I absolutely love the instruction and emphasis on safety skills first, then stroke development. Instructors Kamela, Liz, and Fénix are amazing.

After a couple of months, it went downhill. We were placed at a colder area of the pool (82*), and the pool area continued to be as dirty as ever. It was so smelly and there was hair everywhere. There were six babies/toddlers in his class and one changing table. Everyone, including the instructors were shaking in the pool. This is definitely not healthy, especially for the little ones. I brought this issue up over the phone and didn’t get any follow up.
In addition, his swim instructor moved locations and they weren’t able to find a replacement for months. Therefore, my son had a different swim instructor every week. We weren’t communicated about this at all. He made little progress during this time.

Once we moved locations, all of these issues were resolved but we were charged more for the new location. I would recommend other BSS locations for kids 3 and under or if you’re looking for a semi private environment. If your child is past swim safety and onto stroke development, it may be worth it to check out public pool options as they are a fraction of the price of BSS. BSS definitely needs to give some attention to this location as it’s so cold and dirty.

Very disappointed with this swimming school. The class time is too short for four kids, and the place is not clean or organized. The biggest issue is that they gave another girl a private lesson even though she paid the same as us. That girl started at the same time as my daughter, but they said she’s been there for a year — which is not true. The staff are rude and unprofessional. Don’t waste your money here! It’s not just my opinion — many families have already left this school because of the bad management and careless staff.

I had signed up my kids for a program but didn’t realize there was an automatic payment, which I was charged for. However, my kids ended up not attending as we chose a different plan. When I brought this to their attention, they were kind enough to issue a full refund—including the registration fee. I truly appreciate their integrity and responsiveness.

Great program to introduce your child to swimming. I have only had positive interactions with the customer care and all the coaches. Most importantly my child loves the lessons

We got the worst experience with British Swim School. The tuition is ridiculously expensive $188/month + annual registration fee of $40/student. So, without the included registration fee, it is almost $50/half an hour, and the ratio between the teacher and swimmers is 1:4, so every student will have less than 10 minutes of instructions with the teacher. What does this mean? It means you pay for $47/less than 10 minutes. Just wow! They used the swimming pools at Lynnwood 24h fitness to give the lessons. You can imagine how much inconvenient it is when your child does not have proper places like bathrooms for changing clothes or taking a shower. They do have some pop-up changing tents though. Also, their customer service is just so bad! I called for so many times for scheduling and asking information about how does it work if the kid got upgraded to the next level but the line is always busy. I left some voice messages and they did not return my call. Needless to say, I will not recommend this place and will never consider coming back. It was so disapponting!

Great teachers at this location. My child’s had teachers Jose, Ruth, Leah and Dorian. The place and swimming pool area only needs to have some upgrades/ renovations, just like the same swim school in Everett.
