My friend and I went to our first Pilates class at Cascade Pilates and had a great time. We did the beginner pilates class with Monica, who was an excellent teacher and really encouraging. I loved the vibe and the small class size. I will definitely be going back for more classes and totally recommend it to anyone thinking about pilates.

Cascade Pilates is a treasure for our valley. Lainey instructs her classes with such a depth of knowledge of human physiology/anatomy as well as neuromotor elements that take the experience from a workout to a mind/body re-set. Classes are fun, engaging and always new and changing. As a physio in the valley for the past 14 years, it is such a joy to have such a studio that delivers such a high quality and fun avenue for the wellness space in our community.

Cascade Pilates is an absolute game-changer! I've tried countless workout programs in the past, but nothing has ever clicked quite like this. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for something special. The ambiance at Cascade Pilates is just so inviting and refreshing - it's a place where you can truly focus on your well-being.
But what truly sets Cascade Pilates apart are the incredible instructors, Lainey and Lynda. These two are not just instructors; they're motivators, guides, and friends all rolled into one. From day one, they took the time to understand my goals and past injuries. Their expertise is evident in every move they guide you through, ensuring you get the most out of every session while keeping it fun and engaging. They also don't give me too hard of a time when I'm complaining or grumbling. Lol.
I can't stress enough how much of a difference Lainey and Lynda have made in my fitness journey. Their encouragement and support have kept me coming back week after week (sometimes 4 times a week!), and for the first time in a long time, I actually look forward to my workouts!

Cascade Pilates has been so so amazing. I have gone to about 10 group classes by now and I look forward to them every time! Lainey will give you the best workouts and thoroughly talks you through every movement - she will help you workout hidden muscles you haven't felt before! I was so pleasantly surprised my first time and I continue to enjoy the variety and complexity of her classes. If you haven't tried out Cascade Pilates - you're missing out!!

I started doing pilates because I was looking for a low-impact workout to strengthen my core and improve my posture, but I got that and much more! I've had chronic shoulder pain/discomfort for years, and after doing pilates consistently for about three months, I've noticed my pain has decreased significantly! The workouts are attainable for all fitness levels, and Lainey and Lynda create a fun and welcoming environment. 10/10 would recommend Cascade Pilates! :)

I have always been into fitness, typically geared toward cardio and weights, HIIT, etc. but nothing was helping me focus as much as I needed to on my core. Then I discovered Lainey and Cascade Pilates. This has been a game changer for me, helping to strengthen my core when I had essentially given up on it after two children. Pilates has improved my posture, reduced back pain, and helped me improve in my other fitness routines, including my running, biking, and skiing. But- what I have loved most is the awesome sense of community Lainey has developed in her classes. I have never looked forward to a work out as much as I do my Pilates classes.

Cascade Pilates has been such a positive addition to my routine! I was brand new to pilates when I started, and now I’ve been going weekly for the last ~6 months and leave the studio feeling great every time. Lainey is so kind and attentive to each of her clients and tailors her instruction to offer modifications for injuries, thoughtful adjustments on form, or will add challenges to push you just a little harder. She’s creative with her movements which keeps classes interesting and fun. The environment is bright and welcoming, and she makes the reformer approachable to all levels. Can’t recommend this studio enough!!

I was brand new to Pilates when I discovered Cascade Pilates. From the first class Lainey the owner ensured I felt comfortable and that I was set up for success. She took the time to ensure my form was correct and provided modifications when needed. Working out post c section was daunting, but Pilates was everything I needed! I’ve noticed such a change in my core and posture in such a short period of time. Take the challenge and try Pilates and you’ll never look back!

I worked with Lainey intermittently for a year and a half (post baby) and had so much improvement to my low-back and hip instability that I started to go more consistently. I feel stronger every time and can apply the techniques learned at Pilates to my everyday movement and as I teach dance. I have little to no low-back now that I go to Pilates weekly.

Cascade Pilates is one of the best investments I’ve made for my body and has become a favorite weekly hobby! Lainey curates workouts to match your skills and also coaches you through challenges so your Pilates skillset will continue to grow. My flexibility, coordination and general strength had improved after just six months of consistent attendance. Also, Lainey is a great coach - she is so easy to talk to and genuinely connects with each of her clients. I’ve been going to Lainey since July 2021 and the difference in my body & strength is unreal. 10/10 definitely recommend Cascade Pilates!

I have loved working with Lainey since March 2020 (I cannot believe I have been working with her for almost TWO YEARS!!!) She has been an incredible teacher, making sure that my form is accurate, tailoring the moves to my needs, and I am SO THANKFUL to have a teacher like her! If I ever am having anything that's tight, or sore, she makes sure to address them during that session. My strength, along with my confidence, has improved, and I look forward to my class with her each week. I can't recommend her enough!

Lainey is an incredible person and master of her craft. I have been working with her for over a year now and have experienced significant improvement in my strength, endurance, and overall health.
I was initially extremely intimidated by Pilates but was persistently encouraged from a friend to try a class specifically with Lainey. At that time, I was struggling with neck and shoulder pain and was quite hesitant. I had been through two whole rounds of Physical Therapy with only minimal improvement which left me quite discouraged. I finally decided to make an appointment which was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
Lainey has completely changed my life and I am now obsessed with Pilates. Lainey creates personalized work outs that are fun but challenging. She is engaging and constantly assessing body movements with helpful cueing. I highly recommend Cascade Pilates.

Nancy and I have been seeing Lainey for awhile. Both of us have improved flexibility, strength and love the "after Pilates buzz"! Lainey is very patient with us as we learn new moves and is a pleasure to work with.

I am extremely thankful Lainey moved back to WA and opened up Cascade Pilates. Her knowledge of the body, patience and ability to correct posture/movements is extremely helpful, especially for someone who had never done a Pilates class before. I had the opportunity to work with Lainey for about a year. I remember feeling very intimidated looking at all the equipment. All that didn't matter because at the top of every session Lainey made sure to check in with the mental space of the individual. The simple question of, "how are you feeling?" turned into a cathartic release of anything you were open to talk about.
Lainey creates an environment where you are allowed to be yourself in your most vulnerable state and work through barriers. Lainey notices everything. Her attention to detail grounded my form with each new exercise. Her knowledge of my past experiences and strength allowed her to try advanced skills with me.
After each pilates session I felt stronger, leaner, and more flexible. If you have a background of dance, athletics or you have a history of injury I encourage you to try pilates. Moreover, if you want an instructor that treats you like family and will work through everything with you, I guarantee you will find no one better than Lainey. I loved taking Pilates with Lainey!! I worked with her in CA for almost a year before she relocated. She is patient, encouraging, and pushes you just enough to make you go further than you thought you could. She is a good listener and is great at making modifications for injuries or sore muscles. Beautiful studio to really feel better about yourself. The owner is a fantastic women who really cares about EVERY client and really customizes the workout to each person. I have been a client of hers for over a year and I really feel like a different person when I am able to go for regular sessions. I have had back pain and foot pain for years but since I have started regular pilates with Lainey the pain is virtually gone.
