but unfortunately it's closed down. It has been for some time. The owners opened the gym just in time for Covid 19 & Washington State governor Jay Inslee's multiple mandatory gym closures.

I'm including a photo taken the other night. The gym is dark inside & there's a sign for a real estate company in the window, apparently offering the place for sale or lease.

I can find no information that the gym is reopening either.

I’ll get to the point. Sabrina and John are the best owners of a Fitness Center one could ask for. John is a fantastic motivator and Sabrina is a phenomenal Trainer. She helped me achieve things I didn’t think I could do. Highly recommend!!

Joined today met with owners John and Sabrina D'Angelo to sign up for a new membership at their valley location. Friendly and professional they were very welcoming. No pressure sales tactics at all which is refreshing. The facility was clean all equipment stored and packed together neatly unlike other establishments in town that keep the weight equipment area in disarray. I choose this location for its proximity to my office and the 24hr security access. I would definitely recommend this location as your gym of choice.

Editing Review 1/3/22. Now that I have visited another AF location I realize just how nice this gym is. The things I took for granted --- personal, friendly greetings, the new equipment, the cleanliness, the lockers, the reusable cleaning cloths AND the safety I feel because everyone wears their mask --- were not offered at the other location. Thank you John and Sabrina for providing Spokane Valley with a stellar gym experience. Joining was one of the best decisions my husband and I have made. The equipment available is incredibly comprehensive, especially in the functional training area. John and Sabrina are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Sabrina is a fantastic personal trainer. The 360 body scan is a great tool to measure progress. The gym attracts people of all sizes and fitness condition who simply want to improve their health. All are welcomed!

The owners are more concerned that you follow global mask cult than anything else. They IMMEDIATELY check to see if you're wearing your mask upon entering their building. Don't worry though. It's ok to remove your mask while exercising, because they'd go out of business otherwise, and apparently Covid doesn't spread when you're in the magic workout area. I terminated my Anytime Fitness membership specifically because of this NONSENSE. I'm heading across the street to Planet Fitness, where they don't concern themselves with enforcing unconstitutional mask rituals.

I have been steadily exercising for over 40 years as well as been a member of various health clubs in several states throughout the US. Through my insurance plan I have the option to exercise at nearly every gym in the area and bar none, the Anytime Fitness in Spokane Valley, WA is the facility I've chosen. This facility is at the top of its class. The owners, (John and Sabrina) are incredible. Their professionalism and friendliness set the gold standard when it comes to Health Club fitness. They always welcome everyone with a warm greeting, smile and are readily available to help if needed. I can’t say enough about the condition of the facility. It is amazing clean! The equipment is in pristine condition and facility is immaculate. If there is any doubt about joining a health club, I strongly recommend visiting the Anytime Fitness in Spokane Valley, WA. Meet with John and Sabrina and be encouraged; they are the best cheerleaders one can ask for concerning your personal physical fitness.

I couldn’t be happier joining the Anytime Fitness | Spokane Valley community. I only wish I had made the switch sooner! The owners, Sabrina & John D’Angelo make a concerted effort to cultivate a phenomenal fitness environment that is quite noticeably several steps above the competition in the surrounding areas. As a previous customer of Planet Fitness right next door, and as someone who did a trial week at MÜV Fitness down the road, I can tell you that neither establishment comes close to what you’ll find at Anytime Fitness | Spokane Valley.

With my schedule, I’ve worked out at the gym at all different times of the day and the gym is always exceptionally clean. Sabrina and John are often in the facility working hard to keeping everything sanitized top-to-bottom. Everything from the fixtures, the equipment, the walls, floors, restroom facility, etc are immaculately kept and maintained. The exercise equipment is state-of-the-art, with the cardio equipment allowing for Bluetooth connectivity and video-streaming platform accessibility. There are even monitors on the gym floor that can connect to myZONE heart rate monitors.

Although the physical footprint of Anytime Fitness | Spokane Valley is smaller than Planet Fitness, Anytime Fitness | Spokane Valley actually provides more options in terms of equipment as you’ve got access to a free weight bar and rack as well as a Smith Machine, where as Planet Fitness will limit you to only a Smith Machine. This is just one of many examples, I could go on…

Most impressively, Sabrina and John take the time throughout their day to check in with their customers. I see them greeting gym goers and taking a moment to visit with them to invest in everyone’s journey. They truly are cultivating a community at this facility which is truly remarkable.

Let me start by stating I am a gym rat! With my job I have been to several anytime fitness' and other commercial and private gyms all over the state. NEVER have I been so disappointed at a facility. Upon entering the doors the manager berated me to wear a mask through the doors... meanwhile she is NOT wearing a mask! (Ummm.... Mam?) She was incredibly unprofessional and it truly shocked me. If her boss witnessed the interaction she would of been terminated on the spot. She me made me feel extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable. But stay positive thought it might of been a bad day... went again the next day and same experience! There was only one other person in the entire gym and I was over ten feet away from him the entire time. Yet I got a nasty voicemail left for me the next day. What the heck people??? HOW ARE YOU STILL OPEN??!! Thankfully I am an avid "gym goer", if I was new to the gym I would probably never go again! Besides the staff, the floors had dust bunnies everywhere and it was musty. This location had very limited and dated equipment. If you are new to the gym or looking for a new one... I'll help you right now! Go to the other location on TRENT or a DIFFERENT GYM.

The gym itself is fine good equipment and layout. The problem is I already pay a good amount every month to be going to that gym much less every year I have to pay extra for gym modification. In my opinion it’s outrageous I have to pay a membership fee and more. Ridiculous.

Started going to this location shorty after they opened. I love how clean this place is! It feels like every time I am here I see Sabrina either wiping down machines or washing the used towels. Both John and Sabrina are very personable and will help you with whatever you need. Having brand new equipment makes me feel like I’m getting to work out I want. Next time you want to join a gym, give this place a visit!

The gym is clean—I actually saw Sabrina get on all 4s one time, to clean the treadmill. Always neat and tidy, and most members do a great job at cleaning up after themselves, and repacking their weights! The facilities are top of the line.

Oh, how I WANTED to like this place. The gym itself is nice. And one of the owners, Sabrina, must have been watching to door logs, because she came to find me by name and introduce herself. I liked that.

But the showers were closed. Turned off, in fact. This wasn't clear. When I got there this morning, I checked the showers first thing. (This was the second AF I tried to use this morning.) I didn't see a sign, or tape, or any other indication. (Afterward, I checked the OTHER shower and saw a sign INSIDE the stall. But nothing in the middle room that I checked closely.) If showers are closed, this needs to be displayed CLEARLY at the front door. Big, exciting, aggressive letters! I would never have come in if that were the case. I certainly would not have put forth such effort & done Good Work with the iron. But no, it was not clear, I went about getting beat and dirty, and then had no recourse. I will not be able to meet various commitments today because I cannot make it without basic hygiene. And I don't have the time to make other arrangements.

I wanted to spend a few days using this otherwise great gym, but no showers is unfortunately a deal-breaker. A gym needs to have these basic facilities. I'll be going back into Spokane proper because they have showers. Not quite so nice a space, but they are capable of meeting this requirement.

BEAUTIFUL gym!! The layout is incredible. I love all the functional equipment they have especially the assault bike and rower and whole rack set it. Not only does it look super pretty but you also get that “spa” type feeling. They provide towels for your shower, a hair dryer, soap and shampoo and conditioner and even free coffee. Sabrina the owner is very kind and you can tell she passionate about what she does. She goes above and beyond to show you around and feel comfortable and oriented. Highly recommend for a beginner or a long time workout enthusiast.

I was previously going to the Liberty Lake AF. Wanted to try this new gym out since it’s closer to home. The gym itself is amazing. Plenty of equipment. Brand new and very clean. I was in love with the layout.

My boyfriend came to meet up with me and his key wouldn’t work. I let him in and just figured they’d charge me a $5 charge to my account for having a “buddy pass” if you will, even though he is a member.

Sabrina called me asking who he was that I let in and threatened to charge me $250 fine if I let it happen again. We weren’t aware that it took 30 days to go to another gym that wasn’t our “home gym”. Thought she could’ve handled it better. I even offered to show her his key pass. I figured she would want more people coming to her gym. Instead I felt like we weren’t invited.

I actually live in WI but always workout in town when I'm visiting my family. This is the nicest Anytime fitness I've ever been to. Plenty of equipment, tons of space, and lots of amenities you don't find in most Anytime's. There is tea or coffee, small towels to use on your sweat, or to wipe off equipment (thank you for offering people and option that doesn't run through disposable products!). And towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash for the showers. Hairdryers, scales as well. It's clean, bright and a pleasure to work out in.
