I had a membership for about 3 months, but the way they handle booking made it near impossible for me get into classes that worked for my schedule. What was even more annoying was when I finally was able to book a 6am class it would be half empty…. They’d be better off opening the calendar 30 days in advance vs waiting for your next cycle to start to get things booked. I think I was able to use about 70% of the classes I paid for.
The teachers I didn’t find welcoming at all. I don’t think a single one asked my name or offered any tips. Others did receive this so my guess is if you go long enough then it will feel inclusive.
Arikas classes were great, super challenging.

I've tried many different types of work outs that just wouldn't stick. And then...I met Club Pilates in West Seattle. After reading about Club Pilates on Reddit, it became clear to me that people's experiences are all dependent on the owner and instructors. I think the West Seattle studio got pretty dang lucky with such a great owner (Tina) and pretty amazing instructors! They're all so different in their styles and paces which keeps things interesting and fun. I've attended classes with Tina, Priscilla, Allison, Lisa, Kayli, and Kris, and they're all fantastic with providing clear instructions and respectful hands-on adjustments. Lauren is also a wonderful human being to encounter at the front desk, and she immediately brings warmth to the studio.
I also like the variety in classes: You could choose to do a regular reformer flow, build up a sweat with cardio sculpt, or slow it down for a center and balance class. I've definitely felt my posture and strength change in just 30 classes. No more back pain with dish washing! It's also a great way to destress and calm the mind.
I'm so grateful to have this studio in my neighborhood!

Been a member here since opening day, and can't recommend highly enough! I've never stuck with any exercise program or gym routine until now - almost 2 years in and almost 300 classes completed I'm in the best shape of my life at 43. It's true functional fitness, as my Pilates practice has increased my ability and stamina in all my other physical pursuits like backpacking, skiing, and paddleboarding. If you're on the fence about joining - get off and onto the reformer!

This place is an oasis. Whatever chaos is happening or a grumpy day, it doesn't matter as soon as I enter WS Club Pilates and the door closes. The instructors and front desk team, the whole studio, is welcoming and warm. I feel in sync with an authentic community that has the gift to lift me up whenever I come in. I leave stronger, both mentally and physically, each time I show up. It's fun, challenging and healing. Thank you, Tina and CP Instructors for making our West Seattle studio so special!

I would never in my life recommend club Pilates to anyone. I had a horrible experience at this location specifically. This location was very nice and clean however the manager was relentless. I signed up for a 3x Membership 2: 8 classes a month. I attempted to call to cancel my membership after multiple failed attempts to sign up for classes through the app. I expressed my frustrations to Tina and requested to cancel my membership.
Tina sent me a copy of my contract and said if I wanted to cancel I would need to pay the additional cancelation fee. The membership with 8 classes a month cost a little over $200. I was unable to attend of my classes; Tina was unwilling to offer any solutions, as the manager; and unwilling to cancel my membership unless I paid the additional fees on top what was already paid.

Club Pilates West Seattle is amazing! I’ve tried a lot of fitness studios, and this one truly stands out. The instructors are so knowledgeable and encouraging! The space is clean and welcoming, and the classes are challenging in the best way possible.
I’ve felt stronger, more aligned, and more confident since starting here. The sense of community is real too. Everyone is friendly and supportive, which makes it so easy to stay motivated. If you’re looking for a fun, effective, and positive place to build strength and flexibility, Club Pilates West Seattle is the spot. Highly recommend!

Such a great and welcoming place. Staff is super friendly and has definitely worked on building a community. Classes are great for all levels. I took classes all through my pregnancy and instructors made sure I was always accommodated and did exercises that were safe for me. Now postpartum working on getting some strength back. I’m hooked! I started my membership in February and have felt progressively stronger and more confident in my abilities every single week. I recommend taking classes from every instructor to find the teaching styles and class formats that feel best to you. I plan to be a member for life!

I really appreciate this studio and all the lovely humans that work here. My schedule shifts a lot, and thankfully there are lots of class options to choose from. I’ve really enjoyed taking classes with Priscilla, Kayli, Suzanna, Tina, Lisa, Thea, and Jazel! Every instructor has their own awesome vibe and great way of motivating their classes. No two classes are ever the same. I’ve never been able to stick to a fitness routine before, but at this studio I have already hit my 100 class goal! The studio has a really warm vibe, and I always feel welcomed by Lauren and the instructors. Scheduling can be tricky due to popularity, but moving to the unlimited plan and scheduling classes in advance helped a ton with that.

Not only is Club Pilates an incredible workout, but this studio is an amazing community to be a part of. From the front desk workers to the instructors to the owner, everyone is welcoming and empowering. In the five months I've been a member, I've noticed a huge difference in my body, core strength, and mental health. Having a consistent place to unplug and practice mindfulness and connection for an hour has been a game changer!

First of all, let me start with this. I’m fifty pounds down postpartum. I was an athlete before pregnancy. I’ve cheered, I’ve done gymnastics, I’ve done aerial, and I really feel like I found my home in Pilates. It is consistently difficult regardless of the level you take.
There are superstar teachers. Arika, Tina, and Suzanne will have you limping and also six-packing. Arika is a Pilates teacher at the studio, and she gives me that militant, cheerleading-style coaching that I loved when I was a cheerleader in high school. She’s one of the best coaches I’ve ever experienced, and like I said, fifty pounds down—she definitely gets the results. Even the new generation of teachers coming into the studio, like Kaylee and Thea, will leave you very sore.
The women who come to the studio are typically extremely approachable and nice. There are a few that don’t fall into that, but that’s expected everywhere.
This studio also offers privates, and if you are really interested in being sore for 43 weeks straight, I suggest you do that. I would highly recommend Pilates for postpartum mothers and for people who feel like they need a community in order to see results.
Most importantly, for the price point, most gyms at this level don’t take their community’s feedback into consideration. But Tina, the owner, does. I’ve been a squeaky wheel about certain things, and she always either resolves it or offers a solution. Although it’s not always exactly what I would like or expect, the fact that she takes the time to listen to my feedback and process it really shows how dedicated she is to making every single person in her studio feel comfortable, challenged, and valued.
I am a California native, and I was struggling to find community as a postpartum mother of two. I’ve found, legit, my best friend in Seattle at Club Pilates. Because of this studio, I’ve made friends with someone I truly love. I’m grateful for this studio—for the weight loss and for the community. I come at 6 a.m., I come at noon, I come at 2. I love this studio.

I have been coming here for a little over a year now and have taken 200 classes. Everyone here is so friendly, especially Priscilla and Lauren. Club Pilates West Seattle has become my favorite place to spend time after work. I love the amount of variety this studio offers, and appreciate the level of expertise the entire staff brings. I plan on staying a member here for quite some time.

I’m a complete beginner at Pilates, but I’ve always been interested in trying this modality. I have chronic pain and other physical limitations that I’ve heard Pilates can possibly help improve. I took the plunge and tried my first class back in June, and 4 months later I can definitely say I made the right choice. The admin staff and coaches are incredible! I have never had any issue getting modifications or having certain movements explained to me one-on-one. I actually look forward to my weekly workouts and highly encourage giving this studio a try!

Clean space with all the pilates equipment you could need. Staff are professional and helpful along the way. There are lots of classes to take, but they do fill up during peak times, especially outside 9-5 office hours. The cardio class is awesome and fun!

I was a beginner in my third session of Arika’s Level One class when she made an incorrect judgment about my abilities, berated me in front of others, called me stupid, and kicked me out of the studio. My intro class and first two sessions with other instructors went great, but Arika turned what should have been a simple discussion about small modifications into an unnecessary 7:30 a.m. attack. I’ve practiced yoga, floor Pilates, and Orangetheory, and have never experienced anything like this. If you’re new to Pilates and looking for an inspiring supportive environment, avoid Arika’s class.
The manager Tina called me to work out the incident and was nice and apologetic but I still cancelled my membership.
Kris’s class was wonderful, but after this experience, I absolutely won’t be returning. *Edited for clarity*

As much as I want to gate-keep this incredible spot, I equally want to billboard-level brag on how amazing of a community there is here.
Pilates started as physical therapy for me, moons ago, but now it’s a standing practice a few times a week.
It doesn’t break the bank to be an unlimited member here, which is another reason to love this place. The math, maths. Especially when historically elsewhere pilates practice is expensive. I can drop into any open class everyday of the month with my unlimited membership and it costs me less than what my mokachoka latte costs down the street! (Needless to say, I opt-out of the latte now and redirect my way to West Seattle Club Pilates!)
The vibe is welcoming, nurturing and fun. The owner is kind and generous. She’s also a Master Trainer (not very common, actually). Each instructor has their own style of teaching, rigorous in their practice and top notch. Short version: all are amazing. Each day is different, as is each class.
I love to mix up the levels of class I attend as well as they offer so many different types of class. Since joining West Seattle Club Pilates last year, I’ve seen muscles appear I fr didn’t know I had. I’m stronger, have better balance and simply covet the connections I’ve made with other members and people who come in for the free Intro classes that I meet.
Whether a Center + Balance class with Arika or Lisa, Flow or CardioSculpt class with Tina, Suzanna, Kayli, Michelle, Thea or Allison (or any other talented instructor there) I have fun, challenge myself and gift 50min to recenter and reset.
TL;DR: Absolutely solid 100/10, exceptional instruction, clean and beautiful studio, ample local parking, kind and talented staff, beautiful community.
Oh, and almost forgot to mention, the studio has 12 reformer stations. A lot of pilates studios have way less than that. Regardless of class size, I know the instructors are all well trained and experienced, they will help you better your practice and correct your form, always ensuring you’re safe in your practice. I truly can’t say enough great things about this beautiful space Tina has built for us. I’m so grateful 🙏🏽 to be a part of it.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while. Firstly, thank you to everyone at West Seattle club Pilates you have created a community in West Seattle. Going to Pilates at least three times a week as an unlimited. Member is a very important part of my routine and health. I’ve been going for about a year coming up this fall and have come to depend on the West Seattle club Pilates studio including Tina, Lauren at the front desk and my favorite instructor Priscilla . I go in there and see so many regular people , have someone to say hello to and chat with , do class together with —. there’s a lot of community and support and a lot of expertise 😃For me, The classes go by so quickly and it’s a respite and oasis three times a week to enter into that space , focus, do Pilates with Priscilla who has more than 40 years experience teaching. It’s a treasure thanks again everyone at club Pilates, West Seattle.

Best Pilates classes and teachers in town! Tina, the boss, is a badass woman, very professional and smart. I don’t know all the teachers, but my faves are Suzanna, Lisa, Thea and Allison. Can’t wait to test Kailey’s class. Her and Lauren manage the reception and are fun and welcoming. The equipment is well maintained, the teachers are attentive and help students. I’m shy, yet feel very comfortable to ask questions. My muscles are showing which makes me so happy. Sign up today, you won’t regret it. The unlimited classes package is the way to go IMO. ❤️

Best pilates in West Seattle! They just celebrated their 1 year anniversary. Very clean facility. I love the vibes with the dim lighting here. Every class is different and keeps you on your toes. Important to try to book out in advance because certain classes do fill up fast, but the waitlist moves quickly too. Every instructor is great but my favorites here are Suzanna, Tina, and Arika! Highly recommend Club Pilates West Seattle!

Michelle/Tina/Kali made my visit great! They took their time and addressed a ton of health/mobility concerns/questions that other pilates studios have not.
I feel confident that I can workout without gaining a new injury/flare to my chronic illness.

Pilates is a fitness modality I’ve wanted to try for a long time. Club Pilates has made me fall in love with this exercise! I feel so good every time I go, and my strength and stamina have been increasing the last two months just like Tina stated at the intro class. Each time you walk in, you are cheerfully greeted by Lauren who is always fun and compassionate - absolutely a delight each visit. Each instructor gets to know you and takes care to know how to support you in with physical limitations or challenges. They never push you to do anything which makes you feel uncomfortable. Each has their own style and I love that no two classes (even with the same instructor) are just alike. I see Kia and Allison most often and I love both of their styles, encouragement, and personalities. Club Pilates West Seattle is truly the best fitness decision I’ve made in all my years. The clientele is always excited for class and friendly with one another. I absolutely love this place! Thank you for proving my health and well-being, Club Pilate West Seattle!

I joined West Seattle, Club Pilates, as soon as they opened. I had never done Pilates, but had been encouraged by several friends to give it a try. I have not exercised beyond walking in so many years that I was a little bit anxious, and certainly uncertain of what I would be able to accomplish.
The staff at Club Pilates is welcoming, supportive, and encouraging. The women who greet you when you walk in are all lovely, friendly, and knowledgeable about Pilates and their studio. The owner, Tina, has gathered the best instructors, and created an environment, where it feels safe to try, to learn, and to grow in this activity. My body feels better than it has in years. The movements and the resistance are gentle enough that a beginner can do them, without feeling awkward and uncomfortable, and it allows you to modify the experience as you grow and learn to make it more challenging.
All of the members of the community, from Tina and her incredible front staff and instructors, and the other people you share the classes with, are encouraging and fun. I am so grateful for this newfound passion, and all of the health benefits that I am already seeing, after only two months. I have vastly less body pain, and much more energy and stamina for the other things I need to do in my life. This has been truly life-changing for me, and I encourage anyone who is curious or who needs to get themselves back into exercise to give it a try. you will not regret it. It’s awesome! Come join us at West Seattle, Club Pilates.
