Terrible experience. We arrived exactly when class started, yet Nicole refused to let my son join. She hid behind β€œpolicy” that doesn’t even say what she claimed, and when I asked to speak with the coach, she flat-out refused. The lack of flexibility, professionalism, and basic courtesy was shocking. As a paying parent, I felt completely disrespected and unwelcome. We will not be returning.

I mean, It's an ok place if no other options, but most of the coaches l assume are teenagers and don't really care that much. I would say for the most part it is a waste of your money (and it is not cheap).
There are couple of coaches who care about the kids and teach their best, but most coaches seem like just don't care and are unmotivated. Kids look bored and they do same things over and over.

We love it here! I'm very surprised by the recent 1 star reviews because we've had the opposite experience since I've started bringing them 2 yrs ago with my eldest kid, and now all 3 attend. Not only have the front staff and the email communication been extremely friendly, they've always been understanding and flexible. One of our kids is extremely anxious and can have BIG emotions. There were times where my child had major meltdowns (screaming, crying) and they've always been understanding of my attempts to parent in the space; never felt judgement, only encouragement. It's a great place for my kids to exercise, learn discipline, have fun, and be proud of their own progress. We look forward to continue going to BGC.

Bring your kids here if you want to experience rude staff and being talked to you as if you’re a child. I have literally never met a kind staff member that works behind the counter. The trainers are hit and miss as well. We came in to do a summer make up session and made a mistake reading the email and I literally got chewed out by the lady behind the counter. Is that necessary? You tell me.

Not a good place. Think twice before bringing your kid.

We enrolled my 2.5-year-old nephew in this gymnastics club, hoping it would be a fun and supportive environment where he could learn and enjoy physical activity. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. After a minor instance of typical toddler misbehavior, we were told he could no longer attend the program. While I understand the importance of safety and order, the way the situation was handled showed little to no empathy toward young children and their developmental stage.

At this age, children are still learning self-control and social skills, and I believe a club that works with toddlers should know how to guide them patiently rather than immediately exclude them. Instead of constructive communication or offering solutions, the decision felt abrupt and unkind. To make matters worse, no refund was provided, which I find both unfair and unprofessional.

I truly hope the management can reflect on this and improve their approach toward young children and their families. A place that works with kids should not only teach physical skills but also understand and support the unique needs of early childhood.

We got my 3.5 year old daughter in 2023 for weekday session. Coach was experienced and she understood the dynamics of each kid and was able to give them proper coaching. My daughter even started trying head stand on her own. Then in Fall 2024 we registered for weekend sessions as she was doing 5 day full day school. Weekend classes are just time pass for the management they put high school students as coach. My daughter’s coach was very lethargic and have not seen her doing a single move in the few sessions that we took. I found few other school going coaches being very proactive and energetic. We eventually stopped gymnastics for the interim and exploring other sports for now.
Pros: They have sessions throughout the year and for all age groups from 18 months with flexible timings and affordable pricing
Cons: You are lucky if you get a good coach

I’m incredibly disappointed with Bothell Gymnastics. Unlike every other class we've experienced, they refuse to offer make-up classes or refunds for missed sessions during the summer. It’s frustrating and unfair, especially since most other programs are more accommodating. Their rigid policy shows a lack of flexibility and concern for their customers. It feels like they’re more interested in taking your money than ensuring a positive experience. I expected better, and I won’t be recommending them to anyone.

As a parent, don't jump into the ball pit...its like 6 feet deep. Totally good time if you wanted to experience quicksand as your toddlers jump on your face.

We have been going to BGC since the beginning of the year - so about 8m now - & we LOVE it!! My daughter (who is now 3yrs old, tho started when she was 2) has such a blast here. She arrived with no gym skills really… her idea of a jump was just bouncing back & forth from one foot to the other. Now, not only can she jump properly, she has wonderful balance on the balance beams, does the bear crawl bars like a pro & does somersault all by herself, amongst other skills. My son is so excited to almost be of age to start going to BGC as well. Coach Amy is the absolute best! If you’re looking for a great place to send your kid, you’ve found it!

I am extremely pleased with the quality of the lessons. I feel my daughter, who is a beginner, is learning the fundamentals of gymnastics. The instructor allows each child in the class to learn at their own pace while consistently teaching something new. I think everyone at BGC is doing a great job under the new covid guidelines and I will definetly be returning for future lessons.

My daughter has participated in the rec gymnastics classes at BGC for just over a year now & we couldn't be happier. She has grown in strength & confidence - this is now her favorite sport!!

When she was much younger, she participated in gymnastics at a different gym & as soon as she was bumped to a pre-team class, she was intimidated by the intensity of the instruction & the size of the other girls (she was added to a group of older girls). She quickly switched gears & participated in other activities for a few years, but last year wanted to try gymnastics again even if it meant starting at the beginning.

Bothell Gymnastics has been wonderful for her. ALL of her instructors have been positive, supportive & safety-conscious, but the most important asset to this gym is they do not push kids to the next level "just because." Kids must earn the opportunity to move forward by proving they have the physical strength to tackle the skills taught in the next class level - this is so important in a day & age when kids are given trophies & ribbons willy-nilly and have an unfounded expectation to move forward, not to mention that it highlights the focus on safety at this gym!

My daughter is PROUD when she earns a spot at the next level & she has the physical strength to support her. Keala, Adrienne & all of the instructors are amazing!! They also have started a boys' program, which is fun to watch as it grows.

In short, I highly recommend this studio as a place for kids to grow in confidence & strength. :)

This place is horrible. In my kid’ third class(including the trial class), her feet got injured by the hazard existed in the gym ground due to their unfulfilled safety responsibility. This dangerous sharp metal bottom (I uploaded the picture) should not be there and I do not know how long it has been there like this. I asked for the accident record and received it. After that, I communicated with them via emails.

All the emails were uploaded here in order to let people know that, the owner are trying to deny their responsibility and still evident me that they take the safety issue very seriously. If they value safety, how can that kind of hazard exist in the ground. Safety is not to fix the hazard after someone got injured, but most importantly to keep the environment safe in advance.

I was so disappointed by Keala the owner’ attitude during this whole communication process. She was not willing to admit their fault and apologize. What I requested was a formal apology and receive no response at this point. This place is definitely not a good place for kids to learn. If nothing happens, everyone is happy. If injury happens, what they do and say just prove what kind of people they are. Please read all the emails if you have time.

This gym is another good example of the dark side of youth sports. They hold kids back from advancement and will not teach them new skills. They say it's because Bothell gymnastics strives for perfection. Don't be fooled, this is a program that puts winning first. They hold kids back to form the strongest teams in order to win meets. Your child will not grow here. Stay away!!

I have no idea what eco friend is talking about. We have visited a few gyms and BGC has the most competent coaches. Also, BCG's offers competitive pricing which I consider to be on the low end. More importantly, I trust the coaches with my daughter. You cannot place a price on TRUST. I cannot say the same about other gyms in our vicinity. When my daughter was only four, I had to take her to the ER because she was not properly supervised which resulted in her climbing up to high beam and falling off. Yes, she was not adequately supervised because the other gym had 20 kids running around the gym like wild monkeys. BGC is an incredible gym with so many positive aspects to include coaches that genuinely care about their students. Don't let eco friend tell you otherwise.

We have tried out a few gymnastic places in the area and we have loved Bothell Gymnastics Club. It's clean and welcoming. I love how they do their registration and tuition payments online on their website. It's very convenient. My daughter loves her class and her sweet teacher who you can tell loves what she does. As a parent I love the parent viewing area. Parents can sit on bleachers or one of the tables. It's easy to watch my daughter the entire time and for her to see me. I bring my special needs son with me to watch my daughter and I love that it's wheelchair/stroller accessible.

My daughter, who is 4 years old, was instantly welcomed. She is full of energy and had been hard to get her to focus on one task.
She is so excited to go here because all of the staff has been so welcoming, patient, and genuinely seem like they love what they do.
I would recommend this gymnastics club to everyone.

I have been very impressed with the instructors at the Club. Our grand-daughter has been coming here for a couple years and LOVES it. They have taught her so many things that she uses in her everyday life...THANK YOU ALL for the effort and time you put into all of the children you teach..
