Charging 30$ for first and last month totaling 60$ per person, is asking way too much for a small gym that only has limited workout equipment. The 15-dollar pass, just to use the gym for a day is a bad idea. Planet Fitness charges 15$ for member, despite getting the hate. I would think it be best if they up the days to a week for 15$ for non-members who just wanna walk in, no sign up, just to hit the gym, and not worry about paperwork. It sucks cuz cedar plaza is way closer to me…but the pricing isn’t worth it.

You will not find a genuinely community oriented fitness center within many miles of this gym. Lee and his team are more dedicated to their mission statement than any gym owners or employees that I have ever met. It is so rare to find a gym like this and it would be a mistake not to take advantage of the community and resources available here

The staff were friendly when joining, that's we decided to become members. The gym is low key- similar to a hotel gym but with a squat rack. Giving my name when signing in everyday was frustrating, and they spelled my name wrong and every time I went they couldn't find my accountant. It was annoying to not just beep a code or have a key chain barcode to sign in. The reason for the 1 star review is because I cancelled over a month ago because I wanted more equipment and joined another gym. I cancelled and have confirmation of the cancellation. But I am still being charged. They also refused to cancel my boyfriends via email or phone and told him he had to come in yet I got an email confirmation that they could cancel that way no problem.

Great experience at this friendly, low-key, community gym. No hassles. Lots of supportive people. Reasonable amount of equipment, with a couple well thought editions coming. Lee and Ashley do a great job. No pool or fancy gym room. Dollar a day - can’t beat that price. Great value & kind people.

We love the convenience of this great gym. It has everything we need for our different workout styles: treadmills, stationary bikes, plenty of open space for stretching and toning, free weights and machines. The owner and staff members have all been fantastic. The space seems clean and guests are all respectful. I would love to see something posted about how often the space and equipment are deep cleaned: after Covid I think a lot of people are more concerned about that.
Overall, this gym has a great atmosphere. Big bonus: the music is 'family friendly'. Also, I really like the way they give you a key for a locker to use, so there's no need to bring your own lock. They are still in the building phase I think, so I hope to see some more classes at some point. One possible downside for some folks: There aren't any showers, but we live close by so that's not a big deal for us. Come check this place out!

Fantastic squat racks, deadlift platforms with band attachments, a good selection of accessory exercise machines, great location and friendly staff/owner. 340 dollars Inc tax for a year's membership. Never having to wait to use equipment is a massive bonus. Excited to see what the owner adds in phase 2.

No worries about getting pressured to join. Not sure if the lady running the gym today was in a pleasant mood. Lots of potential but was hoping for more excitement and newer equipment. I’ll continue at Planet Fitness and my son will continue to at ECA on Ballinger. Not clear on what vibe they are going for yet still half empty and only 1 person doing paperwork or something. Maybe in another month?
