My daughter spent the last two years at the preschool and we couldn't have been happier.  I'll start by saying it's super clean, and they even have the kids sanitize their hands on the way in.  We were blown away by how much effort they put into themes/decorations/activities/crafts, we’d never seen anything like it, and this was the 4th preschool our family has attended over the past 6 years, so we have plenty to compare it to.  The props they brought it made us wonder if they had a whole storage unit dedicated to the school, they really went all out.  It was obvious how much effort was put in by the teachers. They even sent home a scrapbook style photo keepsake at the end of the year.

Though this was my daughter's first school experience, and her first time being away from me, she never once showed any anxiety which told she was comfortable and well taken care of.  They have a large one way mirror and welcome parents to stay and watch as long as they'd like.  And for the best part, they get to have regular dance parties complete with disco lights and spend plenty of time playing games, riding scooters and moving their bodies in the dance studios.

We were a bit hesitant to check out the school because they are a "performing arts preschool,” but other than putting on two amazingly adorable shows for the parents each year, during preschool hours, it didn’t seem to be more of a performing arts school than the others we’ve attended.

I can't say enough good things about this place.  I'm so glad I have one more little so we don't have to say goodbye just yet.

Our family had an amazing experience at this preschool. I drove across town for 2 years (my daughter was in the 3 yo and the 4 yo programs) and did so happily because of the amazing environment they created for my child. I can’t recommend it enough.

Sanji ballet teacher is great. She is patient with students. Her classes are always overfill.
The rest of the teachers are not as good. Late to classes and unprepared.
Be prepared for extra costume fees on top of what you initially paid. Communication is poor within the studio.

My daughter enjoys her ballet here so much. The staff are excellent and run a tight ship. I had one issue early on and it was handled with grace and compassion, sign of a great business. My daughter is excited to go to class everytime. I yearn for a return to normal so we can see recitals again. Thank you!

My sisters went to this dance studio when they were kids, and now our family continues the tradition as my two daughters take classes here. My 8 year old loves it, and has even asked to go hang out at the Dance Center when she doesn't have classes, and my 4 year old has so much fun in class. I feel like the staff truly cares about my kids, and wants to see them do the best they can. We had tried several different studios before we moved here, and never did my daughter love dance as much until The Dance Center of Spokane.

My daughter has danced off and on at DCOS since she was 3. She's just beginning her second year of competitive dance and we couldn't be happier. The growth and advancement she's made in just one year with these fantastic teachers is amazing. Thank you, DCOS!

My 15 year old daughter has danced at the Dance Center of Spokane since she was 4. The teachers are wonderful and she has blossomed into a beautiful dancer. I feel great about her being there because I know she is loved and cared for. Thank you DCOS for being my daughters second home.

My daughter has taken dance here for 8 years. We love the DCOS! She has grown into a beautiful dancer under the wonderful instruction provided by a wide variety of highly qualified teachers over a full range of dance styles. She spends so much time here it's become like a second home and feels like family. I appreciate the focus on solid technique, building a strong foundation from which to grow her skills. They have always answered any questions and taken an individualized approach that shows how much they care about each and every dancer. Through her dance training here she has learned that hard work, dedication, focus, responsibility, and being a team player pay off in a variety of ways. I know she will continue to grow under the instruction and care of the amazing staff throughout the next several years.

I’ve had my 14yr old daughter enrolled at this studio since she was three. We absolutely LOVE the staff and the Director is great about placing each dancer in the class best suited for that child. The teachers are all very proficient in their styles of dance and have always challenged my kiddo to work to her fullest potential! I’ve loved watching her grow into a confident dancer over the years and I am so thankful to DCOS for providing such an awesome environment for that to happen in.

We have been at the Dance Center for years, my daughter went from being very shy to someone who comes alive on stage. We love the dance community there and it’s my daughters second family. I’m very impressed with the preschool as well where I got to help for a couple weeks.
