As a new member at CrossFit Fort Vancouver, I can’t say enough positive things about this gym. Adam and the coaching staff are outstanding — knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping every athlete improve. My onboarding session with Emma was fantastic, and from my very first WOD the community was incredibly welcoming and encouraging.
The gym is large, clean, and well-equipped, but the coaches and community are what truly set it apart. Whether you’re looking to excel as an athlete or simply get stronger and learn new skills, this is the place to be. CrossFit Fort Vancouver is truly “Hungry, Humble, and Awesome.”

The CrossFit journey is new to me, and I could not have asked for a better place to start than with CFV. CFV cultivates an incredibly welcoming and supportive environment. Adam and every single coach I interacted with made me feel able, welcome, and included. Any sense of intimidation I might have had was nearly eliminated because the coaches were so incredibly patient, encouraging, well-informed, and simply awesome. They offered individualized support, guidance, and personalized adjustments to the workouts (during classes) so that goals were more within my capacity and achievable. CrossFit Fort Vancouver truly does deserve 5 stars.

I have been going to CFV for about 2 months now, and I couldn't be more pleased. Having recently moved to Portland, commuting into Fort Vancouver 5-6 days a week seemed crazy, but the commute quickly became the best part of my day. Every coach at CFV knows your name, and is in-tune with your personal fitness journey. The workouts are challenging, fun, and most importantly, build on one another. It is really cool to be in a workout and realize, "ah, this is why we did __ last week".
Within the next few years, as my husband and I decide where to set down roots in the PNW, the proximity to CFV will definitely be a factor, it is that good.

The coaches here are absolute legends — equal parts encouraging, knowledgeable, and somehow psychic. They believe in you even if your kettlebell form looks like interpretive dance. They somehow know when to push, when to cheer, and when you just need to lie on the floor and reconsider your life.. 10/10, would burpee for them again. It’s like therapy, but louder and sweatier.

CrossFit Fort Vancouver is hands down one of the best gyms I’ve ever been a part of. From the moment I walked in, the coaches made me feel incredibly welcome. It’s clear they genuinely care about each athlete—no matter your fitness level.
What really sets them apart is their focus on education. The coaches don’t just tell you what to do—they take the time to teach you how to move correctly and safely. Whether you’re brand new to lifting or experienced, they meet you where you’re at and help you improve.
The community here is awesome, the workouts are challenging and fun, and the support from both the coaches and members is unmatched. If you’re thinking about trying CrossFit or looking for a new gym home, I can’t recommend CFV enough!

I dropped in at Fort Vancouver CrossFit and was very welcomed. The coaches were very knowledgeable and kind. I was happy I dropped in. They didn’t have any large T-shirts though, so I was unable to get a souvenir.

I finally went to try crossfit while on vacation last summer in British Columbia. Our abnb was next door to Richard Basfords gym 1up. Richard's gym was amazing and he graciously gave me a referral to ft vancouver. He knew ft vancouver only from the games and word of mouth. I couldn't have been more blessed by that one referral. Before I even left Canada I emailed ft vancouver, and got into the onramp when I got home. June of last year started my fitness transformation again. I hadn't stepped into a gym for almost 15 years. It was a slow start and i am very hard on myself but this place is amazing. It is my fitness home and I have no intent to leave! I just keep showing up and trying even if I am tired. The coaching has been a huge benefit. The intensity of my workouts would not be the same if I was on my own. Everyone is very supportive and friendly. These coaches could choose to do anything they want with other athletes way better than myself, but the fact that I can be under their training makes it extra special. I can't thank them enough. They all have an infectious positive attitude that makes me just want to be better and try harder. My only regret is not starting sooner.

As someone who has been to CrossFit gyms around the world, CFV is truly one of the special ones.
From the top down, Adam is hands on, friendly, approachable, kind, invested, and coaches regular classes! That leadership trickles down through the coaches, who approach every class the same way. They are all knowledgeable, and take the time to get to know members personally to make each class experience customized to the athlete. Whether it’s checking in on aches and pains, or scaling options for beginners, each coach truly sets the bar high for any CF gym I’ve been to.
If you’re looking for a gym, this place is so special, and truly becomes a second home. I’ve loved getting to be here the last 5 months, and look forward to a long relationship with the CFV family!

Absolutely the place to be! A gym that’s got a community filled with Humble, Hungry and Awesome humans! An inclusive safe space for folks to beat chronic illnesses, get strong, rehab, grow and create new barriers for themselves. You’ll see folks in their 70’s deadlifting and bench pressing, to teens & preteens snatching and power cleaning, parents working out hard next to their little one while their toddler is starting at them in awe watching their mom or dad absolutely sending it on the echo bike, from the young guy/gal that is rehabbing an injury while using CrossFit as way to get stronger in their chosen sport all while competing for a spot on the Olympic team; the numerous decorated CrossFit athletes that show the rest of the community “how it’s done” but all while rubbing shoulders with one another as everyone collectively makes each other better.
Being the most decorated CrossFit gym is probably the least thing that anyone cares about here, it’s not even uttered! Because these folks would rather be volunteering at the local county food bank once a month, which they do, or running marathons and climbing mountains, which they also do haha! A catalyst for breaking your own barriers is what this place is!!

CFV is a unicorn of gyms. The environment strikes a rare balance between supportive encouragement and pushing every individual to be the best they can be. Despite the fact that there's a stupid amount of real real good athletes at CFV, there's approximately zero ego in the room at any given moment. Further, the coaching is absolutely top-notch for every single class and everyone gets quality feedback and attention- whether they're a world class athlete or it's their first week doing crossfit.
CFV's community is welcoming and kind; even though there are lots of members, I've felt individually known and cared for since day one. In the 10 months I've been here, I've grown more as an athlete (both physically and mentally) at CFV than I have anywhere else. This place is really really special. 27/10 would recommend.

I first had my experience at CrossFit Fort Vancouver in 2019 when I dropped in for a week while on vacation. I knew from that time that this would be my home gym once I moved to Vancouver years later because of how welcoming the coaches were and in fact, the members as well. Whether you’re an experienced athlete or a beginner, they can accommodate to nearly anyone when it comes to the workouts.
I felt at home which is exactly how you want to feel when visiting a gym. I love how caring the coaches are and how they are constantly checking in with me and all the members about any injuries or things bothering us to help scale down movements within the workouts.
Throughout the years, I have seen progress in my fitness with the help of the coaching staff here - even with needing to a few steps back from injuries.
I’ve been officially a member for the past 4 years or so and have been really happy to have a place where we have so much community, support one another while improving our fitness. It’s one of the highlights to each day when I get to come to the gym.
If you’re looking for a gym in the area, don’t look any further because you’ve found the best one.

Been training here since the beginning! It's a family friendly environment with world class coaching and an even better community. Big facility with showers and every imaginable strength & conditioning piece of equipment one could wish for. Olympic weightlifting with Coach Eric is awesome! They even have great nutrition coaches to help dial in health and wellness with an opportunity to check progess on an In-Body Scan. There's an awesome group called QuickFit which caters to the older athlete- so cool! Their involvement in the local community is pretty significant. Blessed to be able to call this home! Come on in if you're looking for a great gym and you'll walk away with a whole lot more.

CrossFit Fort Vancouver has become a second home to us. We started going during the end of 2020. You can tell that the coaches have a passion for what they’re doing. I recently started on my nutrition Journey with Coach Jess. I needed someone to guide me in meal preps and making sure I was getting enough food throughout the day. She made sure to check in with me throughout the week and would help me navigate if I was facing challenges. These place is something special and the community they have created is like family.

Crossfit: A great gym with awesome coaches that help you scale workouts to your level! As someone new to Crossfit, I am so glad I found this gym.
Nutrition: Jess Core is very knowledgeable about nutrition! She helped me understand macro tracking and adjusting. Jess also emphasized the importance of resistance training, sleep, and developing healthy habits on top of what you're already doing. I highly recommend working with Jess about anything nutrition related.
Conjugate: Top notch strength training class! Coach Chris is very knowledgeable and has great programming. The class is smaller so you can get more individual attention if needed.

I have been a member of this fantastic place for a long time now. My wife and I decided to start meeting with Haley V. through CFVs nutrition program.
Nutrition for me has been an afterthought, and something I felt would be too time consuming to learn about and make changes. I was completely wrong. Haley was exceptional in teaching us about nutrition, coaching and encouraging us towards our goals and providing consistent accountability. Our meals have gotten simpler, more consistent, healthier, and less time consuming. The nutrition coaching at CFV is another exceptional program at an amazing gym, and we can't recommend it enough.

I stumbled across CFV last April. My job brought me to Vancouver and I was supposed to just be there for 3 months on an assignment. A year later, I now have a wonderful community that have become family.
I came to CFV with my own programming and looking to just do open gym but that changed the moment I attended one of their classes. Emma was the first person I met when I walked in, and she was super welcoming with the biggest smile on her face. After one workout together, a few weeks went by and I started 6:30p class due to work schedule changes. The energy and passion she brings with her everyday is unmatched. Colin was the next person I met and he made me feel right at home. I am over 3k miles away from my home and my family but everyone at CFV, especially 6:30, has made me feel as if I’m not 3k miles from home. The coaches are phenomenal, some of the best coaching I’ve had in my CrossFit years. I’m so thankful for CFV everyday, I try to make it in at least 4-5 days a week and it’s the highlight of my day. This is a world class gym.
Great coaches, community, programming, and equipment. Strong focus on individual scaling and mobility with ample time for warmup and cool down.
Drop-ins are always treated well. Coaches always ask them about their experience level and any injuries which is impressive.

I dropped in here for a drop-in WOD, having overnighted in Portland on a trip down the I-5. It’s easy to see why this facility is one of the premiere gyms in the CF community. Lots of space, ample equipment, etc. But the most phenomenal part of this place is how friendly the people are. From the moment I stepped foot inside, Coach Adam greeted me with a smile and a handshake. For the WOD, Coach Kristina did an amazing job, spending time with each athlete to help them make the most of the session. She clearly knows her stuff. The other athletes were also extremely friendly. I really can’t say enough good things about the place. I’ll be back for sure if I am in the area again. They also have a cool display of their Affiliate Cup medals from past CrossFit Games, as well as some Justin Medeiros memorabilia, including his jersey and bronze medal from the 2020 games and his leader jersey and shorts from 2021. It’s like a mini CrossFit Smithsonian! 😁

I was in the Vancouver area for a few days and was able to squeeze in a workout during open gym hours on Friday, July 16th. It was the closest CrossFit gym to where I was staying, and when I signed up for my class slot online, it didn't click with me at the time that it's home to 2020 CrossFit Games 3rd place finisher/Rookie of the Year Justin Medeiros, along with many CrossFit Fort Vancouver team appearances at the Games in years past.
Justin himself was working out with coach Adam when I arrived. The whole crew at the gym was so incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly.
The prescribed wall ball weight for the workout that day was 20lbs for women. I usually do 14lbs., and Adam gave me some tips on how to approach the workout and go for the 20. I paired up with a regular member, Alexis, and she and I had an awesome workout.
I felt just as at home at CrossFit Fort Vancouver as I have at any other gym, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town. Even as a random 50-year-old drop-in from Sacramento, I felt as valued as any other athlete in the gym.

Great gym! I just moved to the area. I tried three different CrossFit gyms before settling on CrossFit Fort Vancouver. The programming is great! The gym is huge in comparison to many other gyms I have seen. This is the cleanest gym in the area, especially as it relates to covid. But they are great about maintaining continuity for their members throughout quarantine. It's a great place to meet people. Everyone is welcoming. All of the coaches care about their clients. I drive over 20 minutes to get to this specific gym, bypassing 3 others on the way. It's worth it!

I just had my first on ramp session with Heather this morning and it was a phenomenal experience. I've done CrossFit at other places and my one big issue has been my squat. I've been so convinced it was my hips that were limiting my mobility and every other coach I've worked with went along with that until Heather. She was able to pinpoint issues with my ankles and stance that were getting in the way of getting deep into a squat. She also gave me some great stretches to work on at home.
The whole vibe of this gym is so welcoming and supportive, which is great when you're like me and socially/workout anxious. I'm so happy I stopped in to chat with Adam and got started with their program. Zero pressure, very laid back, all around good humans. Can't wait to work out with them again!

This place has an open Gym time and regular class times. I really enjoy the freedom to either show up for a class time or do my own thing. Every class will have a wide range of athletic abilities. Everyone is super supportive and encouraging. All the coaches are positive and informative as well. I thoroughly enjoy this gym.

Have been part of the CrossFit community for years and always look forward to trying out box’s In the area. Before going to CFV I knew their reputation was stellar and was not surprised by the level of professionalism when dropping into a Class. I'm so impressed by this place! The coaches are amazing - incredible expertise. They each have superb ability to communicate movements as they relate to the body. Working through the onramp series with the CFV training team I had an epiphany EMOM. They built on what I brought and customized the coaching in a way that really acknowledged where my body was and how my brain processed information. I am new to CrossFit - my husband drew me in and I like it because it's super fun, it challenges me, and it makes me believe in my own possibilities. CFV has a great culture - a nice balance of facilitating each athlete's independent journey in the context of a supportive and competitive community. I haven't met or trained with all of the coaches here yet, but the whole vibe of coaches and athletes who workout here is awesome. This is probably the best group of trainers and the best gym that I've ever been a part of and actually I'm not even a member, my children are. My kids are teenagers and they are training Monday Wednesdays and Fridays and my daughter did some ligament damage to her foot well I don't even know how - she's clumsy she just tripped but the trainers called, they've checked and they've left messages and they followed up and just an abundance of support for my kids like they love going on Monday Wednesday and Friday they look forward to their mornings with the trainers and I just am blown away at that decency and compassion that they run their gym. I'm could be like any other gym where are you just coming in, swipe your card and go to the equipment but this is personal interaction people checking on you people investing and you people knowing your name and some of the best trainers I see - they are in shape and they are killing it at the CrossFit games they are leading lives that are exemplary and we are just so blessed to have this gym be a part of the Vancouver and Clark County community

How can I give a gym 5 stars without ever setting foot inside it? I had signed up for a competition that the gym would be running and had already paid my entry fee. Over the holiday weekend I suffered a serious bicep injury and know I would not be able to compete. I emailed the gym and let them know to pull my name from the competition. I received an email from Adam who was very kind and even refunded the competition fee (160 bucks). It was just so nice to be treated like a person and not a customer. I felt I had to share my experience. -cheers

I've been going to Crossfit Fort Vancouver for a little over a year now, and I can't say enough good things about it. Since day one, Adam and company have welcomed me and made CFV an awesome place to hang out and get fit. The workouts are scaled to any and all fitness levels, the coaches are supportive, engaging, and take the time to give you one-on-one tips, and the ever-expanding gym itself is full of people having fun and getting stronger, faster, and better in the process. The programming is meticulously designed and Adam (the owner/operator) knows just how to help you get to the fitness level that you so eagerly desire. This is THE place to be. You feel like a champion when you are working out with such uplifting, high quality people. Also, I noticed results in the mirror after 2 workouts. Not joking.
As a chiropractor, I appreciate that they are respectful to the body and adapt to individual limitations. If you are curious, I encourage you to show up for a try-it-out workout and you will know if it is right for you.
