I have been helping others transform for the past 12 years, everyone from professional retired MLB players, injured elder who felt their "good years" were behind them, weekend warriors, teens, and everyone in between.

I’ve worked with a number of trainers in the past, and every coach has their own style — but Benjamin is truly one of a kind. He’s not just knowledgeable; you can tell he genuinely wants you to get better and be healthy in every sense — physically and mentally.
His program, Practical Empowerment, really lives up to its name. Every session feels personalized and purposeful. He’s helped me recover from multiple injuries while still pushing toward my goals, and somehow manages to strike the perfect balance of being both strong and gentle in his approach.
What stands out most is how he makes you want to show up, train harder, and live a stronger, healthier life overall. The tools and mindset shifts I’ve learned from him have made such a lasting impact — I know I’ll carry them for years to come.

Benjamin is such a find! Knowledgeable, personable and so adaptive to personal needs. My sister and I are traveling dodgeball players, and I'm a full time mom, so my schedule is packed! Making the workouts fit in to my schedule is a super power that Benjamin is equipped to handle. Assisting in nutrition and helping me battle through numerous injuries and emotional setbacks, he has been monumental in the movement towards goals. I feel blessed to have had him as a trainer! Where to start with vouching for Coach B's impact on my daily practices? I started learning about his work quite by happenstance at a board game night. We got to talking meditation, feasting, and types of movement. I have been redefining what self care means to me internally for the past few years but hadn't been able to talk all components of what that meant with anyone externally. He's got it and was easy to talk to bc he's actually listening and incredibly knowledgeable. The best part, he talked to me about what that whole bundle of tools looks like in terms of a calendar day!
I play hockey, gained kiddo weight, and was ready to commit to changing my habits, but freezing up and had no momentum. I just kept waiting. What do I do in what order with the limited amount of time I have between all the hats I juggle? When I can afford X I'll do it. Etc.
Then we picked a day to train and it was the best gym exercise experience I've had in a long time. Abs? Yep we worked em on the mat and from laughing. Squats? Yep I breathed about them. Was I exhausted? Yes, but in a refreshing inspired way. That night I sat down and mapped out the incremental changes I could make for the next week. Which has lead to a three month streak!
Seriously, make the shift. Go play in Coach B's gym. Your life will pivot in an empowered direction.

I found Benjamin through a simple Google search in December 2024, but the transformation I've experienced over the past six months has been anything but simple. I was looking for a personal trainer near me in Bellevue, WA, and what I found was so much more—a health coach, a motivator, and someone who truly gets it.
From the very first session which I asked my sister to join because we're on a fitness journey together, Benjamin made us feel seen, heard, and empowered. My sister and I are both competitive dodgeball players in our 40s, but we’ve each had our fair share of injuries and health setbacks—she’s dealt with a cervical injury, a torn bicep, and foot issues; I’ve struggled with chronic knee problems that flare up unpredictably. And even beyond the physical, we both carry histories of chronic respiratory illness from childhood. We were the "sick kids" who missed out on things like recess and PE. For me, the biggest battle hasn’t just been physical—it’s been about shedding the old identity of being a “sick person” and embracing the idea that I can be strong and resilient.
Benjamin understands that journey better than anyone. He’s incredibly fit—tall, strong, and clearly dedicated to health—but what makes him truly extraordinary is the path he took to get there. As someone who struggled with obesity and health issues growing up, he brings deep empathy and lived experience to his work. He doesn’t just tell you to “do better”—he guides you toward a healthier lifestyle, step by step, in a way that feels sustainable, not overwhelming.
His approach to training isn’t one-size-fits-all. He meets you where you’re at—physically, emotionally, mentally. Whether it’s helping my sister navigate workouts around her injuries, or helping me break free of emotional patterns like stress-eating or skipping workouts when life gets hectic, Benjamin is a steady and compassionate guide. He’s taught us to make small, consistent shifts and to “stack” healthy habits so they become part of our daily rhythm, not something we have to force.
We train in-person weekly and sometimes add Zoom sessions when schedules get tight. He sends encouraging check-ins, nutrition tips, and is building an online school that’s designed to keep clients connected and supported outside of sessions. Every interaction is infused with authenticity and care. He doesn’t just train bodies—he trains people.
