About the Club

I've been a personal fitness trainer for over 20 years. I believe that consistency is the key to success, so my goal is to find a program that fits everyone's individual needs and lifestyle. I hold my clients accountable to their goals while also offering positive encouragement. It's my job to take the best aspects of the different realms of fitness like Strength Training, Pilates, TRX, Plyometrics, Nutrition, etc. and bring them to my clients in a focused routine.

Mike is a fantastic personal trainer. He has tons of experience, knows exactly how to pace the exercises, and is very attentive to his clients' needs. I've been training with Mike for a few months, and this is by far the best exercise routine I've had in many years.

Mike, owner of Cambio Fitness, is a skilled and friendly personal trainer. I am a 60+ woman who has always disliked exercise and has balance and coordination challenges. I've been working out with Mike for quite a few years now. It’s difficult for me to put into words how fortunate I feel to have found such a fantastic trainer (and overall life motivator) who is easy to talk to and so very knowledgeable at his craft. Not only is Mike an excellent trainer (who is always changing things up to keep it interesting and new), he is also great at helping me develop food/nutritional plans to help me achieve my goals. Hands down the best gym/trainer experience I've ever had.

I lost 60 pounds in my first year working with Mike of Cambio Fitness as my personal trainer. And I've maintained that ever since. The secret? Simple hard work, diet, exercise and following Mike's advise.
Frankly I've not been in a gym since the last mandatory high school gym class. Working one on one with Mike allowed me to build my confidence, strength and do things that I never thought possible, like ride the Seattle to Portland 204 mile bike classic. I highly recommend Mike and Cambio Fitness to enable you to work miracles in yourself. Mike always give the credit of success back to you.

I’ve been a client of Mike’s at Cambio Fitness for three years. I started from scratch—no sports or gym background and coming off the couch-potato days of the pandemic—yet I quickly knew I had found the gym experience that I’d been looking for and failing to find for basically my whole life. The gym is small but very clean, private, well-equipped, and it’s usually just you and your trainer. Mike is a great teacher and gently pushes your limits while being strict about form and safety. My increase in muscle, overall well-being, and confidence in the last few years is the real deal. Thanks to what I’ve learned at Cambio I’ve branched out to home dumbbell workouts and rec sports leagues, but I’d never give up my Cambio sessions. 11/10 recommend.

I LOVE Cambio Fitness, and Mike is an absolutely AMAZING trainer. I have always been intimidated by going to the gym and training at Cambio is has given me a new found confidence. Mike has not only gotten me into MUCH better shape and taught me correct form, but also explains what and why we do what we do. I had never worked with a personal trainer, or even lifted weights before meeting him, and now I feel like a boss. He is a very supportive, holistic trainer- and has even helped me with nutrition, without being too stuffy. He is also very flexible with weird schedules like mine, and has a true passion for helping people attain their goals. I would recommend Cambio to anyone.

I have been training with Mike since 2015. Prior to coming to him, I had never been active - quite sedentary in fact. He always meets you where you’re at and has helped personalize my work outs during all stages of my life. I’ve accomplished goals I never would have thought to achieve including running a marathon and multi-day backpacking trips. He is well versed in meal planning/nutrition and will help create a comprehensive life plan for the long term. He’s helped me work through multiple injuries and come back after foot surgery. I am so glad I made showing up at Cambio a priority and it has never failed me. I love that the gym is private giving you a very exclusive experience. Consistent with the name, Cambio has changed my life in the most positive way.

I've worked out consistently at Cambio Fitness for the last 3 years and it's been a fantastic experience. Mike and the other trainers at Cambio really put the "personal" in personal training. Very welcoming, caring & attentive to my specific goals and fitness level. The gym has everything you'd need and is in a great, convenient location (Fremont). I like that there aren't 10-15 other people working out around you there -- no distractions & extremely targeted to you and your individual fitness journey. I've worked with several other personal trainers, and Cambio is definitely the best I've experienced.

He listens to what’s going on with your own body and makes sure any position is done correctly and with the best impact. If you’re thinking about going or looking somewhere else for a trainer, don’t. Mike stepped in as my trainer when I needed him most and not only helped me maintain and gain strength, but was a trusty friend through the process so that I could share where I wanted to work on most and make progress. Trainers who actually care about you are a dying breed so best work with one while you still can!

I’ve been training with Mike for over a year now and it has been one of the best things I have ever done for my health. Having a chronic illness is a catch 22, you need to stay active to maintain your health, but it’s hard to stay active when you’re not feeling 100%. Mike is fun and does a great job of encouraging me to put in as much effort as I’m able each week. Plus his knowledge and array of equipment in an uncrowded space allows him to completely tailor my workout. Highly recommend making the investment in your health, this is a great place to do it.

After having a negative experience at another gym I was looking for someone who could train with me consistently during the week as well as help me get back into shape post lockdown. The first day I went over to Cambio we had a trial session and after, I knew his services were exactly what I was looking for.
