Vaishali is an exceptional swim coach! She truly understands my childβs personality, learning pace, and comfort level in the water. What stands out most is the personal connection she buildsβmy child feels seen, supported, and excited to learn every session. Her patience, encouragement, and positive energy make all the difference. We are so grateful for her dedication and the confidence she has helped build. Highly recommend!
Columbia Athletic Club is also a fantastic facility with a warm, welcoming environment for kids.

We have been a part of CAC for a very long time. It feels like we're a part of a family. The staff is excellent and the options of classes fit our schedule. And we love working with Nikki as our personal trainer.

The Columbia Athletic Club is an excellent choice for families, offering a wide range of programs for both adults and youth. My two daughters participate in swim lessons with Diana, who is exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, caring, and enjoyable. I highly recommend her for anyone interested in ensuring their child learns to enjoy the water safely. Additionally, my children adore Coach Brandon for basketball. He is another outstanding instructor, known for his kindness, skill, and patience with children of all ages. The gym is impeccably clean and exudes an inviting atmosphere.

My 4-year-old absolutely loves swimming lessons with Diana. She is patient, kind, and makes the class fun while still focusing on safety and technique. My child has grown so much in confidence around water.
My child looks forward to every class and has made great progress in just few classes with Diana.
Highly recommend!

Good , clean facilities. Courteous staff and talented coaches. Coach Veronika taught private swim lessons to my son. She was highly focused on helping him learn various strokes, he was able to graduate to the next level and is continuing to get strong under her guidance. He is looking forward to the next school season with Coach Veronika.

We've had a fantastic experience at the Columbia Athletic Club at Pine Lake, especially with the swim coaching staff - coaches Jill, Anagha, Diane and others. We want to give a special shout-out to Miss Anagha, who has been absolutely incredible with our son in the Parent-Tot swim class.
When we started 10 months ago, our 3-year-old was very hesitant in the water β he didnβt even want to get his face wet and clung to us constantly. Miss Anagha met him where he was, with patience, warmth, and positive energy. She created a safe, playful environment that made him feel at ease. Week after week, she encouraged him with just the right balance of structure and fun.
Now, 10 months later β heβs not just comfortable in the water, he is confident and nearly independent! He kicks, floats, splashes and jumps into the pool with joy. What once felt like a big hurdle has become his favorite part of the week. The coaches here have truly helped transform our sonβs relationship with water, and weβre so grateful for her thoughtful approach and consistent encouragement.
We highly recommend the Columbia Athletic Club for any parent looking to introduce their child to swimming in a positive, supportive way. Their staff is phenomenal! It's been a wonderful journey!

My 5 years old is taking swim lessons from there. I have tried swim lessons for her at 3 different places. Instructors at those places changed very often, also they didnβt have enough experience to teach younger one. Instructor to kids ratio is 1/5 or 1/4 minimum. My kiddo didnβt learn anything. But Columbia athletic club has the most experienced instructors ever, the instructors to kids ratio is 1/2. They have same instructors for each session. My daughter learned a lot. She is moving from level 1 to level 2 only after 8 lessons. Highly recommended.

Swim team coach Bella saved my life. Iβve never had such a sensational swimming experience before.
Prior to our lesson together I had purchased a Mc Chicken Aioli Crispy which is a culinary masterpiece but also a threat to my physical disposition. Bella held my hand, reassured me, and consoled me as a I navigated the challenging journey of releasing the monster within my bowels.
Great service here. Will be visiting Bella again next time after McDonalds.

It is so disappointed on the children swimming lessons. Their instructors wonβt teach children how to swim and help improve their skills. They even wonβt jump in the pool and demonstrate

This is not just a club, this is a family like place where I could exercise, have fun and hangout. The tennis coaches here are extremely nice( although first time they may seem scaryπ) the facility of the court is also clean and pretty. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to play tennis or swim!

Absolutely love this gym - after leaving LA Fitness in Seattle, was looking for a gym close to home with well maintained equipment and good class schedules. This gym fits the bill! Itβs a bit spendy, but in line with what we would expect for a quasi-boutique gym where you donβt have to wait on equipment. All morning class instructors are awesome! Have enjoyed the spin, strength, and body pump numerous times!

Try to avoid! Very insensitive, unsympathetic and inconsistent business management. Very poor preventive measure for public diseases as well.
My kid got COVID the first day attending their summer camp program. Requested for a refund but was declined. Their website clearly states that "... camp fee is not refundable if the notice is provided within 1 week, while there is an exception for illness and emergencies." but they are not honoring their own T&C written. Disappointed, and will never doing business with them again.

This review based on my experienced with their public swimming classes. All good swimming teachers were booked for private lessons for months in advance. So they filled their public swimming classes' teachers with inexperience, under training, or high school students. Most of the time of my kids swimming classes, their teachers either talked or plays with their students, very little practice time. No progress for kids for months. The management team doesn't care their classes quality. So don't waste your time, and money in their public swimming class.

The pool is small and crowded. Too many kids in one swimming class. 4 kids per lane (they allow up to 6) and they constantly bump in each other. Kid complains about chlorine and crowd. It seems like they do not teach much either.

I come here just to swim.
It's the only place nearby that I don't have to fight for lane time. The saltwater pool is a huge plus, and it's very clean.

Worst customer service Iβve ever experienced
This front desk clerk named Brady has been so disrespectful. I never see him smiling or saying hello to me and my kids, he was acting totally ignorant (paying no attention ever) and I even felt like he was looking down on me.
I have no idea why he was being so ignorant and hurting his customerβs feelings everytime!
I will seriously consider not going back to Columbia Athletic Club in Sammamish for my childβs swimming class.

Swim classes are too expensive for too short a lesson for non-members and not great instructors. Only advantage is that they have good indoor pool and they know that so they are taking advantage of their customers. They do not have any make up policy and they don't even allow pro-rating. Sick or out for vacation, if you can't attend a class, you will still have to pay in full even if you know in advance that you can't attend a particular day session. Seriously? All kids classes allow make ups.

I really like this gym. It's always clean, the workers there are really friendly. It could get a bit crowded at peak times, but which gym isn't? Now, if only somehow they could make me get my butt there more regularly, then it'd be perfect. It's a great gym, all in all.

It's not crowded most of the time. Very expensive but that keeps the crowds down. Some broken equipment that they haven't fixed in months. With the monthly price you pay you think they would jump on fixing the broken stuff.

This gym is clean and functional with the amenities one would expect from a mid-range facility: locker rooms, a swimming pool, classes, yoga, a basketball court, etc. Most classes are included in the monthly price. This is a perfectly functional gym but I feel the monthly fee of $120 is unjustified. Excluding tennis, an add-on that nearly doubles the price, the facility charges three times as much as 24 Hour Fitness but does not offer much more at half the size. For $120 a month I would expect at least some high-end amenities such as rock climbing, racquetball, a saltwater swimming pool, waterslides for the kids, a full-size cafe, etc.
