Belltown Strength and Conditioning is more than just a gym - it is a community of intelligent coaches and eager to learn students striving to understand how to move better and live a healthier life. We train with purpose and aim to help each student reach their goals in and outside of the gym. We focus on form first and try to create an inclusive and positive environment for everyone. We offer a range of classes from barbells and kettlebells to circuit-style conditioning classes.

Bottom line: I've been in gyms for 34 years and Belltown Strength and Conditioning hits all the right notes.
I had an amazing experience at Belltown Strength & Conditioning. From the moment I walked in, Itzelβs warmth and friendliness made me feel instantly at home. Melissa was a phenomenal coach β encouraging, attentive, and skilled at guiding me beyond my comfort zone with thoughtful, gentle corrections that elevated my form. Most of my workout life my focus was on weights, steady-state cardio, and CrossFit. I steered clear of hip thrusters and resistance bands for years, but Melissa converted me. Well done, team!

Spent 4 months living in Belltown and was so lucky to have found this gym! Cheap classes, friendly faces, and an approachable mentality. All of the coaches are great and the community is super welcoming! They had all the equipment I needed and the gym was never too crowded. Join the Friday chippers if you can!

The gym is awesome, and the sessions are seriously top-notch for getting in shape. Tony, Hana, Melissa, and Adrienne are all fantastic instructors who really know their stuff when it comes to guiding workouts. Itzel is really helpful and friendly. And big shoutout to Tony for going the extra mile with the fun Chipper class every Friday!

Belltown strength is spacious, has great equipment, experienced trainers and quality programming - all combining to provide a holistic gain in strength and fitness levels. I have loved being a part of their group classes for barbells and kettlebells which cater to all skill levels. Highly recommend the monthly membership that lets you attend unlimited classes!

I have been working out here since fall 2019. The staff is very friendly and they take care to demonstrate good form through the variety of motions and exercises. Every trainer is worthwhile. They will gladly customize their programming and planning to meet your level of experience, your comfort, and/or any aches and pains or other concerns you may have. The space is large, unlike some other nearby gyms that have group classes where the members are way too close to be safe. My experience is mostly the group classes, but based on classes I have taken where I happened to be the only one on the schedule, I presume that the one-on-one personal training is also high quality.

Belltown strength and conditioning classes are a total game changer for me. Having done only cardio exercises all my life, I was eased into the world of strength and conditioning by focusing on fundamentals of barbell and kettlebell on recurring weekly schedules. The trainers- Tony, Adrienne, Melissa and Ollie have been very helpful in my strengthening journey. Their attention to movements and coaching during the sessions have enabled me to exercise correctly by watching over my form. I look forward to the unique monthly challenges they post at the start of the month!

No matter your level of expertise, one of the best gyms to be at and thatβs especially true for beginners. They have a good mix of barbells,kettlebells, hiit classes and the team is really supportive and care about you improving (even better than some of the personal trainers Ive had in the past) . Stopped in for a workout while staying in Belltown on vacation. The facility is clean and well-lit, and equipped with a good amount of cardio, barbell, and kettlebell equipment. The owner, John, was friendly and got me set up right away. Would return in the future.

In short! Super fun Circuit class and kind folks.
Pros: great switch up from my normal routine and laid out plans.
I really enjoyed being able to drop in and try something completely new and being able to jump from station to station was a great challenge. John teaches a great class and for those beginning to medium level folks you can pace yourself !
cons: this isn't something they can help but parking in the area can the area can be tricky so shoot for the parking spot across the street or spot hero.

I possibly write enough positive things about the trainers and the program at this gym. Coming here has changed my life, as I was living it. I am stronger, better balanced, and fitter than Iβve been in 6 years. I couldnβt be happier, no matter which trainer Iβm working with, or what class Iβm attending. I 100% recommend Belltown Strength & Conditioning to anyone looking for a change in their approach to fitness.

My favorite part about Belltown is I learn something new literally every time I go! All the instructors hold a/multiple certification(s), which many studios and gyms don't require to be an instructor. Their attention to detail and one on one coaching even in group settings is awesome! My only critique is there aren't a ton of times on the schedule to take classes, which can be tricky if you have a jam packed and busy schedule!

Highly recommend if you're a beginner or just looking to have a good workout! Iβve taken a class with each instructor and have enjoyed every one of them. They have a great variety of classes (including yoga!) running 7 days a week morning/night. Their classes range from beginner (me) to advantaged. I tried their free week trial and became a member on week two!

I am middle aged. I have shoulder and arm injuries from falling off my bike and attempting crossfit 10+ years ago - I'm injury prone! I had lifted weights no more than once a year before I joined Belltown Strength and Conditioning a year ago.
One year in, I know how to lift, how to work with kettlebells, and I'm in so much better shape than I was. They've been amazingly helpful at helping me get stronger without aggravating my old injuries. I'm much, much stronger, my shoulders feel better than ever, and I haven't missed a day due to injuries.
If you want to get in better shape, no matter your body shape or age, I would highly, highly recommend joining this gym.

The Belltown Strength is a fantastic gym.
All of the coaches are knowledgable, attentive, supportive and badass. There's focus on form, which when lifting wieghts, is so important to prevent injuries.
The classes are all small group classes, so there's great indiviualized feedback and you see gamiliar faces, which makes a great workout community.
Personally, I use the gym to cross train for running, biking, backpacking and cross country skiing and I've never felt stronger or more confident.
Another huge plus, the coaches are highly adept at adpating workouts around a recovering injury or issue. It's great to know that I can get in a safe workout even during recovery.

Iβve scoured downtown for a gym that has legit programming, and Belltown Strength and Conditioning is by far the best. Hannah programs challenging workouts that force you to improve in strength, cardio, and core, and thoroughly teaches form. Karla is also extremely knowledgeable and an awesome coach. Both of them have really helped me work through prior injuries, and improve my overall performance!

I love going to this gym! It has a good mixture of cardio/HIIT and strength classes. Hannah, Karla and other instructors are super friendly and focus a lot on form. I like that it's run and taught by women. The environment is always supportive and encouraging. If you're new to kettlebells, I recommend taking their intro classes.

Karla was an excellent instructor and the equipment and space were perfect for the kettlebell course. As a first time visitor it was a little difficult to find the studio however once I found it, I enjoyed the challenging class.

Love this spot! All of the instructors, especially Hannah, are fantastic. They walk you through each move and correct form as needed. The workouts vary but revolve around kettlebell-based movements. The gym is small, but spacious enough for the usual size of class. It also makes it more one-to-one training depending on the time of day.
