Debbi's Dance Etc offers a great selection of classes for dancers of any level, you can schedule a trial class with no obligation, they even have dance shoes available to borrow for class. Their teachers and staff are welcoming, supportive, and wonderfully trained(most are studio alumni). My daughter has been with Debbi's Dance Etc for several years now and loves the connections she has made with staff and other students. They also offer lots of fun activities throughout the year, monthly Friday fun nights, summer dance camps, seasonal performances. We have been coming to the studio since my daughter was 7 i beleive. I have made some great friendships here. The owners/instructors are great and treat you like family. If I ever had an issue, which has been rare ( my daughter is 16 now) they have always been quick to help/address it. They do fun activies through out the year for the kids and always put on a great end of the year performance. My daughter has made some great friendships to include one of her very best friends here as wel and enjoys dancing here.

My wife and I have had our daughter dancing at Debbis since she was 5. She love's it! It is an amazing place almost like family. The teachers are all wonderful accomplished dancers with great skills, and do a fantastic job working with kids of all ages (including adults). There is a unique culture here that is sort of rare to find. That's what stands out the most to us. There is a mix of all kinds of people, parents, students, and teachers, who all love and support one another united by the love of dance. Come sign up and join the fun. My daughter has been Dancing at Debbi’s for the last 4.5 years and loves it! From tall and small to tap, ballet, lyrical, jazz, hip hop and Acro she has gotten to try so many styles of dance and had so much fun. I found this studio over 20 years ago when we were a new military family relocating to the area. At this time, I had 3 girls who wanted to take dance lessons. We love Debbi's Dance!
My 3 year old daughter started at Debbi's with a 6 week/ 1 practice a week, session of lessons.
The first day my little one was literally frozen- too nervous/ shy to participate.
By the 3rd practice she was grooving along and having so much fun!
By the summer performance at the end of the 6 weeks she danced her little heart out and didn't want to leave the stage!
The growth in her confidence brings literal tears to my eyes and I know a huge part of that is all the wonderful teachers/ instructors at this dance school!

I have not been in a tap class for over 20 years. Thank goodness for Debbie's Dance to offer a beginning tap class for adults. As a former dancer I was well rounded and enjoyed tap the most. Amanda is the teacher and is awesome!! She was able to break down the steps so that all levels could do the steps. If it has been a while I recommend giving Debbies Dance a go. Debbies also offers an adult jazz taught by Stephanie. Great energy. Nothing too difficult and a lot of fun. Come check them out.. you wont be sorry.

I’m basing this review off of my conversations with the director.

Having experienced other communication styles with other studio owners, dance schools, managerial positions, and directors… Debbie’s Dance was consistently professional, communicative, transparent, and above all… kind.

As a late-diagnosed autistic individual, I often encounter neurotypical individuals who have lack the patience, grace, and understanding for communicating with parents on the spectrum.

That was not the case with Debbie’s Dance.

I attended the June showcase and was blown away at the diversity of dance and levels that were celebrated and shown; it inspired me try beginning tap dancing as a 40+ year old with little to no previous dance experience. I especially love that this is a very inclusive studio. There are folks of all ages from littles to seniors, folks of all body types, and a wide variety races and ethnicities; and they are accepting of everyone. Oh and I totally enjoyed tap, so I signed up for another session to learn more. 10/10 highly recommend!!!

Debbie’s dance has been part of Lacey for decades. As a child I would always drive by. Now that I have a daughter, I’ve had the privilege of understanding why Debbie’s dance is so special. I was unsure when I saw the location of this place, but our experience was really great with everyone we met being super friendly. We were given a tour, everything was explained simply, we even were allowed to borrow dance shoes! There are a lot of kids and nice areas where families can hang out. There are viewing windows for parents to watch younger kids, etc and overall I would definitely recommend this studio.

We had so much fun at the talk and small class! The dance instructor was so patient with my crazy toddler and there’s variety with the style of dancing in the class which I really appreciate & great music for the age group. My daughter danced at another dance studio for years and absolutely fell in LOVE with Debbi’s Dance from the first trial class. It used to be a bit of a lift to get her to want to go to class, now she is counting the days until she can go and asking if she can add more classes! As a parent you can watch The classes through a window (without the blinds shut), and they have designated space for the dancers to be able to work on homework if they want to. We highly recommend this studio!

Highly recommend!!! My daughter has been begging me to sign her up for dance class. I thought it might be too expensive 💰. We just had a new baby 👶, and we are having a house built 🏡; throw in the holidays 🦃🎄 🎁 and it makes for a tight budget 🤑! So we went to Debbie's for a free trial class. My daughter loved it 💕! The staff were super friendly and helpful! She loved her teacher for the class too!! It's also really quite affordable 😀 so we signed up for classes 🩰 we will start with 1 a week and if all goes well, we are thinking about adding on more classes in the future 👯‍♀️. Wonderful Dance Studio.Very clean, our oldest daughter who is now 22 started when she was only 4, and we now have a5 year old who started when she was 2 1/2 who has many years ahead of her. we also have a 2 1/2-year-old who is going to be starting this next month with many years ahead of her. This studio is amazing and is very important to my daughter. She talks about everyone at the studio as a second family, this includes the teachers. They are very good with younger dancers and safety is their top priority when it comes to teaching dancers one of the hardest things for your body to do physically. They are open to all ages, from around 2 years old to the Divas, most of which are moms of both current and former dancers. Debbi's accepts everyone, no matter how good of a dancer you are.

My husband and I took private dance lessons with Karri and she is amazing! Neither of us had any experience and wanted to know a few steps we could do in preparation for our first dance at our wedding in October. We learned ballroom waltz steps with her and it was easy thanks to her instruction. She made sure we were at the same skill level with each other and had no issues in teaching us both at the same time. She had no problem in being flexible with her schedule and was so fun to work with. I highly recommend taking private lessons with Karri!

Be careful when enrolling your child at this studio. My daughter was enrolled in an extremely full class. The teacher was too over whelmed with the amount of kids in the class. She couldn't focus on everything and all the kids in the class. An incident occurred where the teacher picked up my child and "tossed" my child into the hallway while yelling at my daughter. When the studio owner called me there was no apologies just a lot of attitude. It's too bad since I grew up in this studio when Debbie actually owned the business.
