Club Pilates Bainbridge is wonderful. The space, the instructors and management could not be more helpful and easy going, so many classes to choose from. Thrilled that they are here on the island. Scheduled a private party for a bunch of ladies from out of town, everyone had a blast even the newbies!

I have been looking forward to having access to a reformer pilates studio for the past year. I paid early as a founding member, and I am glad I did. While they are a new business and working out the kinks is typical, I have always appreciated the staff with their kindness and patience. The studio is lucky to have empowering and educated instructors like Marissa and Jennifer. I have already referred 3 people to this location and they have all attended the free intro and then purchased memberships. It is a little pricey, but really good location and a great workout.

New to Pilates and this has been a great, welcoming experience. The classes are hard, but as hard as you want them to be. So far I’ve always been able to find a class that has openings when I need. They are adding new classes and types of classes all the time. Cardio sculpt with Marissa is actually fun!

The classes are challenging, but there are levels to work through so you can start at any level. The instructors are absolutely fantastic! They have many classes each day also so I can always find a time. It’s much less than other Pilates reformer classes I’ve done. Super happy with my membership so far.

This is a great studio with very high-quality equipment and teachers. The instructors take time to make adjustments and corrections when students are in more advanced classes. So glad they’re here on Bainbridge. I’ve been a fan of Club Pilates for many years! One thing to consider Pilates is all about form if you take classes that are too advanced for your level you will not have a great experience so take the time to work up to the correct skill level for the correct class and make sure you communicate with the teacher if you’re new.

Absolutely fantastic! Great workout and the instructors are amazing. I’m a 50+ woman that is recovering from years of surgeries and I find it much more effective than working out in the gym. After a few months, I have definitely noticed a change in my body - getting stronger and more confident. The instructors are always there to help you adjust the movement of you need it. I can’t recommend them highly enough. My husband and I go together as often as we can.

Pilates is such a fun and effective work out. All the staff are super friendly and very helpful. I had never taken a Pilates class on a reformer before and it’s so much fun, they have intro classes to learn the basics. You can always ask any questions if you’re confused on a different move/workout. They have early morning as well as late evening classes which I really appreciate.

As a 58 year old with a chronic back issue due to an old CrossFit injury, I have been wanting to find another avenue of exercise that is both strengthening and conditioning. (One that minimizes further injury while helping to build my core strength.) I am so excited to be a student of Club Pilates Bainbridge and I feel incredibly grateful that every staff member/instructor I have encountered, has been both welcoming and encouraging. The classes are always upbeat and engaging and each instructor is unique, yet provides the guidance needed to learn and grow . In addition, emphasis is always on form and safety. 10/10 stars for Club Pilates Bainbridge Island!

As a 71-year-old with a busy career, I have found Club Pilates Bainbridge Island to be my home away from home. The studio is brand new and absolutely beautiful! The front desk team is always so welcoming, and I truly enjoy the classes. Knowing that all of the instructors are certified gives me confidence and peace of mind on my pilates journey. I love the variety of class formats and how easy it is to reserve my spot. I am so grateful to have found Club Pilates Bainbridge Island!

I’m writing this review as a cautionary tale to anyone who may be considering signing a contract with club Pilates on Bainbridge Island.

After a difficult recovery from major abdominal surgery in Dec of 24’ I decided to join Club Pilates to help get my “core” back. I joined early on to lock in the founding membership pricing for 8 classes/month. Big mistake…

They charged me $143 for my first monthly payment, but the studio didn’t even open for 5 months after that, so I never got to even take a class to know what I was getting myself into. Finally when they opened in June, I was charged another $143, and I took a class and it was, in my opinion, not up to snuff. The instructor gave contradicting and confusing instructions, and didn’t cue in a way that was easy to follow. The other students and I looked at each other confused on several occasions over what springs the instructor meant and how to position the props. There was no music and I left feeling like I never actually got a work-out.

After taking countless Pilates classes over the last 15 years, it was very clear to me that this place doesn’t really have it together. Something is just off. I decided to join another studio that was more established and contacted club Pilates to have my membership canceled.

After much back and forth, I finally had a conversation with the owner and was told that there was a $100 fee for canceling. I asked for it to be waived but the owner said it was not up to him but the lawyers who represent club Pilates. At this point they were going to charge me $386 total and I had only taken ONE CLASS! The irony is they let prospective students take their first intro class for free.

The owner, who was entirely impersonal, did refund me for the second monthly payment but did go ahead and charge me the $100 cancellation fee.

In conclusion, I deeply regret ever getting involved with this franchise. I’m disappointed that they would treat me, a founding member who helped them to open the studio, in this way.

Yep, I took a risk signing up for a membership for a studio I couldn’t know anything about, and yep, I signed a contract. But just be warned, they will not just be cool and “let you go.”
