The absolute best place that accommodates both in understanding, as well as in session for chronic conditions. I have been able to get so much stronger without the challenges of over-exerting and flaring my chronic condition. Never not enjoyed a class and highly recommend this place to all my friends :)

Body Tonic is run by exacting Pilates royalty; the owner knows and keeps up on all things β€˜body’, all her instructors are certified, or on their way to that lofty place, and although they can really work you hard, I have never, ever, gotten hurt in class. This place is serious! and I started at 53, I am now 73, and feel strong and frisky! thank you Nadia! certainly is a tonic for me

When I started going to Bodytonic, I had never done pilates before. I was also recovering from a pregnancy. Nadia was so welcoming and patient! It was really beneficial to have one-on-one sessions so I could learn the equipment and terminology. Nadia then matched me with other people in a small group class and it was great. The work-outs were all tailored to our fitness level and were never boring. The foam roller work was especially helpful because I kept that up at home whenever my body felt out of whack. I was doing in-person classes two days a week and felt a huge difference in my energy and fitness levels - as well as my strength and my flexibility. This is the only fitness class I actually kept up with regularly because of all the benefits! Nadia and her substitute instructors are really top tier compared to other pilates instructors.

Highly recommend! All of the instructors are knowledgeable and adapt the exercises to your skill level and health needs. Every week I appreciate my body more for all it does and can do. The studio is equipped with a variety of machines and tools to workout beyond the traditional reformer, like a springboard, a Cadillac, chair, and other props to address different areas of your body. Another thing that makes the studio stand out is Nadia. I went through personal stuff and Nadia was outstandingly helpful and empathetic.

I highly recommend Bodytonic Pilates. At the start of every session I am asked how my body feels and any problem areas are addressed with the instructors. I am so grateful for the time I have spent in the studio and always comment that the three sessions I attend each week are my favorite hours of the week.

Amazing trainers! Every session is quality and relaxing yet challenging. Pilates peeps know what I mean. The only issue is accessibility for working people. There are springboard evening classes but reformer classes are hard to come by. That is my only complaint. Those who cannot climb stairs should know there is no elevator and you must climb a few levels to reach zen

Beautiful studio, perfectly equipped. Knowledgeable and kind staff. In a fun, old Pioneer Square bldg - the stairs give you your warm-up for class! : )

I've been going to BodyTonic Pilates for over 10 years. I started going because my back would occasionally go out on me. Building up my core strength was my initial goal, and now it's become an important, really fun and continually challenging part of my physical fitness. The studio and instructors are excellent. Highly recommend!

I have been participated in weekly pilates classes at Bodytonic for about two years, and have been enjoying my experience and seeing results! I've participated in private, duo, triple, and online classes with five different instructors, and I have enjoyed every single one. The instructors have all been patient and affirming, even when the exercises are very challenging...and I find a lot of the exercises challenging. (I am not a very physically flexible person.) I also enjoy that every class so far is a balance of stretching and strengthening, which I very much need. I was also recently injured in a motor vehicle accident, which resulted in severe back pain and difficulty sitting for long periods of time. Pilates at Bodytonic was instrumental in my recovery.

Bodytonic is located in an inviting and expansive studio space inside one of Pioneer Square's historic exposed brick buildings, which means only stairs to get to the third floor studio. They have a couple of changing rooms, three reformers, two cadillacs, a "reformillac", two pilates chairs, six wall-mounted springboards, and access to a ton of pilates tools, such as foam rollers, resistance bands, rings, and more. In terms of payment and choosing sessions, you pay up-front for four classes, where you can be in a regular class by yourself or with one or two other people. Springboard group classes and virtual ones are also available. And then Nadia will send you the next invoice as you approach the fourth class so you can keep going. If you miss a class, you can sign-up for a make-up one through the website member portal.

I have only been to two other pilates studios. And I'm thrilled to call Bodytonic my pilates studio because of their inviting space, knowledgeable instructors, and access to equipment. And even better to be supporting a BIPOC woman-owned local business!

Going to see Nadi at Bodytonic was a life changing experience for me. I was newly postpartum from my first pregnancy and thought I would give Pilates a try. It was a breath of fresh air and Nadia is an absolute rockstar at explaining technique and providing the exact feedback necessary to correct your form. My mind and body were transformed as I enjoyed private lessons as well as classes. Sadly, I have moved and am no longer able to attend in person but I truly loved my time here and had such a wonderful experience with the instructors and other members.

During a half-year stay in Santa Monica, I took 15 sessions with Nadia. I enjoyed it thoroughly, and left with a new understanding of breath and movement.

Nadia is highly skilled, incredibly pleasant, kind and patient. She is attentive in ways one doesn't generally see -- making sure one's body is positioned exactly as it should be. She encourages the client to report any discomfort or pain without shame or hesitation. I highly highly recommend working with Nadia.

I found this studio via searching for Oliviaβ€” She is the best Pilates instructor I have taken classes from. I actually started the Pilates journey in a class with Olivia within my company when I suffered from very bad lower body pain a few years ago. She later started at a nearby studio so I went to continue taking the class from her. Magically after taking a few weeks of her classes, my posture improved a lot and my lower body pain was gone. My PT said the Pilates class did so much to me! The best part of Olivia’s class is that the level of intensity is well planned. In addition to a smooth flow of Pilates practice, she mixes a few cardio exercises like mountain climber to ensure we get enough heart beat rate, and at the very end of the exercise we will have a few minutes mindfulness practice just to lay down and relax. She asks us to appreciate the hard work our body has done and not to do any analytics or criticize. This helps me relieve the stress accumulated in daily life.

Olivia left the other studio a while ago and I have taken classes from other instructors but none of them could give this unique experience of Pilates practice. I had been searching for her new studio from time to time and finally found her again! Due to distance of the studio I cannot go there physically, but I am very glad they offer virtual classes and it is as good as the physical class! So happy to continue my Pilates journey with Olivia!

In addition to Olivia, I think Nadia, who is the owner of the studio, is also super awesome. I didn’t take classes from her, but we interacted a bit over emails for administrative topics. I wanted to note that she is very easy to communication, friendly, and responsive. I am very glad to find this studio and I will continue taking classes from this studio :)!

This is a nice studio and the owner and staff are very professional and supportive. They always check in to see if clients have any physical issues that may require modifications of the standard exercises. The workouts are challenging but tailored to clients' individual needs, so they're suitable for anyone from beginner to advanced level. I highly recommend Bodytonic Pilates.

I've been attending classes at Bodytonic Pilates with Nadia for over a year. I am not a ballerina or athlete, I am a middle age man who sits at a desk. Nadia is incredibly skilled at finding the right balance of support and challenge to meet my goals for strengthening and flexibility. She is able to individualize exercises and support even in a group setting, tailored to my abilities.

Even more impressive, she's been able to maintain this level of support through remote sessions during the pandemic. I would highly recommend Nadia and Bodytonic to anyone of any ability level curious about incorporating Pilates into fitness and wellness plans!

I love the small class sizes at Bodytonic Pilates. Staying fit during the pandemic and my pregnancy was important to me, so glad I was able to stay active with Nadia's virtual classes. Nadia is so knowledgeable about the body, I always felt very safe exercising with her in a virtual environment. To anyone looking to bring more strength and stability into their life I would highly recommend classes with Bodytonic Pilates.
