I started my yoga journey with 8 weeks intro class. I enjoyed it so much that I repeated the same class, just few weeks later after first course was over.
Now I am a regular student - my go to classes are Yin with Christina (it’s super peaceful class, Christina’s calm voice is guiding you through each pose. It helps to sink into every move and allows to fully participate), Moving Meditation with Veronica (slightly faster than Yin. Veronica’s friendly attitude always makes me feel welcome and peaceful).

I’m sure all teachers are amazing - I just didn’t have a chance to visit their classes yet!

What I appreciate at Body Reflects:
- all are welcome - teachers always ask about any mobility limitations
- alternative poses are suggested in case you can’t / don’t want to go for the most challenging one
- warm welcome every time

I would like to see more early morning classes, but I understand it’s difficult to find few people willing to start at 7 am. Specially during the big dark in Seattle.

The entire team is amazing, warm and welcoming. Lauren is my go-to and she’s just so damn good at her job it’s insane. I always leave feeling incredibly loose and relaxed, and I literally count the days until my next session. 5 Stars just ain’t enough for this place. Please go give them all your money!

I’ve taken a handful of yoga classes here and have loved them all. It’s a small studio, the last class I took there were only 3 students and I think the biggest class I’ve been to was 10, so there’s more opportunity for personalized instruction and hands on assistance (there are painted rocks to indicate if you want to be touched or not). The teachers speak in a normal voice (not the stereotypical yoga teacher cadence), classes feel nice and casual not intense and cliquey, and teachers offer plenty of modifications based on injuries or how your body is feeling that day. The studio isn’t cold but the classes I’ve taken haven’t been hot yoga, not sure if any of the classes are, which compliments the relaxed, casual vibe. The only slight downside is parking because it’s close to the Seattle Center, but there’s plenty of paid street parking right outside and if you walk a block or 2 you can find some free 2 hr spots as well.

Overall I love the studio and am excited to have found it!

I was traveling in Seattle in August, and I took a yoga class here. Two months later and I am still thinking about it! The class itself was amazing, and I loved the combination of calm and powerful that I felt during and afterwards. I also loved their system of using a painted rock to signify if you felt comfortable being touched by the instructor. It made me feel so safe and full of agency in the studio. I haven’t always felt like that in a dance/yoga studio context, so this extra effort towards consent meant so much to me!! I wholeheartedly recommend this yoga studio to anyone who is interested.

The massage staff is incredible. I've seen all the therapists and have been a loyal client of Carlie's since before she had her own studio. If I hadn't moved across the water, I'd still be attending yoga classes there too. Each therapist has a unique style and specialty, so I can't recommend just one—you'll need to try each to find your favorite. Massage is part of my healthcare routine, and while I'd like to choose based on my needs, they often get booked. However, I always receive a fabulous massage regardless.

I had a life-changing massage with Carlie that not only immediately relieved some upper back pain, but also set me up with systemic solutions to try to avoid future back pain at the outset. So knowledgeable and a lovely location!

The space was beautiful and had easy access to cubbies for personal items as well as interesting products to look at. The teacher was knowledgable and guided us through poses in a way that made me feel like I was gaining more confidence and stability in my practice.

I receive bodywork from Abby Thomson and recommend her highly! She always does a thorough intake/assessment. She listens really well and keeps good notes, along with follow up. During the massage I'm so super cozy on her heated table and beautiful treatment room. Her pressure is always perfect for me. Every body is different (with pressure preference) so she is really good about checking in and holds the space that allows the client to feel like they can speak up if they want more or less pressure or want an area to be addressed more. I feel like she gets a lot of really good work done in our our sessions. Do yourself a favor and get a package because it is such a treat to look forward to every month.

Great massage from Abby. They asked me about the areas I wanted to focus on beforehand, and checked in every now and then about the pressure. She also checked in to see if I wanted her to focus more on any area before moving on to another part of my body. The only thing is there seemed to be a kids birthday party in another room and those noise was distracting now and then. Despite that, I think I'll be back!!! I might just double check if they're hosting any events in their space, beforehand.

I booked a massage on short notice due to neck and shoulder pain. Mary not only did a great job releasing the pain in the areas she worked on, but she also gave me very helpful advice on actions I could take to help prevent the problem from recurring.

I was already a big fan of Body Reflects; it’s a beautiful, naturally-lit yoga studio space with private body work rooms operated by a brilliant, energetic, and positive team of instructors. However, I’ve recently made the leap from casual drop-in to ultimate mega-fan. I’ve been lucky enough to practice yoga with Carlie and Mary for many moons, and I’ve received incredible, restorative massages from both of them whenever I book their service. Most recently, I had the chance to get a massage with a new practitioner, Abby, who certainly exceeded my expectations. I didn’t know that therapeutic bliss and delicate posturing adjustments could happen all at once, but the experience left me wanting more. I felt like my body was getting put back in order, and I was completely refreshed from the experience. You literally can’t go wrong with any body work from any of the Body Reflects therapists. I highly recommend them all and will certainly be back as soon as possible for more. Thank you, BR Team!

My instructor for the class I took was Claudia Saunders:

I've only dabbled with yoga in the past and have never had a great experience. I decided to try this one out because its nearby and I wanted to give it another shot. Long story short, I will be making this a regular part of my workout regimen. Afterwards my body felt more limber and relaxed than it has for as long as I can remember. I enjoyed the intimate and peaceful atmosphere, and the challenging, but not frustrating routines.

Low key studio with a warm, friendly vibe. Instructors are great at teaching to many levels within a class. A couple of the instructors are also bodyworkers and their deep understanding of anatomy shows in their classes and their massages. Monthly 10 class pass is a great value!

Love the Vinyasa yoga classes here! Unlike the other classes I've taken in the past, these classes are small allowing the instructor to give you more feedback and help you work on your posture. Great for all levels.

Carlie is such a wonderful and knowledgable massage therapist. She has helped me with Crossfit injuries, back/neck pain from an old car accident, and general body maintenance.
The BodyReflects space is beautiful, bright, and calming. I've only made it to one yoga class at BR, but that one was great too!
