The gym hosted a Hyrox sim and the gym was quite spectacular. Beautiful entry way and felt very boutique like. Loved the seating and noticed there was also a sauna.
The floor itself was extremely spacious with all the equipment one can ask for.
The locker rooms were beautifully designed with showers, amenities and very clean. Highly recommend checking them out.

Training with Robel Woldu, the owner of Athletic Form, has completely transformed how I move and feel in my body. I initially came in looking for help managing my scoliosis, and what I found was a personalized, thoughtful approach to fitness that truly meets me where I’m at.
Robel brings deep knowledge and a passion for helping people move better. Every session incorporates dynamic, functional movements that not only build strength and mobility, but also support proper alignment and posture—something that’s been crucial for managing my scoliosis. Training with Amber has been a game-changer for my strength, stability, and confidence.
I initially started working with her to build bilateral strength and strengthen my core to help manage pain from scoliosis. From day one, Amber was intentional about creating a program that prioritized the integrity of movement over just increasing weight—an approach that helped me develop greater balance, control, and overall body awareness.
Her expertise really shines in how she tailored each session to meet my body’s needs, especially with thoughtful adjustments based on my hormonal cycle and energy levels. I always felt seen, supported, and challenged in ways that felt sustainable and empowering.
In a space that can often feel male-dominated, Amber brings a refreshing and essential perspective to strength training—one that centers care, precision, and a deep understanding of the body. This gym has been perfect for getting me back into a consistent workout routine after having 2 kids and being the heaviest I’ve ever been. Ive taken the strength and tone and Get Fit Lab classes with the owner Robel; his classes are challenging in the best way—exactly what I need. The atmosphere is welcoming, and I never feel judged, even as a “beginner”. I always leave feeling great, and I've noticed I'm getting stronger and more toned. Highly recommended!

After going to AF for open gym myself, I picked Felicia to be my niece's trainer. Felicia is knowledgeable, fun, relatable, patient and most of all kind. Having a 14 year old think you can see drastic changes within 2 sessions needed someone to kindly guide her and help understand that it's a lifestyle.. as an extra bonus, she gave her at home workouts to do when she went back home. The thing that made my niece want to come back was Felicia would ask how she was doing when she didn't see her AND would get a wonderful warm welcome when she came back and gave my niece a sense of belonging to a gym where someone is excited for you to be there and meet your goals.

Best place in Seattle for personal training and group classes.
I’ve been doing personal training with Phil Berry, I came to him as I was preparing to run a half-marathon. He listened to my goals for performance, strength, & weight and asked about my history related to working out and injuries. Then he created a tailored program for me and we got to work! He adjusted my program based on my progress and when my race day arrived, I actually beat my goal AND it’s the strongest I’ve ever been.
Phil is a person who truly knows his craft. He’s an endless wealth of knowledge. I see him working with other clients as well, from high school and college athletes to pregnant women & brand new mothers – he has the education, credentials, & experience to create the right programs, informed with true fitness IQ to help his clients reach their goals, in the smartest way.
The group classes at Athletic Form are great too! Top-notch instructors. I’ve been to Orange Theory, Barry’s, etc. and the group fitness classes here are on a different level. The warmups and cooldowns are designed for each class to help avoid injury. Plus there’s a sauna. And lots of recovery gear that I've never seen at other gyms before.

I tried their 1 week $39 trial. It is a really nice facility but the class size was too big, with 3-4 people in one station. Because of that, you can't really take the time to push yourself in weights because 1) you are rotating with 2-3 other people and 2) they might be in a different weight class but it's too much work to adjust weights.
Also music is way too loud I couldn't hear the instructors most of the time.
I think this could be a good choice for people who just want to get a workout done, sweat, and also to meet people. But if you are a more advanced athlete or if you care about getting feedback from coaches, I don't think Athletic Form is a good place for that.

Nate is one of the greatest trainers I have worked with in 20 years. I went through 4 other trainers before I found Nate at Athletic Form. I was extremely nervous due an ACL surgery about a year prior and being focused on strength over cardio. I have been training with Nate for just over a year now and he has drastically increased my physical and mental strength beyond what I could have ever imagined. He knows your limits better than you do, and takes the time to know where you're at each session, without judgement, so he can tailor the session to you.
Besides just Nate, every single person is incredibly welcoming. From day 1, everyone at the front desk knew my name.

Facility, equipment, and environment is awesome. Have to mark my rating down for a couple of things: no parking and limited open gym capabilities after 5 pm. I pay for an open gym membership but classes precede open gym workouts so I can’t get anything done here from 6-7 pm when my schedule allows it. Don’t sign up if you’re wanting to do open gym during class times because in the hour they have class, they end up taking up the entire gym leaving you nowhere to workout.

Pre-COVID19 closure: there were a few big changes that happened for the Athletic Form facility (moving to a temp facility while new one was being designed/remodeled - can't wait for the new spot to open), but one thing that remained the same was the dedication the trainers had to delivering challenging workouts (for people at any level), encouragement, and providing realness that you wouldn't get at many other places.
During COVID19: AF trainers have been creating video content (full workouts and short examples of workout moves) along with providing written daily/weekly workout plans. Also, they've been renting out equipment for people who don't have access to them otherwise!
It might start off as a dreaded time (because working out, right?) but it always ends up being a good time (or as AF would say "always a good vibe"!!)
P.S. This isn't just a gym/training facility, it's also a tight community, join the fam!
P.S.S. You'll be encouraged to push yourself and sometimes this is done in the form of getting called out. It's not a bad thing, I swear (it's happened to me plenty of times haha), but its because they believe in you and what you're capable of.

There are so many wonderful things to say about Athletic Form. From the physical space, to the amazing trainers, to the community, to the people that come to workout, this place is truly more than just a gym. Robel and the team have created this beautiful space of strength, encouragement, inclusivity, diversity, culture, and community. I have gone to many different workout spaces in the Seattle area, but have never really experienced anything like Athletic Form. Everyday I look forward to working out here and attending one of their many classes. Whether it be Bootcamp, HIIT, GetFit Lab, strength and tone, student athlete sessions, or yoga there is something here for everyone. All of the trainers are very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do and it shows. I highly recommend anyone to come in and try out a class!

Started going to Athletic Form about a few weeks ago with a group of friends. I live a bit far from there but my experience has been so great so far. The atmosphere is very positive, friendly and motivating. The classes I've been to so far have been partner/group based so it really pushes you to work harder. Try a class sometime. You won't regret it!

Huge facility offering lots of great classes to match everyone's goals!
CLASSES: Great experiences at Bootcamp, HIIT, Get Fit Lab, and Strength & Tone. All classes make use of Athletic Form's ample space (think converted warehouse) and rely upon a wide variety of equipment. You'll make your way through TRX, sleds, ropes, dumbbells, barbells, and
kettlebells.
TRAINERS: Great! Good demos, variety, and coaching.
CROWD: Crowd tends to be 25 to 35-year olds and range from novice to experienced athletes. Workouts are great for anyone. No intimidation factor here.
EQUIPMENT: High variety and all well-maintained.
PARKING: A few spaces directly in front. Free gravel lot opposite. Paid lot next door. The first two can be at capacity during lunchtime, but there are normally spaces available in the AMs.

I just started regularly attending Bootcamp and GetFit Lab with an occasional Strength and Tone class during the week. The facility is top-notch and the trainers are, too (free lockers, showers, towels, etc.). Classes are fun, never the same, and for people at any stage on their fitness journey. High-energy, knowledgeable instructors dedicated to ensuring you're doing things correctly. Great community with great options for bettering your health - definitely worth your time and money

This gym is a community. It’s not a meat market or a place to show off. The gym is definitely the cleanest I’ve seen and the equipment is all functional. I definitely recommend this gym for anyone looking to get results and be a part of a community to keep you accountable.
