I highly recommend Cal! I love the personalized sessions for so many reasons. I don’t have to learn Pilates with an audience, I get one on one instruction from Cal along with corrections while doing the exercises, he focuses on what I need to work on and adjusts the workouts as we go, he pushes me to be better, and I love his sense of humor and quippy remarks! Cal has many years of experience in practicing and teaching Pilates and spends a lot of time teaching the technique and art form of Pilates, so that you have the right foundation to practice Pilates for the rest of your life. I even catch myself during the day reminding myself of the things he teaches me during the sessions. If you want to change your way of life and have a positive impact on your health then try a session with Cal at Cal’s Fitness!

I can’t recommend Cal enough! As a medical professional, I was especially cautious about who I trusted with my body during the final stages of pregnancy—and Cal exceeded every expectation. I started working with him in the late third trimester while dealing with severe pain from abdominal and pubic bone diastasis, as well as piriformis syndrome and sciatica.

Cal welcomed me without hesitation and made me feel completely safe and supported. He carefully adapted every exercise to manage my pain and avoid placing extra strain on my body. His knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics is exceptional, and he truly tailors each session to the individual needs of his clients. Within just a few sessions, I experienced significant relief—I was able to move more freely and care for my two small children without constant pain.

I was scheduled for a repeat C-section (my third), and I firmly believe that training with Cal made all the difference in my recovery. I didn’t need any opioids this time, my post-op pain was much milder, and I was able to walk and stand much sooner than after my previous surgeries.

Also, I was never a “workout person,” but Cal somehow made it fun and enjoyable! If you’re looking for a Pilates instructor who is compassionate, highly skilled, and deeply attentive to your unique needs—even during pregnancy—Cal is the one.

Cal’s depth of knowledge coupled with his commitment to creating your workout, specifically and individually, make him a top tier teacher. I have been learning from him for almost fifteen years. I love the Pilates approach to fitness, Cal teaches so that you carry what you learn with you out of the studio and into your life. Priceless.

I’ve done sessions with Cal for about 12 years off and on. I’ve learned the importance of core strength, balance and posture through Cal’s classes. Private instruction allows him to stop and demonstrate, or adjust the client’s body angles to ensure correct form, and thus ensure target muscles are engaged.

Exercises without correct form are less helpful and can lead to injury (for example using your back all the time and having no stomach muscles).

Cal mixes in a little TRX & Bosu to make things interesting and challenge your ability.

Worth every penny.

I found Cal after sustaining a life changing back injury. I knew nothing about Pilates. I always thought Pilates was for kept women. My ignorance was only to my detriment. With his guidance I have been able to establish some normalcy to my life again when years of physical therapy didn’t really help. I saw friends I hadn’t seen in a few years over the Thanksgiving holiday who remarked that I haven’t looked so good in over a decade. Thanks Cal!!!

I highly recommend Cal's Fitness to everyone I know!! Finding this business has absolutely changed my life!! I was in a major car accident and had several surgeries, but training with Cal is the only reason I have gotten this far physically.
Prior to coming here, I had never heard of or done pilates, but amazing!!! Cal's ability to demonstrate and guide you through activities is priceless. I will add that having his one-on-one attention is worth more than anything since your life gets better and better after each session.
