I wish I could give this place more stars! It is welcoming to a diverse range of bodies and experiences. Teachers have been consistently excellent and Julia is great. My go-to for moving my body and calming my mind.

This is such a sweet space. I took Amelia’s class tonight, and the class was thoughtful, gentle and challenging, spacious and grounded and the perfect way to end my day. I look forward to more classes at this Columbia City gem.

This is a 10/10 studio and community resource. I have only had positive experiences with the owner and every instructor. There is a wide range of instructors/styles/practices here! You will find someone that suits you, I myself really loved Amelia's classes in particular. Beautiful space and fair pricing that makes classes accessible for most. Thank you, Columbia City Yoga!

Love this studio!!!! The pre and post-natal classes are the best and I’m so grateful for that community over the 7 months.

Hello Columbia City Yoga,
I want to express my appreciation and gratitude for your Virtual Gentle Yoga classes with Julie Fournier on Mondays and Wednesdays. I have multiple health challenges and most yoga classes, even gentle yoga classes, are too much for me. And attending a class in person is something I could do only occasionally. Finally, I have found a class that I can do regularly with a few modifications, that is available remotely and on my own schedule, that makes my body and mind feel better rather than worse. This is huge! I rarely view the class in real time, more often viewing the recording, but I'm doing it once or twice a week and have significantly more ease, more peace, and less pain. Thank you so much to Julie and to your whole organization for making this available.

This is by far one of my favorite yoga studios! I love the energy, really good vibes, the teachers are fantastic, and it’s located in a really fun neighborhood with great coffee, shopping, and food. The studio is clean, calming, and perfectly curated. So many great gifts and cool clothes to buy. I love, love, love this place!

Columbia City is lucky to have such a beautiful and welcoming yoga studio. Stopped in while passing through for some healing movement and mindfulness. Wei-Ming provided a challenging yet restorative practice while Julia the owner was helping answer any questions and kindly welcome students. Wish I lived closer!

Poor air quality. Smells like feet. There was absolutely no air circulation. Mats had scuff marks of peoples feet skin on them. Two times the instructor guided us through yoga practices and forgot to do the other side.

Who stretches the left leg and not the right?

Dude talks alot.
Dudes vocabulary sucked.
I would recommend a yoga book written by professionals. With proper preliminaries.
And proper breathing techniques.
The city air was quite refreshing after leaving that studio.

I love Julia’s classes the most, but all instructors are very knowledgeable and have a good pace for the type of yoga they teach. The studio is very welcoming and cool. My fav class is vigorous vinyasa, you get a great workout and also relax at the same time. Both Julia and Azru lead that class, and both are awesome!

Welcoming yoga community!
The studio is beautiful, clean and well stocked.
The teachers are kind, patient and encouraging, often providing multiple variations to each pose for you to pick from depending on what serves you best!

My home for Mindfulness meditation on Tues, Thurs. and Sunday mornings, either in person or virtually (Sundays are exclusively virtual.) Wonderful variety of teachers. Appropriate for beginners and advanced practitioners; everyone is welcomed. A beautiful light-filled clean space that always smells heavenly. The owner, Julia Briggs, is an excellent instructor as well as being community- minded and supportive of local businesses and non-profits. There are many different classes and events. Come join us. (Yes, I love this place!)

Such a nice space. The classes are so unique and it feels like the yoga I experience when I go to India - non performative

Excellent yoga space, perfect temperature, wonderful staff. But there are stairs at entrance. Have been to several studios and I like this one best.
