Had my very first class today with instructor Ellie. She kicked my butt, but wow was it well worth the sweat. I'll definitely be back for round two soon. Shoutout to Tess for the recommendation and for pointing me to the BOGO deal on their website for newbies!

Best cycle studio in Seattle! Me and my son always work out here together and it’s awesome because the works outs work for both of our different skill levels. You can go all out or take it at your own pace. The amenities are really nice in the bathrooms and the studio is always clean. They offer free towels which is great because other places charge for them. The instructors always make the experience very approachable which I appreciate!

Where do I even begin? City Cycle has completely revolutionized my relationship with fitness. Coming from someone who has always struggled with their body and confidence, City Cycle’s team and instructors have all been so welcoming, loving, relatable, and kind. After retiring from being a ballerina my whole childhood, I didn’t understand fitness, gyms, etc. It was all so intimidating and scary. After 5 years in Seattle, finding this community changed my life, and my relationship with fitness couldn’t be better. If you like music, concerts, raves, high energy, and/or community, I highly recommend the classes here. I cannot get nearly as good of a workout on my own in a quiet gym, if you like rhythm riding this is the place! Some of my favorite instructors I recommend for beginners and experts alike are James B., Ali Wall, Katie P., Alicia Rice, Mario, and Carena! However, I think I’ve had the pleasure to meet them all now and can recommend every member of the team! 🫶

When I first moved to Seattle, I lived in the apartments above City Cycle and decided to give the cycling studio downstairs a try. I’m so glad I did! That decision truly changed my life. Over the past 5 years, I’ve found community, friends, and a new passion for fitness.

The workouts are challenging, but tons of fun. Spin classes in general can be really intimidating for new riders, but City Cycle is so welcoming and riders can feel free to make the workout their own.

The choreography makes class a party and I love working through new combos on the bike. It’s a challenge for both the mind and body, and feels amazing when I hit the choreo just right.

Love, love, love City Cycle and the people there.

This place is THE place for a fun, challenging, and welcoming group workout class! From the front desk staff, to the fellow riders and the instructors, you won’t find a nicer crew. Lots of fitness studios tout that they are a community but I had never experienced that connection until I started riding at City Cycle. They walk the talk! I have City Cycle to thank for so many friends that I see beyond the studio. Whether or not you have hundreds of cycle rides under your belt or are brand new to indoor cycling, you are welcome here and will get a rewarding, heart-pumping workout! See you in class!

City Cycle is an absolute gem in the heart of North Seattle! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for an incredible fitness experience.

The instructors are not only knowledgeable and motivating but also create an energizing and supportive environment. Their passion for fitness is contagious, making every class an exciting journey. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced cycler the variety of classes caters to all fitness levels, keeping each session dynamic and engaging with "ride to the music" criteria.

The studio itself is immaculate and well-maintained, with top-notch equipment and amenities. The attention to detail in creating a comfortable and stylish space truly enhances the overall experience.

What sets City Cycle apart is the sense of community they've fostered. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and the camaraderie among fellow spin enthusiasts adds an extra layer of enjoyment to every class.

If you're looking for a fitness haven that combines effective workouts with a positive and inclusive atmosphere, City Cycle Spin Studio is the place to be. Kudos to the entire team for consistently delivering a five-star experience! I can't recommend it enough.

This is a special place! The music, the instructors, the studio maintenance (think pristinely clean) , all stellar!!! The workouts are efficient and fun! First thing I do after leaving class with a big grin on my face is put one of their complimentary, chilled lavender towels on the back of my neck (what a nice touch!). The instructors are always prepared, engaged and genuine. I seriously love coming here. I do other workouts as well, and after just about 15 classes at City Cycle I've noticed significant changes in my endurance and strength. I'm running faster, and holding my lifts in barre class for longer. Thanks City Cycle <3 Special shoutout to Anissa and Alicia they are both killer instructors and just overall badasses.

City Cycle is the real deal! Music driven, high energy, party lights, all the amenities, what more could you want out of a studio? My favorite part is that there are no screens to monitor your “progress” but instead the instructors give suggestions on resistance and challenge you through the tempos of the music. It’s not a competitive environments but rather one of lifting up your neighbor through your energy. The staff is so helpful and friendly, and they ensure you feel supported and uplifted from the minute you walk in the door! The community is truly incredible, and I can’t recommend this space enough. I’ve been coming here for 5+ years now, and am forever grateful to my friend for encouraging me to try my first class, as I haven’t looked back since :)

As a member of the City Cycle community the past 5 years, I can truly say there is no place like it in Seattle. Fitness can be intimidating, and the environment is crucial to an individuals success - and CC has mastered this. Everyone is welcoming, no matter your experience in fitness or indoor cycling.

Additionally - it's local and female owned. The owner Lauren is an amazing community leader, and even instructor herself.

I've worked in the fitness industry for over 10 years, and tried MANY cycling studios through the years. I had been fairly certain cycling wasn't for me after trying so many studios where I was constantly asked to reach certain numbers on a little monitor on my bike, which just took out all the fun and presence of exercise for me. I got roped into going to a City Cycle class a little over a year ago, and it was a game changer. Classes are music/beat-driven, not overwhelming for new riders, and just straight up FUN. From the front desk to the teaching crew, everyone is just pure good energy. I've been in love since my first ride, and I feel welcome, comfortable, and part of a community every time I visit. Clients are rad, staff is a whole vibe in all the best ways, and it's SUCH A GOOD TIME. I'd rave about City Cycle to anyone who asked. Shoutout to Chris Blackburn, whose Saturday morning 60-minute rides were like my church, and brightened some very tough months for me.

I just moved to Seattle 2 months ago and was so sad to leave my local spin studio. I knew I’d be on the hunt for a replacement in Seattle and tried a bunch of cycling classes in the city, but knew once I took my first class at CC that this would be my home studio. The energy in every class is so encouraging, the classes are never competitive, and the music always hits. I love to rhythm ride and was so glad I found this studio!

This is the place to be!! You can expect your experience to be well rounded with the best staff, high end amenities (showers, hair dryers, curling irons, straighteners, mouth wash, hair products, dirty clothes bags… they’ve thought of it all), and a supportive and friendly community. As a newbie to Seattle, I feel so lucky to have found City Cycle and call it my new spin home!! The class is challenging but approachable for all levels as instructors do a great job of providing modifications. Trust me when I say it’s the best workout and most fun you can have in 45 minutes!!

City Cycle has been like my second home since I moved back to Seattle in late 2017 and took my first class with Chris Blackburn. It would take me five years before I was even willing to consider trying out another studio in the city, since I was so hooked on City Cycle from day one. Indoor cycling studios can be intimidating spaces when you're new to spin or group workout classes, but City Cycle isn't that way at all. It is inclusive and welcoming and the community is absolutely incredible and unlike any other fitness studio I've ever been to. The instructors are fantastic, the classes are engaging, motivating, and challenging, and I think City Cycle represents what spin studios SHOULD be: fun, challenging, inclusive, a judgment-free zone, and 100% a party on a bike. I'm so glad they are still around while so many spin studios closed their doors in the pandemic.

This studio offers a challenging and fun experience regardless of who is instructing. When people ask me what it’s like to go to one of these classes I tell them it’s like going to the club, without the hangover! The instructors push you, but give variations to the choreography, so it matches your overall skill and energy level for the day. There are no numbers or scoreboards, we ride to the beat… some days my beat is half time. On top of all this, the music is always fire; the instructors are basically DJs in my opinion!

This gym isn't following covid-19 safety protocol-- masks are required to be worn during any indoor activities. Refusing to follow these guidelines is going to result in spikes of cases, hospitalizations, and deaths, especially as the more communicable variants arrive in King County. Careless and selfish.

They are kind of rude to their neighbors. Who plays music that loud at 7am? It may not be illegal, but it is extremely inconsiderate. When I can feel the bass through multiple walls, more than 4, that is too loud!

I have called to complain and ask them to be more considerate and was told that they have a product to sell. Is it hearing aids? Because I'm pretty sure you're deafening your customers.

I have also been told that the owners understand that there is a noise problem, and that it is specific trainers that are the problem. It seems like it is worse on Thursday's. Maybe tell that trainer to knock it off until after 9am?

I will remove this 1star review once you have responded to it letting me know that something has been done. Thank you!

City Cycle is by far my favorite cycling studio that I have been to. Other studios that I have been to pressure you to hit certain numbers or stats and make you feel like you are competing against everyone else in the room. At City Cycle, there are no computers or numbers, you just ride to the beat of the music with everyone in the class. It gives you a sense of community instead of competition.

The music at this studio is AMAZING.. The instructors do a great job of choosing music that is motivating and fun to listen to. It makes it feel like a dance party instead of a workout. There is also a huge variety of music. I cycle 3-5 times a week and rarely hear the same song twice.

The space is clean and well decorated. It isn't a huge studio but there is plenty of room in the lobby for a full class to change shoes and towel off after class. The bathrooms are clean and have lots of amenities in them (showers, blow dryers, curling irons etc.)

I love coming to City Cycle, I've taken classes from most of the instructors and although they each have their own style, they are all great! I will definitely continue to come here.

I absolutely love City Cycle and it has become my latest obsession. Having not worked out in a year or done cardio since college, I was a little intimidated not knowing what to expect but boy did it not disappoint! City Cycle is the perfect community with THE best instructors, environment, energy and prices! As we all know, classes in Seattle can be quite expensive but after doing research, City Cycle had the best rates ($200/month for unlimited). Lauren is the owner, she is incredibly warm and personable! She genuinely cares about each of her riders and as well as providing the best experience. What's not to love?

Classes are typically 45min. and fly by (I'm not kidding) with their infectious energy where you can zone out and push yourself at your own pace. They even include an arm workout which I love! The room consists of 35 bikes with no screens so it isn't a competition. It's not too small if you're shy or too crowded if you get easily overwhelmed. The music is great and will make you wish you could Shazam during class! Then it sounds cliche but you really cannot go wrong with any instructor, they're all AWESOME. City Cycle makes working out FUN, therapeutic and rejuvenating! It's honestly my favorite part of the day and I would HIGHLY recommend any and everyone to become a member.
