Our children took swim lessons July and August 2025. The instructors are awesome and great with the kids. Eric and Leo were the main instructors for the kiddos and I would highly recommend coming here for lessons. Great community feel, good vibes. More than 5 stars!

Best thing I ever did was enrolling in this club. Use the pool daily with an awesome reservation system, the sauna and jacuzzis are relaxing and quiet. Staff are awesome, and the members are polite and quiet. The fees are fair and the club is clean. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Had a tour with Kellie a while back and was unimpressed with her attitude. Really didn't seem to have much warmth towards kids or the "childcare" area. With hardly anything available, a rigged looking above ground seems residential hot tub, old worn out racquetball courts one of which is the daycare at the end of a dark hallway and they didn't attempt to make it look lile anything but a racquetball court. Was shocked leaving that they are advertising the place for kids birthday parties. Go somewhere that actually invests some of their revenue into their facilities and respects kids. Back of the sign see something about being the reason someone smiles today - well definitely didn't see or hear anything that left me smiling.

I enjoy the inclusive atmosphere and access. There is plenty of parking, great staff support, and plenty of options. I never have a wait on a machine, love that the swimming pool is lane reserved and no kids outside specified lifeguard times, and the are so many racquetball courts to choose from. I have tried most of the athletic clubs in town and the ease of location even on the bus, along with the parking access really elevates this experience. I'm very happy. I would make it a 5 star, except the lane reservation system is faulty as many don't show yet don't cancel, and it would be nice to badge in vs turn in my member card and remember to pick it up.

A diamond in the rocks. Hidden Gem. Just two ways I can say about this place. First time visiting and I was wowed to see how it was. The building can use an upkeep, but inside is filled with amazing employees and gym goers. Played basketball for the first time in many years and it felt great to have a place that isn't too crowded. If offers many great features with fair pricing.
I would 10/10 would recommend for those seeking a good comfortable gym.

Had this gym for a year and I liked it but ultimately had to switch gyms because my 8 year old son is pretty much not allowed in the building, he can not use the exercise equipment at any gym but during the summer break he will sit quietly on his phone. He cannot go to the kids club due to medical needs. He is a well behaved kid and has never tried to climb anything, always been polite and quiet. Summer break just started so when I went to work out the other day the women at the front desk came to loudly announce in front of the whole room that my son is in fact not allowed at that gym unless he goes to there kids club, which consists on a room with a bunch of baby and toddler toys and even if he wanted too he couldnβt because the staff isnβt willing to go through the medical training. It really embarrassed my kid and they wouldnβt even let me take my son to get my bag from the locker room. Iβve seen several other members take there children in the wieght rooms and one member lets her son younger than mine go unattended in the exercise rooms. They go in the locker room. Iβm disappointed I liked this gym but ultimately people here are snobby and the staff is rude.

I love the Parc! This is the best gym in town upon doing therapeutic activity and hygiene. After a good workout whether it be lifting weights doing any courts or pool activities I highly suggest utilizing the sauna steam room and hot tub finish with a cold beverage for the full effect of detoxification and hydration replenishment.

Great place for kidβs swimming lessons. Very affordable.
Unfortunately they donβt have a family changing room and from my sonβs description, the menβs locker room only had one stall bathroom, no separate showers or curtains which means no privacy. Every time we leave heβs soaking wet in the car. For a gym with a pool youβd think they would have appropriate accommodations.

Been a member for decades. Staff is friendly and experienced. Great place for swimming, has a Jacuzzi, racquetball, yoga room, and all of exercise equipment you could imagine. Did a free trial here and found it be an awful experience. Old gym, needs updating and I just felt "gross" here. I feel like for the price of membership and money upfront they wanted they could afford to make the place more lively. Layout is also all over the place with much of it feeling like an "after thought."

Old facility, was a "gold" member for many years because it is one of the few gyms with a pool. When I went to cancel they gave me a bunch of bull about a 30 day cancellation policy. Why? An excuse to take a little bit more money from you. The people that run this place are rude and operate a run down facility.

UPDATE 7/21/19: Benny to the rescue. My wife called in today to confirm the story I received from Megan. Turns out you can begin membership on the weekends. We came in and signed up. Time to train.
-β-------------------------------------
(7/20/19) I was a member in 2007. I moved away and recently moved back to Bellingham. It was time for me to do some gym shopping. Unfortunately, there isn't much to offer in Bellingham. I don't know why this town doesn't have a nice gym, but BAC is the best of the bad situation I'm in. So I thought.
Called in on a Saturday to discuss membership types and fees. Was given some great info by Brad(?). I told him I'd be by later to join and train. At least I thought it was great information.
When I walked in later that afternoon, Megan greeted me and asked how she could help. I said that I wanted to become a member and train. She said I couldn't sign up on the weekend since their membership team worked weekdays only. WTH? Are you kidding me? Could I train for the day? Nope, not allowed either. I feel like that bit-o information would have been helpful during my phonecall.

The Bellingham Athletic club has a great relationship with the area hotels. I stayed at the best western and was able to to go the club and play racquet ball, swim and use the weight room with my daughter. None of the facilities I used were crowded, and the staff was super friendly. Highly recommend.

I LOVE my gym! It's the people and the classes that make it. Yes, the building is older but it is clean and they are working hard to keep it up. I look forward to exercise because of what the club offers but most of all the friendships I have made. If you are nervous about starting an exercise program, come here, you will welcomed by all.

Small pool and the mens locker room smells like there's a bag of dead fish hidden in one of the rusted out lockers. Paying $65 a month for membership makes me think that they should remodel it before we all come down with some horrible pulmonary condition.

I have had a BAC membership for three months. The facility and equipment is fine but I am planning to cancel my membership at BAC and start a membership at the Y. The reason for the change is that at BAC music was played in workout areas of staff choosing, which made it difficult to listen to music/books on my personal device. On touring the Y I found that music is not played over speakers in workout areas.

This is one of the pricier clubs in town.
The good : their kids club is amazing! The staff is so great with the kids and my son is excited to go!
They offer a huge variety of classes and they have a pool!
It doesn't get as busy as the cheaper clubs in town.
The not so good : the facility itself (building and property) is terribly run down and old. The outside of the building has paint falling off, the sidewalks and parking lot are uneven and have potholes. The lighting is bad outside and it is a huge tripping hazard.
The inside of the building is terribly old and there is only so much "fixing" that can be done. It is in desperate need of remodeling. The pool area needs major work. The bottom of the pool tears up your feet. The pool locker room is disgusting, rusty, moldy and I swear the drains need to be redone. There is a terrible smell in there. Even the vents are crusty and rusted.
The ventilation and air system is severely lacking. Get a few sweaty people it there and it is steamy and smelly.
The rates were raised recently due to the increase in minimum wage (what they pay most of their employees)...it was very hard to justify paying even more for a very old, rundown/dirty gym.

I was hesitant to sign up here b/c of the monthly membership fee and lots of negative reviews-but I took a chance b/c I saw they had babysitting services available. I can't even say all the great things about this place! I absolutely love going to the group classes and my children love the Kid's Club. We are even taking swim lessons--which have a reasonable price and the instructors are excellent and patient with the kids.
The staff are knowledgeable and really wonderful! Now that I see all the services that are provided, I understand the cost. If you have any issues, they try to work at resolving your problems. Yes, the club is outdated...it needs a fresh coat of paint and new lighting...but the staff and members make up for this.

I absolutely love this club. There are classes for everyone no matter what your fitness level is. I have found the instructors and evert employee to be so kind an professional. I have been to many athletic clubs all over the country and this one goes beyond the call of duty with keeping up with new exercise techniques and well and just being so motivational. Jeri who teaches HIT and Ripped is so incredibly talented and the warmest human being that I have ever met. She cares so much about everyone who walks into her class. This gym is the best part of my move to Bellingham for sure!
