I was looking for a challenge to improve my fitness level, discipline, and confidence while going way out of my comfort zone.
Late October of 2024, I first stepped into the Arcaro Boxing gym around noon on a Saturday. Pricing is cheaper than the other gyms in the area with reasonable options from drop in, punch cards, to monthly memberships. I bought gloves and hand wraps which they provided. Nerves began to dissipate thanks to the friendly and welcoming demeanor of Coach Cassidy. Coach Tricia introduced herself, and it's evident that she and the gym attracts other coaches and people that exudes a vibe centered strongly around supporting an inclusive community.
With no experience, they start you off with core fundamentals in foot work, stance, and basic punches. The next class you start doing drills in pairs taking turns using gloves or mitts. Cardio exercises are mixed in with various gym equipment.
The core tensions class helped me understand how my body moves at a deeper level. The 1 on 1 functional pattern sessions helps evaluate your current overall body condition and as you progress doing various movement exercises helps many aspects in boxing and general movement. I'm surprised how it has helped my overall posture and the hip pain I've been getting. They recently started offering Muay Thai classes taught by Coach Kim, I tried it for the first time recently and it was a great change of pace and a lot of fun.
Progress has been very evident thanks to Coach Tricia, Cassidy, Cisco, and everyone. The staff is great, and I love that they all bring a unique personality and style to how they teach.
Big Thank you to all, with a special thanks to Coach Cass. From day one of helping me figure out how to wrap my hands, to getting better at sparring, and achieving growth in overall physique/mentality. I'm getting what I was looking for and more. To the reader, I hope to see you in the gym sometime!

I’ve been going to Arcaro Boxing for 3 weeks now, and I just want to say—this place is amazing. I came in with zero boxing experience and was honestly really intimidated on my first day. But the moment I walked in, everyone was so kind and welcoming. Big shoutout to Coach Tricia, Coach Kim, Coach Cass, and Coach Cisco—they’ve all been super supportive and patient as I learned the basics.
I’ve taken the boxing fundamentals class, core tension class, and done some one-on-one sessions. Three weeks in, I already feel improvement—in my strength, confidence, and overall energy. And that feeling motivates me to keep coming back.
What surprised me most is how fun it’s been—this has become something I actually look forward to, not something I have to drag myself to do.
If you’re thinking about trying boxing but feel nervous or unsure—just go. You’ll be in good hands here.

Disappointing experience, the owner Tricia was very rude and this place had some major clique energy. Went here a while ago and sat on this review but feel the need to say something still as I’m not sure how it has such high ratings. I wouldn’t recommend this overpriced gym when there are better options. Save your money.

I've been going to Arcaro boxing for a little over a year and it is populated with an extremely welcoming and helpful community. Everybody is extremely kind coaches and boxers. I am continuously pushed hard every single time I visit to improve on my skills and be the best I can be. I've never once failed to be greeted everytime I arrive. For me that's something that's always been rare in sports.

I've been training with Tricia Arcaro Turton and her team at Arcaro Boxing for over 5 years, and I can genuinely say they are the best in the world! After struggling for over 15 years with chronic pain and dysfunction, I had tried countless health "experts" without real relief. Tricia and her team address the root causes, helping me make profound progress that I never thought was possible. I am mentally, emotionally and physically stronger than I've ever been.
The gym is incredibly inclusive and feels like one of the safest, most welcoming spaces I’ve ever trained in. You will see all ages, shapes, background and genders training here.
Tricia, along with Cisco, Cassidy, and the entire team, approach training holistically, working with me to resolve pain and improve mobility rather than just pushing a workout. I’m so proud to train with them and recommend Arcaro Boxing to anyone who wants to get stronger while addressing pain and mobility issues. This place is a true gem!

This gym is life changing! When I came here for Functional Patterns training 4 years ago, I was in a back brace and unable to walk, sit, or even lay down without debilitating pain. Now, because of Tricia and FP, I have my life back! I train virtually now since I moved out of state, but I visit Arcaro boxing every chance I get because it’s one of my happy places :) All of the coaches here are incredibly knowledgeable and encouraging, and the atmosphere in the group classes is friendly and supportive. If you come here you’ll work hard, but you’ll also get amazing results and have a really good time!

I’ve been going to Arcaro for a little over a year now, and it has been one of the most rewarding journeys for me. This is the only gym I’ve ever been consistent with, particularly because every class I’m learning and building on techniques and pushing myself to new thresholds with the support of each of the coaches that mentor here. They focus on developing fundamental movements and how the body connects to itself, and I feel like my body just works better since coming here. The people that attend are also super supportive of each other as boxers and as people. I’m so grateful for the care and attention this gym puts into each person that comes in for a class. I can’t recommend this place enough! I bring all my friends that come visit me, and you should too!

Exceptional Boxing Gym with Top-Notch Coaching
I've been training at this boxing gym for a few months now, and it has exceeded all my expectations. The gym is a fantastic place to learn the fundamentals of boxing, with a strong emphasis on body ergonomics and movement. The coaches here are truly solid professionals who excel at teaching proper boxing techniques and explaining the cause and effect of every movement.
One standout coach is Coach Tricia. She is absolutely phenomenal and has a true gift for teaching the art of boxing. Her detailed instruction and passion for the sport make every session both challenging and rewarding. Coach Tricia’s ability to break down complex techniques into understandable steps is remarkable, making it easier for beginners to grasp and for more advanced students to refine their skills.
I also had the privilege to watch Cassidy Gannon & Cisco Rodriguez coach, both coaches possess a profound understanding of boxing and have an unparalleled ability to break down complex boxing fundamentals into easily digestible lessons. Together, Cassidy and Cisco create a well-rounded training experience. Their combined expertise ensures that you receive comprehensive instruction, from mastering basic techniques to developing advanced strategies. They are committed to helping you achieve your goals, whether you are a beginner or an experienced boxer looking to refine your skills.
Overall, this gym is the perfect environment for anyone looking to learn boxing, improve their fitness, or even just to get a great workout. The supportive and knowledgeable coaching staff, coupled with the focus on proper technique and movement, makes this gym a top choice for boxing enthusiasts of all levels. Highly recommend!

Arcaro Boxing has completely changed my perspective on fitness! As someone who finds traditional gyms uninspiring, I was thrilled to discover the excitement and energy of boxing. The coaches are incredibly passionate and dedicated, ensuring each class is engaging. Their attention to detail is remarkable, and the positive atmosphere is contagious.
Within just a month of attending group classes, I've experienced significant improvements in my energy levels, mental clarity, and overall strength. I can't recommend Arcaro Boxing enough, I can't wait to get back from my travels and jump right back into training

Where to start...I have been part of this community since 2015 and could not speak more highly of Tricia Arcaro as well as her talented coaches. Most importantly, working with Tricia through her executive private coaching for the last 8 years has provided me with not just boxing experience, but an incredible set of tools personally and professionally. Tricia and her team have peeled back layers of mental and emotionion hurdles and have helped me level up as a leader in the real estate industry. I attribute a huge amount of my professional growth to the coaching, tools, and accountability provided by Tricia throughout the years. Bring Tricia Arcaro into your life as soon as possible if you want to become a better leader, professional, and human being.

At Arcaro I was able to grow my self-esteem and confidence through my body with the use of functional patterns. As a longtime competitive boxer, the wear and tear from the sport was taking a toll on my body and I had extreme back pain to the point where I felt as though I had no other option but to quit competing. Coach Tricia and Coach Cassidy both helped me get rid of that pain entirely. You can really tell how passionate these coaches are through how much they care for their clients. With their help I was able to strengthen my boxing capabilities and reach new heights in my boxing career; functional patterns is life changing! I don’t know any place else where you can find such amazing coaches with the advanced knowledge of such movement. If you want to heal your body, learn boxing, improve your boxing, or simply move your body and surround yourself with a great community I definitely recommend you check out Arcaro :)

Just finished first 1-on-1 there with Cassidy. Great learning, great workout, and cool vibes from everyone there. I'm rehabbing some nerve damage in my feet and achilles (just recently started walking again), so I really appreciate the accommodation and understanding of my current physical limitations.

I do not think I can put into words HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I currently only come here once a week but I always look forward to it! It is such a welcoming environment with ZERO judgement and the coaches are unbelievably amazing. I feel like I could talk to anyone in the gym about absolutely anything. They also almost always have dogs in the gym (pictured here is Frida and Moose) and it is so much fun to say hi and pet them every time I come in. I have nothing bad to say about this place and highly recommend this gym for everything from sparring to light physical therapy. They have taught me so much about myself both physically and mentally. I truly love this gym. A bonus is that it is run by a woman! She is truly amazing.

A well-equipped boxing gym with basic services available at a very reasonable price, and additional options to meet the needs of just about anyone. Tricia deeply cares about the community and i've seen her go out of her way multiple times for people in need.

My experience with Acaro boxing has been great so far! The instructors are very friendly, and even in the group classes take the time to give pointers and correct my form! Ive been going about 2 months about 3-5 times a week (sometimes less :S), and started out very out of shape! I wouldnt call myself in shape now, but my SO and I have definitely noticed a difference, and its thanks to the amazing team at Acaro :)

First, I'm not a boxer, a fitness person or any of that. I'm an ER nurse which keeps me active, and away from work I tend to slug at home. A year plus of staying locked away due to covid hasn't helped that. I also have always had a hard time being independently motivated to work out. Open gym time does nothing for me. I realized I'm in my 40s though, and have realized I need to work on cardio. Hence boxing.
Before I decided I stuck my head in for a few minutes on a few classes and watched how the instructors worked with a wide range of ages, fitness levels and skill levels. The deciding factor was watching Matt teach a group of youths. Lots of patience, willing to go where they were. He seemed to be enjoying what he was teaching.
So far I've worked a few classes with him, as well as Cassidy and Cisco. Each of them and the other trainers are active or former in ring fighters. I've been happily worn out, and all of them have taken time to guide me as a complete novice to fitness and boxing, even as the old man in the room.
The price is good, the group classes membership level allows you to go to as many group classes as you like, you just have to sign up due to potential space restrictions. They also have other levels, which seems a reasonable price up if you want the open gym, sparring, one on one training and more.
Also, if you are interested in starting with them they do carry a local company's gloves and wraps that you can buy ($70, plus you help local businesses).

From the first moment you step into this gym, you know it's a special place. The walls are decked from floor to ceiling with bits of boxing history: copies of Ring Magazine signed by golden age greats, memorabilia from coach Tricia's own championships and fights against legends like Holly Holm, and the belts and trophies earned by her stable of dedicated young boxers.
It's much more than decor, though, the culture at Arcaro is different too. At my kickboxing gym, I was used to "hard work" meaning maximum reps, power, and speed, maximum calories expended. In boxing classes at Arcaro, there is just as much sweat and hard work, but the coaches help you direct that focus and intensity inward: using feedback from the mirror, the bag, and inner body intelligence to make adjustments and correct dysfunction. The emphasis on balance, structure, tension, self-awareness, and integrity makes each class a unique opportunity to learn and grow. The atmosphere reflects this: egos are left at the door, coaches project clearly without yelling, and everyone's progress is valued and celebrated. The music is good too, no aggressive EDM like so many gyms.
Each class brings a mixture of jump rope, bag work, shadowboxing, footwork drills, and functional movement exercises, broken into 3 minute rounds with short breaks. After four months of near-daily training, every class is still a new experience, with fresh drills to try and more feedback to work on. This freshness really gives meaning to coach Tricia's concept of training intentionally, not habitually. It keeps you guessing as to what's coming next, pushing you to absorb new information while remaining locked into the moment. Once training becomes routinized, the mind starts to wander, but there's rarely a chance for that here. After a few classes, you'll quickly understand why people of all ages, body types, and athletic backgrounds keep coming back to this place. The quality of instruction is not just excellent, but clinical: medicine for the whole body, rooted in knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics, correcting chronic, accumulated dysfunction.
Tricia is deeply connected to her neighborhood and community, and is doing everything she can to support us and offer her services during this pandemic. In addition to complying fully with the governor's orders, she has also gone above and beyond to provide virtual lessons, private training, open gym rentals, and limited-capacity socially-distanced group classes, according to the guidance from the state. She has outfitted the gym with extra ventilation, mandatory hand sanitizer at the entrance, mask protocols, and extensive cleaning/sanitization of the gym/equipment. Everyone respects the COVID policies, and I always felt safe while training.
Unfortunately gyms are shutting down totally once again, but I pray things will get better soon. I sincerely hope that everyone gets a chance to come train with Tricia, Ondrea, Matt, Cass, and the rest of the team. You will not regret a minute of it!

I've know the owner of Arcaro Boxing for many years and she and her staff are incredibly well schooled in both the art and science of boxing. This gym has a wonderful, safe, inclusive community and is welcoming to all types of people. They work with all levels, from beginners to professionals, and have the experience and understanding of the sport to make learning fun, challenging and rewarding. I highly recommend Tricia and her staff if you have always wanted to learn the sweet science, or if you wish to sharpen up your existing skill set!
