For a 7:30 class, if you arrive at 7:30 they don’t let you attend the class saying ‘it could be dangerous for you’. 😂

I’ve been attending the free community classes held every Sunday for two weeks now. It’s been an incredible experience, great instructors, clean, very warm and welcoming environment and knowledgeable staff. Thinking of becoming a member soon to continue this journey.

I have been a member of CorePower for years and love the consistency in quality teachers, great locations, and a great workout! Shoutout to Kit, Kristy, Stacy, Auz and many other wonderful teachers at this studio. Highly recommend becoming a member if you aren't already to enjoy their variety of yoga classes. especially sculpt if you want something with weights/cardio.

I’ve been a dedicated CorePower Yoga Sculpt attendee, with over 140 classes under my belt, but my recent experience with Mara at the Belltown studio left me deeply disappointed. I requested dimmer lighting during class, as it creates a more relaxing atmosphere—something I know many members prefer. Mara was dismissive, questioning my request and insisting that bright lights are necessary for the class. Most instructors I’ve taken classes with start with dim lights and gradually brighten them, which creates a much better experience. Her refusal to adapt felt rigid and out of touch with the inclusive and welcoming vibe CorePower typically fosters.
Her overall approach also seemed disconnected from the demographic of the class, which was mostly younger people. Yoga Sculpt is meant to be high-energy, with motivating music and a challenging workout. Unfortunately, her class lacked all of that—the room was much cooler than the typical 91°F for hot yoga (it was around 83°F), I didn’t even break a sweat, and the music was slow and uninspiring. It didn’t feel like Yoga Sculpt at all.
This experience, especially on Thanksgiving, left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope the studio takes feedback seriously and works with instructors like Mara to improve the experience so it aligns with CorePower’s usual high standards.

I arrived for my class a few minutes late and the door was locked. They don’t have a pin pad for you to let yourself in and they had no one at the reception desk either. I tried to get in touch with studio by calling their number, and it is out of commission. There are plenty of reasons why you might be running late for a class and most other studios are accommodating and understanding. It seems like core power rigidly sticks to their policies without providing any solutions or even a way to inform them. I couldn’t get in touch with them prior to class because their number doesn’t work. Won’t be going back and would not recommend!

Hot C2 why is it simply amazing and so healthy for me!
Lissy was such a pleasure to listen to with her soft and soothing voice, for easy directions, as she created an atmosphere of learning and release.
I felt my muscles giving attention, my sweat, releasing toxins, my ligaments and connective tissue are released and stopped holding onto tension and troubles.
Sweating through this yoga session made me wonder, maybe I should cut back on the unhealthy things.

I am on a free week and came back to this location after an amazing class with Camille this morning.
I was in kind of a rush since I hustle-walked from Capitol Hill to take the 7pm HPF class with Raj who engaged me in the rudest way saying, “calm down with that attitude.” after I left to due to how I was received. I was a bit winded from the rapidity of my walk here.
Admittedly, I responded, “you better watch who you’re talking to sir” since he was snappy to me and I was trying to catch my breath. I then got my class switched to the 7:45 C2 with Laura.
For Raj to be someone who’s a yoga instructor like he definitely projected a negative aura toward me. Not to mention some discouraging customer service. I say that because when I initially entered he repeatedly asked me if I signed up, to which I responded, “yes” a total of three times while catching my breath before offering him my phone number to look me up since
there are multiple Michael Cunningham’s in the system per what I’ve been told by other instructors during this free week. I love Corepower but the way in which he received me was definitely deterring. Which is why I switched to another class.

I have been going to this location pretty consistently ever since their grand reopening at the end of 2022 and I honestly have never been happier! The location is perfect for me, the instructors are SO wonderful, the variety of classes are ideal for keeping practices fun and exciting, and I just overall love that I get to do something great for my mind and body in a welcoming and empowering environment! I recommend this place to everyone and anyone I meet, that’s just how truly amazing it is <3

I've really enjoyed this studio and how welcoming the instructors are to everyone. I struggle with pain in my lower back and they offer a lot of alternatives to poses to help me protect my body. I also love the challenge each class/instructor brings! They all have a different style and flow that brings something new to each class. The temperature level of their hot yoga class also works well for me.

The teachers and studio are so welcoming! I’m a total beginner when it comes to doing yoga. I’ve taken a few YS and C2 classes now and it’s honestly such an intense yet relaxing workout. I have usually have to modify a lot of the movements and I never feel pressure and/or embarrassed by doing so.

The sculpting class is great. The staff was so friendly and I felt like I lost a pound or two after my first class.
